Hiya! New member, thankies for acceptance and all. 3nodding
Niiiice guild, I particularly like your nu metal policy... ;P
One note that caught my attention, is that you explicitly state no nu metal threads. Does this mean that we can't dedicate at least one thread to discussing why nu metal isn't metal, what makes it such a travesty, just to vent some hatred etc etc?

I am alive!
Just wanted you guys to know that I might not be on much tommorow either,my brother's visiting and he's cool,so I'm spending some time with him.
Also,my birthday is this week I believe...So I might not be on either.One things for sure,after August 1st,I'll be on as much as possible.

In reality, I'd imagine most members would agree that nu-metal isn't metal. Anti nu-metal threads spend most of their time trying to convince the blind to see, to my mind, which I'd have to agree is a waste of time. Btw, thanks for that Trex. Heheh, your welcome.
I consider myself a Nu-Metal fan because I like Static-X, Murderdolls, Slipknot, Korn & Linkin Park. I used to think it was a genre of Metal but now I think its a completely new genre on its own!
Are Murderdolls Nu-Metal because I always considered them as moden-day Heavy Metal. I also considered Slipknot as modern-day Death Metal.

Trex, if you want death metal, check out Kataklysm, but no, Slipknot aren't even close to death metal. They are nu-metal, just they have grindcore and other infleunces. xp
Murderdolls are also nu-metal. They have a more punky sound to them aswell, but they are in no way heavy metal. Heavy metal are bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Hellion etc.....not Murderdolls. >_<
