*Cady wanders out into the city. He'd left Serena back at his club. He wasn't sure about her, still, but he didn't consider her a threat. He soon senses someone he recognises, someone he had been trying to contact for a while. He begins searching for Rogue, hopping over rooftops to find her. He'd changed quite a bit sice they last met...*

*Rogue stops on a roof rather abruptly....catching the scent of a familiar vampire....Cady.
it had been so long. she knew he would be coming soon for some reason...and casually lit up a cigarette and stared down into the street. it was too cloudy to dream at the moon tonight...*

*Cady lands on the roof Rogue was on, and begins walking towards her. He knew she knew he was there, but he also knew that, presumably, she didn't know about his missing eye, or about his viewpoint concerning the Rebbelion* Hello there... *he smells the cigarette smoke and it reminds him that he himself has taken up, although it's purely aesthetic; even the niccotine wasn't addictive to his body, too dead already to suffer the ill affects of cigarette smoke. He takes out a cigarette and lights his own* I have a message for you to deliver, if you want to... but that's not the main reason I've sought you out.

*Cady smiles, no comment on the eye and he was glad. After all, Rogue was one of the people to save Xan from him, and he'd rather not mention that it was Xan who removed his eye.* I'd like you to tell Rikku that I'm on her side in this foolish rebellion. But as I said, I had an ulterior motive for coming to talk to you, and it's just that; I wanted to talk, wanted a companion for a while. This city can be so dull at times... *He smiles and looks at the little mortals on the street, bussying themselves like it really mattered what they did with their llives. Cady had fought wars which have been forgotten... they will all be forgotten*

Shadow strode through the increasingly more crowded streets, his route to the revolt base now much more direct. He had had a strange enough night already, and was certainly not in the mood for anymore of the almost random crazyness that had been happening around him. Not without good reason was the demon at all hoping to run into any more night walkers.

Shadow sighed with relief as he crossed into the wrecked part of the city, the base coming into view a few blocks ahead. This overly strange night was finally coming to an end.

"I have been wandering the city some nights. Of course just...catching the occational meal, watching mortals go about their business....some days longing for it again. I have not felt this way in who knows how long.
I have not had much contact with our kind as of late. I paint my room in the quiet of the night, and dream in the quiet of the day...sometimes lingering on my past because sometimes it seems there is no future. this life....it...finds its way to melt together...."

*Cady was glad that others shared his thoughts, and were willing to share them, but saddened that she was saddened, by thinking about them.* The past was often glorious for our race, wasn't it? Many of us have lived through times of great deeds... It's unfortunate that modern life is so monotonous... Although, i have been preparing for something big that I can sense in the air... something will happen soon, I'm sure of it. *He takes a final drag then flicks the butt of his cigarette off the roof.*

*Cady waits for a moment, before blowing out the smoke, and only thn does he talk* A fight, a catestrophic fight... I think lots of immortals will die. I dont plan on dying, but I do plan on being in the thick of it if it happens. Me and my little army I've managed to get myself. I've fortified my club, you, of course, are welcome but if you want to stay I'm affraid there's only one crypt spare at the momnent and its the spare one in my room... but it might be worth you checking the place out, should the HQ... fall... The club is smaller and might be easier to defend, besides I have tunnels leading to the industrial sector and the sewers.
