After putting kai down for a nap kira had fell asleep on the couch. Luci was sitting in a chair and seemed to be thinking a smirk on his face.

Khalid had had a fairly easy time keeping Ryou from Kira. Ryou had been very hesitant and worried and stressful at first, but slowly fell into a cycle. Bakura's tauntings were getting worse and worse, but he was able to keep them private and usually had a blank smile on his face. Currently Ryou and Khalid had gone outside to the front porch to smoke (only in Khalid's case) and talk (again, only in Khalid's case). Ryou nodded and listened intently.

Luci reached over and gently tapped kiras head. Kira dident wake but sqirmedand frowned. Luci laughed and steped outside.

Khalid ground his cigarette butt into the ash tray as Luci emerged from the house. Ryou looked up briefly but didn't comment or show a change of emotion. They had both fallen silent at Luci's presense, and neither said anything for a while.

"Not about the current conversation." Khalid said, looking across the front yard. "You seem to be in a good mood. Were you just tormenting Kira?"

Ryou tensed, but Khalid took a hold of his wrist and squeezed sharply. Ryou detested Luci for being mean to Kira, and this was what Khalid did to make sure Ryou didn't get angry or show that he was upset. The boy had a colorful collection of bruises around his wrists because of this. "I'm sure it is." Khalid said slowly to the demon.

Luci smirked.He also loved seeing ryou react. "It's fun to play with her. With so many bad memrioes it's easy to give her nighmares."

"Which is what you specialize in." Khalid said, as though just making sure what he thought was true. His grip on Ryou tightened and the boy bowed his head, his hair falling to form a kind of curtain to hide his face from Luci. His cheeks were flushed pink from supressed anger.

"Well I specialize in many things...I just enjoy watching people squirm in agony...." Luci said knowing he was making ryou upset. "Ofcorse seeming her squirm in other ways is wonderful as well..." Luci grinned.

Ryou managed to pull his hand out of Khalid's grip and twisted to face Luci. He was only vaguely aware that what he was about to do was stupid. He punched Luci across the face, with surprising force, considering his size. [Unless Luci dodges it or catches his fist, of course.]

Luci's head turned as he was hit. Luci then broke out in laughter "What? You never do anything with her. There's no reason I cant. I quite enjoy it..Im sure she dosent but then agian I care less about my little pet's feelings."

"It's not my fault that I don't--" Ryou began, but Khalid had had quite enough. He wound his arms around Ryou's waist and squeezed so that Ryou couldn't speak.
"Of course." Khalid said agreeably. Ryou squirmed in his grip, glaring at the two almost twins. "You really shouldn't provoke people like this, though. Don't you have manners?"
