Samui's turquoise eyes looked up at the green and black elder. He had heard about modifoxes like him, ones that lead these groups called 'Tribes'. No wonder he had scented so many modifoxes. "My intentions were never to attack." He clarified in a soft voice that sounded like wind chimes. "Only to defend . . . I personally don't like attacking others aimlessly. Sorry about the misunderstanding . . ." He straightened up into a snow leopard-like stance. "Where am I anyway?"

Akiko was shocked by the glare the fox gave her. 'At least I know he's not a snow leopard,' she thought. She stood up straight and walked around the bush, still slightly defensive unless the fox still decided to attack. She looked at her grandfather, unsuprised that he had shown up. "You are on the Kousetsu Tribelands," she replied.
Athena laughed as well, able to imagine exactly how her father would probably freak out. "That would be fun, just to see," she replied. "Though he would probably kill us afterwards."
"That's funny," Itsuki said, "I'm in the exact opposite situation. I never have anything to do and I still don't!"

"Snow Tribe?" Samui asked, his head cocked to one side. Obviously a tribe. "Foxes dedicated to the snow . . . " He guessed and looked at the vixen and then back at the Elder. "Sorry about the intrusion, I didn't know . . ."

"Intrusion is how one gets to these lands," Loki chuckled. "It is orgiven, now that we know of your intentions." He cast a look at Kiko, telling her silently that she had no need to be on the defensive. "What brings you here, I wonder?"
"If mother didn't get to us first," Mitsuko snorted. "Loving as she is, she hates seeing dad worried." She could see her parents' individual reactions very clearly in her mind, and it was so terribly amusing. "We should probably go check i nwith them soon."
"We'll just have to fidn something for you to do!" Rae teased. "Though I promise, cosntant business isn't always a great thing. I find it nice to have free time."
((Shi, I know your foxes have a tendecy to gravitate towards violence somewhere down the line. I'm not going to say Samui can't join, obviously, but you need to make sure that doesn't happen to him.))

((Yes, I know XD Samui's anything but violent ^w^ At this moment, though, he's just a little . . . tense. He'll get over it very soon))
Samui's lips curved up into a smile. "Actually, I ventured down from the mountains to come join my own kind. Didn't work out so well in the beginning." He said with a little rueful chuckle. "I've been in the snow only, not going out farther than where the snow dies though. I enjoy the cold weather." His eyes once again scanned the surroundings. "How large is this tribe? I scented a large amount of other modifoxes here . . ."

Prints lay softly in the cold snow. An albino figure hid under it, not feeling the slightest bit of cold under her massive fur. Snow stared at the foxes that had gathered, staring down at a leopard male that had wandered onto the tribe's land. Like herself too. As always she was careful of introducing herself.
The cornflower eyes stuck out, widen at the large elder that had come and appeared near the male. Snow breathed in and out as she carefully stood up and shook herself free of the snow. Padding closer the albino female braced herself, "Um... Hello."

Akiko laughed at the question, visibly less tense. "You have no idea how big our tribe is," she said. "I barely know and I was born here!" Akiko turned to the albino fox that just showed up. "Hello," she said politely.
Athena nodded, turning to head back toward the lake. Also imagining her mother's reaction. She sniffed the air. "There are two new foxes around," she announced.
Itsuki laughed. "Constant business... sounds quite horrible, actually," she said.

"I could list them all for you, but I'll spare you the pain and say htere are well over thirty members," Loki laughed. "The snow is more popular than one would think." He glanced up at the white fox, finally able to put a face to the fox he had sensed several days ago. "There's no need to be afraid," he remarked casually. "None of us will hurt you."
Mitsuko was aware; she had probably sensed them at the same time as her twin. "I imagine Loki is with them already," she chuckled. "He has an uncanny ability to locate newcomers quickly." Her mind strayed back their parents, wondering how they were faring.
To say that Remus was worried was an understatement. It came with his nature, this natural inclination to worry, and even though he knew his daughters were adults, he couldn't help but think the worst.
In fact, he was thinking about going out and finding them himself.

Athena nodded, but, like her sister, her mind was far from what they were discussing. She, too, couldn't help but wonder whether or not their parents were happy with them being out so long.
Umiko sighed. Her daughters were still out and around the huge tribelands and Remus was worrying. She hoped they would come back soon, if not for their own saftey, for there may be no danger at all, then at least because she hated it when her mate worried.

Sachio decided to let alone the two females, and went to lay beneath a nearby tree. He lazily began to bathe himself, beginning with his front paws.
Lysi watched Sachio leave, then returned her gaze to Echo. The other female had not answered her, and instead of prodding her, she politely let her gaze wander over the other foxes of the tribe.

"Ok.." Her cautious voice was still acting in, Snow had always been taught to be careful when meeting a group of foxes so large like this. The albino sat down and started licking her paws; almost as a cat would do. She always knew to keep herself clean, even in front of public. "Oh, um hello." Snow said, snapping her attention to Athena.

((Sorry all. I've been away from you for too long!
Anyways. Things have been going slow since before I left, so....
LET'S DO THE THE TIME WARP AGAINNNNN!
Winter is approaching, and things are about to be even harder than usual on the Kousetsu Tribe. At this moment in time, all members are preparing for themselves for a blizzard at any point. All potential members have been accepted, though it's up to their owners if they have been accepted socially yet. And remember everyone, breedings aren't that far off, so it's time for your distant foxes to reunite! XD))
