he held her face in his hands and kissed her upside down.

mortis snapped his fingers and instantly two people appeared inside the nearby gazebo, in one's hands, a violin, and in the other's...a flute.
they began to play an extraodinary melody as the two lovers stood in the center of the park.
"might i have this dance m'lady??" he asked in a charming voice.

the couple got lost in the music for an amount of time they didn't know. all the while mortis had done nothing but stare into athena's beautiful blue eyes.
the love he felt was too much to keep bottled inside for much longer.
