Gil nodded "Well that would be nice but anything you get me is fine really" he said "I think I've still to see you in a kimono, bet it's a wonderful sight." he said kissing Satoshi on the head "Interesting traditions, giving a kunai seems odd since....well you are going to need to buy oh so many of them for your job as a ninja" he said.
Oassu nodded "I suppose so, he probably won't mind if he has his brother to help him, maybe they'll even find their father whereever he went" he said scratching his head "What was his dad even like?" he asked.
Itaka nodded "I know but it's still something that all nations support," he said "Though I hear they've been away from their countries so long most of the people there seem somewhat disillusioned" he said scratching his chin "Apparently they are extremely powerful too since they are required to subdue and capture demons" he said glancing at Seph "What kinda conditions do you need to get asylum in this world anyway?" he asked
Mari smiled "Yeah your spear gives you a range advantage over most people but for a samurai a lot of power comes from wielding a sword sorry but maybe we'll both learn something" she said

Seph sighed "The conditions are that only demons who defected and fought along side you guys during the war and their families are allowed to stay here so long as they are registered and given an identification number somewhere on their body. They used to scar it into us but nowerdays I think they just use tatoos. But Decarabia you see refused to be registered so as far as they know now, she's not meant to be here at all" she explained.
Hebal paused wiping away the dessert that had escaped onto the side of her face "You samurai could totally use a spear if you didn't spend all your time running about in the heaviest of armour you can find. Although... it does look quite fun to make with all your funny looking shapes and helmets" she giggled.

Satoshi shrugged "You can always use one like a small knife, easy enough to take someome out with just one. That aside I don't look anything special in a kimono, just more covered up and somewhat warmer. Never mind in time you will see that for it is traditional dress at the dragon festival" she stated patting Enkidu's tail.
Felina paused scratching her head "I don't know, I don't remember my uncle much but he in appearence just looked like a younger version of dad with different eyes. Was quite quiet if someone who focused on discipline and order" she answered looking at Elithana to help as she had more experiences.
Elithana nodded "Yeah he was a lot neater and tidier than dad but they got on ok until Zadina's mother got on the scene then it all started going downhill since dad didn't take to her in the slightest. Also I remember he had really high expectations for Kurgan and Zadina that were perhaps a bit over the top" she recalled.

Gil nodded "Yep just thought it would be a more special occasion seeing as you use Kunai more than anything else in your profession, it's not like a special kunai is it?" he asked
Oassu nodded "Well guess that's just how it is but best not to worry about it now" he said sighing and patting his stomach "Still definitely a good meal shame you girls don't have more time to catch up" he said.
Itaka scratched his chin "Wonder why she won't join? Must be a pain having them after you all the time" he said hugging Seph "Hopefully our relationships with demons will be better with time" he said.
Mari giggled "Yah samurai's can totally use spears and bows and all sorts of weapons just that swords are very popular you know, used to have some legendary samurai teams who used bows and spears and stuff." she said

Seph raised an eyebrow in surprise nut hugged Itaka back "Personal pride is what made her refuse and to a degree I understand it. It doesn't help relations by slapping a barcode onto all the demons, sometimes it would be like on faces so impossible to hide. Its... dehumanising when you consider they don't care for yout name, only your numer. It's pretty poor repayment for the services we provided you with in the war... but enough about that or you will get me into a rant if that wasn't already one" she laughed.
Hebal frowned a little "Aww well thats no good fashion weapons. Need to bring folk like that back or at least ones that can use many weapons. Never mind, theres always other dragoons for spear use and some of the other bangaa jobs use them too. Say wouldn't it be so funny if there was a dragoon nu mou out there somewhere" she smirked as the thought first sprung to mind

Satoshi paused scratching her chin "Not really, its just like any other standard kunai unless your from a really rich family where its made of solid gold or platinum or something for show. Plus you're name gets engraved into it. Its meant to be symbolic, like you controling your fate but I'm not going to go into explaining that one as I never really understood it myself"
"Well if I were to stay any longer the airship captain would have a fit since we are already keeping him back and Dysocu would no doubt get mad since he has other stuff that needs doing back home" Elithana answered glancing over at the general who had been snoozing at the table for the last 10minutes.
Felina snickered "Hehe I forgot he gets sleepy if he eats too much food in evenings. But we'll live without the extra time as theres always mognet and stuff to communicate. Plus between now and when she'll be getting married is like no time at all when you have over a millennium to live so not that long until we have to dine again" she pointed out optimistically

Gil nodded "It's special, I guess you must still have it somewhere then" he said stretching his arms "Must be nice to get gifts like that even if it's not especially useful to you" he said.
Oassu nodded frowning at the old man sleeping "Well maybe we should see about getting him home and settling the bill sometime soon then since a few people seem finished already, though I have no doubt Seph would keep us here all night given the opportunity" he added in a whisper.
Itaka nodded "Yeah nevermind it's not an especially good area to talk about, you just dig into your food" he chuckled contemplating on getting some ice cream himself "Not everyday you get a buffet you don't need to pay for after all" he said.
Mari nodded "Uh huh a little nu mou leaping high into the sky" she snickered "Still you can try and train me with the spear, I already have some minor spear training from my brother but he's way better than me with it and the bow" she muttered disgruntled.

Seph scratched her head while stuffing her face with chocolate cake "Hmm.. I thought we might have at least been chipping into the costs but even better if I am wrong since I definitely had my moneys worth" she grinned patting her belly "might be a while before we get more food of this quality"
Hebal nodded her head giggling slightly "Hehe yeahand nu mous are so picky. They absolutely hate getting wet even more so than moogles and they have a fit when dirty. But sure I could show you sometime when not busy cooking and stuff on the magical airship or even tomorrow if you want" she offered.

Satoshi shook her head "Nah, I don't have that kunai anymore, it got lost on a somewhat personal mission and I never managed to find it again but I can always live without. I still have the clothes I got for coming of age though, a little small on the chest but I could still squeeze in ok I think. Excahanging gifts is always a nice thing to do and often the nicest ones are the most useless anyway"
Elithana shrugged "We'll perhaps leave it a little more before paying the bill as I do have some time left to spend but don't worry about Dysocu. He can always do any paperwork on the long trip home and will wake up shortly on his own for he never sleeps for too long during the day/evening"
Felina laughed a little making a sneaky glance at Seph's dessert plate "Hehe yeah you're right, given the choice Seph would just keep eating until she exploded but Hebal isn't that bad and she's still eating. Once she's done eating we will fetch the bill ok?" she decided.

Gil nodded "Yeah sure would be nice to see you in it but I don't think I've actually found out how old you are yet...." he said somewhat embarrassed "would you mind telling me or is it just going to remain a mystery for me?" he chuckled
Oassu nodded "Yeah Seph would never want to leave until closing time I'll bet given the choice but how much paperwork does he really need to do on a trip like this?" he asked.
Itaka nodded stroking Seph's tummy happily "Yeah so you need to eat as much as you can though Mari's cooking is certainly nice not complaining about that but it's nice to get something a little different" he said.
Mari smiled "Sure if I'm not too tired from the tournament then you can but you can easily give Zadina his 'Hebal' training tomorrow while everyone is fighting" she giggled "no doubt this place's interesting architecture could help" she said.

Seph covered her mouth belching in response to her tummy suddenly being rubbed "If you want something different to Mari's cooking then go ask Hayate to make you something or if your lucky I'll cook you something. It may not be my best skill but I can make some really nice noodle dishes I think you would like"
Hebal gasped "Oh no I couldn't go all out in a place like this, the last thing I want is little Zadina falling out of the sky or anything like that but I could teach him the basic stuff I suppose" she explained flicking her ear upright "Wonder how the judges decide which people who qualified get to fight tomorrow, do you reackon theres a big guide book to it?"

Satoshi laughed giving Gil a nudge in the lower arm "You need t pay attention for I did mention before that my 24th birthday was the day after the festival which for now makes me 23 years old. But thats ok, I don't exactly know how old you are... I thought it would be rude to ask"
Elithana rolled her eyes unimpressed by how little work Oassu thought was involved "Theres a lot of paper work involved when an allience is renewed or created. It means some details will need updating so everyone else knows of all the changes of conditions and extra things"
Felina snickered noticing her sisters reaction "Glad I don't have to do all the boring political things. Seph I think will stop eventually... with a little encouragement from Itaka or will get the hint when everyone else is waiting to retire. It's not like they wont let you take things home if you ask very nicely and don't get overly keep anyway" she added debating whether or save something for breakfast.

Gil chuckled rubbing his arm "Alright alright, I'm 31 just so you know, can't have as many adventures as me without going through a few years but 31's not especially old" he shrugged.
Oassu scratched his head "Oh I'd figured just thought that you'd be doing it not Dysocu" he said "So you did manage to set up an alliance then? Despite the new ruler's demands?" he asked.
Itaka smiled slightly as Seph belched "Sure though Mari comes from an oriental village so you'd probably need to be really good to beat her noodles still I'm sure you could whip something good up or we could always bug Hayate for food" he said.
Mari giggled for a moment thinking it was a funny mental picture "Yeah the Gria would probably get all mad at having to dive to pick him up all the time but I'm sure you'll have some good training spots here" she said thinking about Hebal's question "Yeah I guess they would have a big guide book, like with loads of good points they have to tick and loads of bad points then they measure em up...." she concluded.

Seph nodded "Don't judge until you try them, Mari may be from an oriental village but unlike her I have had centuries of experiences to perfect the dishes and some other foods that aren't noodles. Though I have no idea what Hayate can cook or even what desert elf people have to eat that isn't sand but apparently we first need to convince him to do some of the late night/ early morning flying so Alpha can sleep more" she laughed.
Hebal frowned fiddling with her ear determined to stop it from flopping fown again at the tip "There better not be loads of mean and stingy judges looking at your fights tonight. Though if theres loads of high buildings around I can borrow the wall of then I'll have pleanty training materials, especially if theres two close together" she stated trying to form her plot.

Satoshi smiled leaning onto the back legs of her chair "Thats not a particularly old age and I know your not the oldest in the group, both in terms of numbers and physically too. You can see how old Alpha is and Barbaros is probably a little older too since he has kids and things, then Hayate is god knows how old but physically around the same age as you. Anyway you get the point it doesn't matter, you have a great number of achievements in such a short space of time is what I was originally going to say"
Elithana nodded "Yeah we managed to get something signed though it wasn't easy. Had to back down on a few things but so did he and I think we got the better deal in the end out of both sides. But alliences tend to have quite a lot of focus on military so Dysocu needs to cover that bit and someone else will be sorting out things like immigration and trading rule changes when we get home" she explained
Felina groaned "Ugh so much boring hard works like that makes me glad that royals have no obligation to do it themselves unless the king who checks it all over. Meaning you will never have to do anything of the sort when we marry" she assured Oassu
