Kyle_Rayner Chris Powell *rolls his eyes* He's got one the most powerful weapons in the universe!! Its been so long since Ive read comics. Does Kyle still have a ring? Is there any distinction between the alpha and beta rings? You have a ring....I have no idea what a beta vs alpha ring is.....and the Guardians have let you have lethal force.

Last I heard (and I'm not really following Countdown), Kyle defeated Parallax after it tried to take him over, "Ion" wound up in a Daxamite GL, and he is an Alpha Green Lantern again. I believe he's currently hopping around the Multiverse with Donna Troy and Jason Todd.

I saw scans of the fight with Parallax, it was actually pretty neat. Kyle was fighting him in his mind, so un-powered Kyle pwned him with a sharpened pencil to the eye.
I believe Ron Marz wrote it.
