"Satilite laughed lightly, grinning at her revolt against his comment on winter. "Ah well, to each their own. I'm from the far north so, I guess you could say I like it." He chuckled to himself. Seemed not many wolves liked winter as much as he did. Well, there was Lust, but that was another story entirely. Lust was well....Lust and that was that. He doubted there were many wolves like her and the thought made him grin.
He smiled a toothy one at the name, remembering to file it quite carefully with the her looks. He was not one to forget faces, if anything. "It's a pleasure, Leuin." He wanted to ask her if she was related to the packs here, something just felt so familiar, but there was another task at hand.
"I guess you could say that I'm an informer. My mate and I keep up with Pack rules, expectations, and the like and offer that information to Rogues." He shrugged his shoulders a little, still grinning. "Keeps a wolf from nearly getting his a** beaten like me." He shuddered at the thought, remembering his less than welcoming stumble into Kasanei lands that one winter. Ugh, terrible time. "Anyway, we simply travel about, offering to be helpful. Packs and Rogues alike are free to refuse us."
He looked at her for a moment, cocking his head to the left as if wanting to ask a question of his own. If he were a person, he'd be biting the heck out of his lip right now. His mouth opened, closing shortly there after as he worded it right. But...you don't strike me as a wolf that needs to know much about the Vale. I take it you're a native here? And please forgive me if I should know you... I've been...busy lately. He added the last bit, just for good measure, if he should know her, he'd be very sorry about that. He had, however, neglected to mention the fact that things had been very stressful. He'd not liked keeping up with everything by himself..."
