Felina laughed reaching under the bed for the book she had been reading the night before "Ok ok moogles aren't scary or intimidating unless they are pointing a very large weapon at you then or a big machine thing. Was just thinking that small things can be intimidating when they want to be, like some of the gria judges we see all in armour. But never mind all that, I'm not keeping you up am I?" she wondered sensing his tiredness.

Oassu smiled shaking his head "Don't worry I'll be fine so long as you aren't bouncing around the bed I'll be able to sleep just fine but I don't especially find the Gria that intimidating....more than moogles at least" he said.
Itaka nodded stroking Seph's wings "Must suck having a good deal of your power sealed off in that arena no magic or anything" he said "Still even if you are worried about it there's always prizes for coming second and third you just do your best tomorrow!" he said.
Gil chuckled watching as Zadina bounced off his defence yet again "Good now you need to try and do some defending of your own" he said "Block this attack I'll do it slowly" he said before making a slow clumsy slice towards Zadina who hopped back out of the way.

Seph nodded spreading her wings out as much as she felt she could without squishing anybody "I know I know you can only do your best at the end of the day but theres no harm in a little planning. I mean at least theres no rule against me using my tail within the tournament, just the claws.... well I looked that up I can use my claws just not offensively and if I use it as a defence then I get marked down" she stated glad she had cleared the rules up earlier in the day.
Hebal paused stepping forward "Here, you should hold your blade a little higher towards your head since Gil is a much taller opponant than you and the last thing anyone should do is leave their head so open. Headshots are almost always fatal" she hinted moving Zadina's hands into the recommended position for him

Felina shook her head blushing slightly "Well I do not have the energy to be bouncing around all night so you'll be ok... unless Cid is really disruptive in which case I'll be up and down a lot which isn't as often now. Feels a little silly that I get intimidated so easily but its the fact I don't like it when people hide their faces" she sighed flicking through the pages hoping to take her mind off her worries regarding Zadina's training with Gil.

Oassu smiled "Well Gil is certainly intimidating but that's probably well earned if you ask me" he said stretching on the bed "Still you needn't worry you've got a top ninja protecting you as well as a legendary mercenary" he chuckled.
Itaka nodded nuzzling Seph now the wings were stretched "Looking to gain the extra advantage are we?" he chuckled "Surprised they haven't banned Gil as a result, his extra arms kinda give him a massive advantage over the competition" he said finishing his champagne.
Zadina nodded and Gil smiled "You won't need to do it that much, you're an elf and you'll be taller than most opponents you come across soon but you should be fine like that for now" he said "But don't dodge this time try and parry it I'll just go slow" he said gently moving his sword towards Zadina who hesistantly blocked it.

Seph smirked nodding her head "Well I'm hardly going to have an easy time fighting Gil without the odd surprise and its probably because half the tournament entries were able to fly meaning they all had massive advantages that they allowed Gil in with all his arms. But maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way, at the end of the day I would like to think I've knocked a few good opponants out the tournament and done my bit to help Oassu and Felina out" she pondered resting her head on Itaka's shoulder.
Hebal paused thinking over Gil's answer for a moment "Well for now he is yet to have his growth spurt and elves age so slowly it may take a while before he grows big like his uncle" she reminded him hopping further away from the pair and giving Zadina a round of applause for his successful block

Felina smiled back "Oh really, would you call yourself a top ninja now? Not sure Satoshi would agree" she teased rubbing her nose against his "I'm just kidding, maybe you aren't the best ninja yet since you haven't got the same amount of experience as some but you do a great job of fighting and looking after me its true" she laughed kissing his cheek "As for Gil, lets let him concentrate on the tournament for now not protecting little old me"

Oassu smiled "Well I'm combat tested and reliable at least" he said cuddling Felina "Why are you all worried about this anyway?" he asked frowning as he played with Felina's fingers "Something bothering you?" he asked.
Itaka raised an eyebrow "It's not like you to be so selfless thought the glory would mean something to you" he said putting his arm around Seph "Ah well it's not a bad thing you certainly have done a lot for those two" he said.
Zadina frowned "Hey I'm sure I'll start my growth spurt soon!" he protested to Hebal and got clanked on the head by Gil's sword.
"Hey you need to focus!" Gil said watching as Zadina rubbed the place the blunt sword had struck casting cure at the same time "Your opponents may try and distract you and on a battlefield there will be chaos all around you need to concentrate as much during a swordfight as you would casting one of your spells!" he scolded "Now again!" he said swinging at Zadina again.

Seph laughed shaing her head "Who am I kidding sure I love getting glory and all that, I was just trying to put a bit of a spin on it. That said I do have my moments when I think of things other than myself, more so than Alpha does for sure" she cheerfully replied while she massaged her horns "Never would have seen myself getting close to that pair when I first met them or you for that matter"
Hebal giggled resisting the urge to pat Zadina on the shoulder in the middle of training "Hehe ok ok if you say so but for now you should practice anywayin case you come up against even taller elves when grown some more, or even from dragoon people like myself who attack lots from above" she answered hopping up and down on the spot

Felina hesitated looking down at "It's nothing really, just thinking that since theres foul play going then our lot may get into a bit of bother with someone trying to mess things up. I mean I know they are strong and all but I can't help but feel a little bad about it since nobody has been caught yet" she mumbled placing her arm around him

Oassu smiled "Relax if they do get dragged into a fight outside the arena they can use all their powers and Gil Zadina and Hebal are certainly no slouches in combat" he said hugging Felina "Plus the place has judges watching over them all anyway so it's fine" he said trying to reassure Felina.
Itaka chuckled "I know I know you are fine" he said massaging her horns for her "I guess so but it's the nice thing to do though they've probably got enough friends to do what they like after all Felina is royalty I'm sure she could acquire the item somehow no matter the odds" he said.
Zadina nodded understanding gasping slightly as Gil slowly increased the speed of his attacks "Ah Sir Gil please don't get too fast!" he insisted. Gil smiled "Don't worry Zadina opponents will attack you faster than this but you just need to get used to high speed combat. It's a mark of any good swordsman" he insisted

Hebal nodded pushing her hair out of her face which had been swept along by the wind "Thats like important for all disciplines be it spell casting or sword work, gotta be fast or you won't last long. All the more reason to concentrate and practice she added with a yawn "Training is very boring but it all works out useful in the end"
Seph grinned stroking Itaka's arm now someone else was seeing to her horns "Could order enough people to go looking but I bet very few of them would make that extra effort to get all the items. Plus not all of them would know where to look where as our lot are all more than qualified consisting of treasure hunters and all"

Felina yawned leaning against Oassu "Judges should show their faces more often, its nice to be able to identify them by means other than their armour. But ok ok, I would like to think they aren't going to have anymore incidents like with Satoshi.. do you reackon that the finalists will each get a judge watching them like they have been with Mari?" she wondered returning his hug

Oassu smiled "Well I can imagine why some of them keep the faces hidden, after all criminals might target them if they knew their identity plus those helmets must provide some protection." he said "And I doubt it, don't think they have that many to spare besides Sophia is what they are really watching" he said.
Gil chuckled "Well maybe you could use a little training, you need to find a drive and love of training I certainly quite enjoy it" he said stretching letting Zadina recover after suffering a blow from the sword. "Don't worry too much Zadina all this bumping will toughen you up a bit" he said
Itaka smiled "Yeah certainly got a good pile of knowledge and personally I'd feel privilege to have a legendary mercenary and sword collector assisting me" he chuckled kissing Seph's wings.

Hebal frowned with her ears suddenly standing upright at the mention of more training "Heey I train a lot as is you know, all that running around and jumping is the more fun part but swinging the spear round in the air for and all is just so dull but I do it because it means chances are I'll live longer in this more dangerous world" she defended herself wishing she had brought her own weapon with her to demonstrate.
Seph nodded kissing Itaka's neck "They should also feel privelaged to have someone like myself helping them out free of charge, and even more so Alpha's help. He makes me look like a saint regarding how selfish we can be she snickered shuffling closer to him "Wonder if Oassu and Felina are currently enjoying being like leader of the group right now, telling us where to go and such"
