Turning as she heard her name, she saw no one. Shaking her head, she really must have been tired.. But instead of going to the Club, she went to her old haunt. The sky scraper she had resided on most of the time, when she had been alone in the city. Sitting with her legs over the edge, she was doing some serious thinking.
The Demon had hurt when he'd said the Elder's weren't doing their jobs right, she had tried. The same thought had gone round her head for a few days now, though it seemed a rational idea now. She didn't want to bother Kinikki with it, he had been pretty wound recently with the rebellion as a whole. No other Elders in New York were available to talk to.. Though she hadn't seen any Lycan Elder's for a good few weeks. Was she the only Elder, besides the Leader, in this city? Looking up to the moon which was almost full, she sighed. Should she leave her Elderhood?The Demon had mentioned that he could take it.. Though she had a feeling that she wouldnt be around for long after he 'removed' it.
Sighing, she looked down into the streets. Why did mortals have no worries?

*Serena stared after Matsuo as she walked away.That girl is strange.She thought about what she had said. She looked down at the card she was given. The adress looked very familiar. Well I better get going if I want to get to Sodom. She continued on way*

Shadow strolled through the city streets, taking an extremely roundabout route back to the rebel base. As he passed one particular skyscraper, he stopped, feeling the presance of a nearby night walker. He looked up, turning his head until his gaze rested upon the vaguely familiar form of a lycan sitting on the edge of the building's roof. He stared for a few moments until he at last recognized her as one of the lycan elders.

She could sense other nightlife, but chose to ignore it. Rebels or not, she had thinking to do and it needed to be done.

*As Serena was walking, she began to think about squirles. Why squirles, who knows. As she was turning a corner she walked right into someone. She was startled by the suddeness of it but sensed that the stranger was a deamon*

Shadow turned around suddenly, his attention too intent upon the lycan on the roof to notice the other nightwalker until she ran into him.
"Pardon me..." he said with the slightest hint of sarcasm, though since he had been standing in the middle of the sidewalk, he supposed it wasn't entirely her fault.

"Pardon me..." he said with the slightest hint of sarcasm, though since he had been standing in the middle of the sidewalk, he supposed it wasn't entirely her fault. "Oh, no. It's my fault. I'm sorry.," suddenly she just realized what she did. "Oh, danmit! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I'm sorry."

Shadow smirked a bit at the girl's reaction, a bit of the seriousness from recent happenings leaving him.
"That's quite alright." he replied, placing his hands in his coat pockets. He didn't really have much else to say at this point.

"You mean, you don't mind? Me reading your mind and all? Because if you really do mind I'm terribly sorry. It's a habbit of mine," her face blushed out of embarresment. Though she seemed nervus and cool around the deamon, she was ready for anything from the guy. The last encounter she had with a deamon was one she wished to forget.

"No, it's fine..." he said, a tad bit confused. "It wasn't very important anyway."
His smirk dissapeared as she admitted to being a mind reader. He had never really liked the whole concept of the art, but he was practiced enought that he could keep his more private thoughts out of reach, and didn't mind if she read a few of the less important things going on in his head.

Standing, she looked over the ledge at the two night walkers she could smell. She wasn't in a mood for a confrontation, so she headed away from the 'scraper. In her mind, she went over things she was told when she was 'made' an Elder. It was in her blood.. So she couldn't get rid of it, could she? Logan hadn't rid herself of it, and she was long gone. But Xan couldn't force herself to leave her duties. Balancing on the edge of another building, she sighed.
