She looked at Shadow. Her face showed fear and hatred. "I have to be going now. It was nice meeting you," she got up as quickly as possible and ran.

He tilts his head back and looks up at the sky, his frown slowly turning into a smirk. A strong wind begins to blow, blowing his hair and clothes in all directions.

Now this is odd. She thought to herself, slowly making her way towards the sight in curiosity. Wind...aura...hm... she flicked the fan closed and watched from under the roof he was on, her head tilted skyward.

After awhile, she stopped and ran down an alley. She sat down next to a dumpster and was on the verge of tears. How could someone just stand and watch as people were being hurt and not do anything. Mabey she was missing something. Mabey he had good reason, but why. She needed to think.

*Cady watches someone run into an alleyway beneath his perch on the edge of a building. he looks down at her, and he can sense already that she is no mortal. Perhaps he should talk to her? or perhaps he shouldn't, there was alot of trouble at the moment. He'd fed for the night, anyway, so he did need something to do, and either way, talking to her might give him something to do. He jumps down into the alleyway, making no attempt to hide himself, and yet he blends naturalywith the shadows.* Hello

Surprised, Shadow stared at the girl as she ran away, wondering what in the Nine Hells that hatefull look had been about. Suddenly he remembered that she was a mind reader, and on a hunch he looked at his hand. He still felt some of Serena's presance on it, and realized that that hadn't just been a hand shake.
She must have tapped into his memories, back to the days when Shadow Anarch had been a name feared worldwide, when he had been a possessed killer. Or perhaps even more recently, to the battle the night before, when he had stood on the sidelines and watched the bloody carnage unfold.
Dissmissing it for now, Shadow once again focused on Zei, and dashed off in the elder's direction.

*Cady smiles* I'm Cady, just another vampire in this City. And you? *He looks at her, takes in her expression and comesto a conclusion, which he then voices.* You're upset, why? *he speaks with curiosity, but not tenderness. He was not here to console her.*

He kneels slowly and lowers his head to watch the mortals wander the streets below. "Don't worry brother, I'll take care of them. Once this mess is over.." He chuckles quietly

She smirked and slowly turned into the alleyway next to the building, levitating as she focused on her aura, like stairs. She manipulated the energy around her, approaching the top of the building and stepping onto it gently, having made sure no one saw her. She tilted her head, being quiet without a threatening amount. She was curious as to what he was mumbling.

He came near to the building Zei was standing on, seeing the elder's figure looming on the edge of the roof. Shadow slowed to a walk and placed his hands in his pockets, hoping to blend in with the several night-going mortals on the streets around him.

*Cady's smile faded slightly, he did not know it was such comon knowlege, oh well. He was on the side he was hiding from, now, so it didn't matter* That I am, what of it? *out of old, old reflex he produces a hanky, unused of course, for her to wipe away her not-quite-formed tears with. He looks at it for a moment in idle curiosity. Funny how the body remembered things the mind didn't* Although... the club isn't currently open for business, as usual. I still provide blood and safe haven for vampires there, but it isn't open to mortals... and I am vetting the vampires allowed access

Zei stands up straight once again and looks directly down, he examines the area around the building he's on. "Yes, they'll all pay for what they done. I'll release you when the time is right. When the rebels have been destroyed, we don't want anyone getting in the way."
