((Okay, that's fine. You don't have to stay if you don't want to.))
Dream nodded. "He does seem to consider himself more powerful than any of us... which he might very well be, but I wouldn't dwell on it. And yeah, Holly, I think you're right. I was able to feel a little bit myself, and I'm not very good at sensing magic around me unless I really try to."
He placed his hand above Leila's head. "Okay, I think I'm ready now. Let's see what I can do..." Closing his eyes, he let the power flow through him, and the familiar blue sparks and green light entered into Leila, targeting and mending first the areas that had physical injury, then any other area that pained her. The miniature light display ended in about 20 seconds, but there was no way of telling exactly how well it worked without asking her. "All done. How do you feel?"

"Better, and a bit...strange. I've never felt nor seen that kind of energy before....but thank you." Leila gave Dream a gentle hug, the first moment of physical contact she had ever had with him. "Thank you all of you," she said as she released herself from the hug, glancing at the others. It was a shame that Violet couldn't be among them, but that was how life went sometimes...

He accepted the hug, and hugged her back. Smiling, he looked at Haucon, giving him sort of a "I know she's yours and I'm not doing anything" look. Turning back to Leila, he replied to her. "I'm glad you're feeling better, then, Leila. And it's my duty to help you, you don't have to thank me." He sighed happily. Life was looking good for a change.

Holly watched the light show with interest and gave a soft laugh at Dream's face to Haucon.
In response to Leila's thanks, Holly smiled, "I'm certain we'd all do the same thing for anyone."

misswho Violet rustled her wings a little, the glow of her emerald eyes flashing back into existance. "As well as can be i suppose." she replied calmly, refusing to say his title out of principle. She'd been hunted for several years and had no intention of trusting anyone blindly just yet. Looking up at him she tried not to dwell on how close they were. "How did the talk with them go?" she asked, her voice quiet and curious. In front of Steffen she couldn't help feeling like a child again, she hadn't seen a seriously strong demon since before her parents deaths. Steffen took a moment to smooth out his odd suit's front, nonchalantly replying with a: " About as well as any conversation with the light sided, completely a waste of time. But I find myself wondering why it is you had joined them..." The demon traced a curved tooth with his pinkish tongue, shaking his head slightly. He was longing for human flesh, for the subsidence of this world that would quell his hunger for a short time. " But it matters little, you have returned to the darkness, Unlike our traitorous kindred." For the span of a minute Steffen looked lost in his own mind, forgetting about his company. Such an odd group they were...Such a strange mixing of creatures. He wondered if there was any way he could use it to his advantage. The demon set his jaw as he thought, remembering how the Angel had seemed bothered by his presence. It was a thought he relished, Any harm, any amount of suffering he could inflict upon those winged rats would be a small victory against the burden he carried in his breast pocket. "And you-" Steffen returned to the woman before him, his eyes settling on her face. "- Have you found any articles of light? Destroyed any souls my dear?" Again Steffen moved a bit closer, unblinking as he stared at the demoness who sat before him. There was a smile playing on his lips now, but it was shortly gone. ( ya know... I can't help but think about how frikken creepy my character is....)

((Sorry, i've been away for a while and only just got back lol. Yes your character is creepy, but thats brilliant hehe. xd Keep it up!))
Violet nodded as he mentioned the lack of progress. It was a shame they couldn't see sense, they could all be pretty useful in a tight spot. "I only joined them because it was the most logical thing to do at the time. How else do you think i survived for so long when higher up's in hell want my head?" she questioned, a chill in her voice as she responded. She too seemed a little distant, her green eyes seeing everything but not taking it in. Standing up she gave him what was obviously a very sarcastic bow. "I thought i had picked up something, but then Dream started to convert the dark angel, after that the traces of energy became impossible to trace. The light was too strong." she replied. He was uncomfortably close, she could feel the emotions in him and it was driving her crazy. She couldn't step away though, that would be like admitting defeat.

Liam watched in guilt as Dream healed Leila; he was the one who caused her wounds in the first place. He looked down at the ground where his scythe was laying, glaring at it with betrayal. He could've fought harder against the darkness, at least enough not to fight back. He wouldn't care if he was wounded, he had done such things to himself in the past and he only healed. So when he looked upon the weapon that had blood from Leila's hands on it, he took it up in his hands and slipped around the corner. He didn't want to leave the group altogether, he only wanted to be out of sight so that he could clean off the blade. He sat with his back against a building's exterior wall, and used one of his bandages to rub the dark crimson stain off of the scythe, frowning with every stroke. When it was thoroughly clean, he set it beside him and sighed, looking up at the dark sky.
But, before he could even think of anything clearly, he caught climpse of a movement in his peripheral vision, and turned to see a stray cat sitting ten yards away from him, staring at him with abnormally green eyes. Liam's eyes narrowed when he caught the shimmer of light, and then he was frozen. What would he do? This cat was obviously not normal, and it had a light glowing around it like an aura. Was this one of the objects that the demon had informed them to kill? That was the only explanation he could think of and before he knew it he found himself getting up from the ground and walking carefully towards the cat, leaving his weapon on the ground. The cat took off down a turn in the alley, and Liam followed. A couple turns later and they had come upon a dead end, and the cat sat right at the wall, almost as if it had been waiting for Liam to come and snatch it up. But Liam only knelt beside it and cautiously stroked it's fur, after a while he just sat and took it in his lap. He really didn't know why he was acting this way, for affection wasn't something that came easily to Liam, but it was something that he'd always wanted.

Dream nodded. "We all try to help each other. It's how we are. Speaking of which, I had to help Liam, I think." He turned around to Liam... who was not there. That was odd. "Um, guys... where's Liam? He was just here a second ago."

Holly blinked as she realized the same thing. With a glance around, she cocked her head as she looked in the direction that Liam had slipped off in.
"Dream... I sense a fairly strong source of light coming from that direction. Do you think Liam might have gone that way?"

Leila had seen Liam pick up his scythe and walk away, but said nothing. He was probably feeling guilty for what had happened between then, even though she didn't hold it against him. It would be something he wanted to deal on his own, she assumed, as he had dealt with everything else by himself in his life. What he didn't know was that he now had friends who would help him through this. Leila, unfortunately, was too tired to go after him now. She could point to the alley, however, for Dream and the others to find him.

Dream nodded to Holly. "You might be right. Your senses of magic are a lot better than mine, I'll let you track it down." He looked at Leila as she pointed it out. "And if Leila's confirming it, then we should go get him. Can you lead the way, Holly? Lelia looks tired, maybe we should let her rest here with Haucon."

"A decision most benifitting a demon." Steffen chuckled, deciding he indeed would keep this demoness around. " Taking what is useful to you at the time. Never fear my kin, the lord of fire and brimstone rewards those who serve him...And if not a small bit of persuasion can be used." He hinted at the chance of treachery on thier part and watches to see how she would react. They were 'Ambitious' demons after all. When she stood, he continued to trace her figure with the hungry eyes that would soon be searching for food once more.
"As for what was lost...It matters little at the moment. When all is said and done it will be found and destroyed." He grinned devilishly, this smile suiting his personality. " Dear dear sister...How would you like to hunt an angel?" Steffen blinked his bright eyes once, shifting his gaze skyward now. " One of those winged rats is a source of the light aura no doubt. I think it's best if we rid ourselves of that vermin early on." He raised his eyebrows as if asking if she indeed was being asked rather than subliminally ordering.

Holly nodded agreement with Dream. "Leila, don't overexert yourself, okay? Rest."
She turned towards the alley that Leila had pointed down and she had sensed the energy from. She began to fly down it slowly, following her senses.

Dream followed her, using his power of Air (which was by now completely restored) to keep himself caught up with her. He watched as she tracked the source of light. She's pretty good with magic, definatley way better than I am with light. And she can sense the magic too... There's someone I definately would like to have by my side in times of peril. He continued following her, not speaking lest he distract her senses.
