Asherah was finally beginning to wake up from her nap after healing up Rain. And low and behold, everyone was still in a hustle 'n' bustle mood. Lifting her head a bit, she rubbed her eyes, fixed her top and ordered a new orange juice.

"Cold please." The gnome handed it to her. "Thank you hun."

Spinning around on her seat to take a look at the crowd, she noticed a rather lonely looking creature. She looked to be a rabbit given her ears were showing. In any case, Asherah got up, walked over, and smiled at her.

"Is this seat taken miss?" Asherah chimed as she set her drink on the table. "You seemed a wee tad lonely, thought I might be of some conversation." A hand reached out towards the girl. "My name is Asherah, call me Ash."

Madison looked at the new woman who had approached her, and then to her hand. It was strange to receive such an offer. Especially considering that she had never met the girl, but she was pretty sure that she had seen her somewhere before. The rabbit had then noticed the seat beside her, it was in fact very vacant and open, so she guessed there was no harm with allowing her to sit beside her.

"Oh, it's free. Please have a seat." She offered very kindly and made sure there was enough room for the girl to sit. Madison always hated being rude, expecially when someone was being ever so polite. Smiling she took the blue haired woman's hand and shook it, she never quite knew what this ever met. But she always saw people do it, very strange habit's people have.

"My name is Madison, or just Madi." Madison smiled even more widely, it was nice to have her own name. It was nice to be addressed as human, that was something she didn't get a lot considering that she was well...different than most humans that she knew.

"So what brings you to the Firebrand, here for some fun?" Madison did not realize how inappropriate that may have sounded, whether Ash would be offended or not would be an entirely different story. But she only remained smiling, cause that's what she did.

"It's nice to meet'cha Madi." Ash took a small sip from her cup. "Ohh you know, just here on a whim, there's nothing really to do these days before Heaven or Hell, or seeing a loved one. Plus, the orange juice is really yummy here for some reason."

Asherah stopped to rub her eyes once more.

"I wonder what all this commotion is about, do you know Madi?"

Scarker had to admit, the fight certainly amused him. The Indian seemed to have a great advantage over the Japanese man, and the mage just loved watching someone have their a** handed to them. The fact that he also got to enjoy the sight of someone being thrown into the tavern and then back out of it by someone else was simply priceless.

But back to business.

The mage hadn't moved much from his table. Occasionally he would walk over to the bar to get a drink, he seemed to be enjoying different types of daiquiris for the time being, and then go back to his seat. His swords had been moved from the floor next to his chair to the tabletop after his last trip. A finger was slowly searching the edge of the first of his simple, custom blades. He knew that he didn't have to, nothing interesting had happened to them for weeks, but since he was getting bored, he might as well do something.

Insert text describing being thrown back out the window. =(

Jiro slowly pushed his form up. Coughing up sand. This was madness. He was being manhandled. Pathetic. Needless to say, his ego was humbled. And his confidence took a hit.

However, he stood. Still, the man was unwilling to give up. Wobbly, his form remained verticle. Sand slipping through the fingers of his left fist once again. Eyes nearly unfocused.

There was no telling how many injuries he had right now, but, alas, Jiro would not be put down.

"So that's where I've seen you!" It finally clicked, Madison had seen Asherah and her team fighting rather well in the HOH tournament that had just passed. It was rather impressive.

"You were in HOH, I watched you fight! You did rather well!" She was sounding like an avid fangirl. Next thing you know she maybe asking for autographs. Smiling, she continued on with the conversation.

"I have no idea..." That was a lie, Madi knew exactly what was going on. For no matter how low they were talking, she was still able to hear them as clear as a bell. Although it maybe considered odd, it wasn't for her, considering that her snow white rabbit ears were able to pick up every sound. Some days it was a blessing to have, but other days it was just a curse. Especially when you had a headache, then it was the pits. Luckily for her, she didn't have to deal with a head ache at that particular point in time.

Deitric offered a slight wave of his hand to Athan before turning about to wander back out to the front of the establishment. Jiro had managed to rise, despite the punishment he'd taken. By now, the man's steadiness must've been dubious - how much longer would he last?

The tribesman [not an Indian D<] came to a stop in front of Jiro, standing about five feet away from the man. He held his hands down at his side calmly, palms open as he tried to gauge whether or not Jiro would be able to continue the fight.

"So sure you want to continue?" he asked, watching the man warily.

Asherah giggled before she took another sip from her up, one eye opened slowly as she heard the little hare speak, then closed shortly after. It wasn't a complete idea she just had at that moment, but she'd go with it for the hell of it. Asherah then tipped the cup bottoms up before setting it down to pursue that said thought.

"Ahh..." A small burp interrupted her sentence. "Pardon me. But are you sure that you don't know?" It was time to play a few little mind games. "It's just that you sounded unsure of yourself when you said it... And what with those cute ears you have, I imagine you hear quite a bit." Asherah tilted her head gently. "Hmm?"

Madison looked up at her ears to see that they had been twitching do to the amount of sound that had been entering her ears. She had then smiled rather shyly, and nodded at her.

"I'm not entirely sure, but they are talking about a war." She nodded at her and then finally it hit her, she had forgotten about her mission for a moment and decided to that it was maybe time for her to go back to work. After all, Lady Reiyvian would not be very impressed with her.

"I'm sorry, I have to ask. Do you know where I could find someone by the name of Sunstrike? I'm supposed to get in contact with him." She was terribly shy when asking about this, but she had no idea who else she was supposed to turn too, and this woman seemed nice.

After asking she could only happen to think of back at the Stadium with Lord Shin. The pain that he had felt when he said that she needed to separate from him once again. It looked as though it practically tore him apart, and for that matter it did the same to her. She wish she understood what was going on inside her heart, she really did. But it only seemed to pain her as she continued to think about it. Perchance, it was time to think about something else.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 15, 2008 7:34 pm

"A war huh? Hmm. Isn't that something." It even worried her a little bit. "And Sunstrike? I was just talking with him...before.. I passed out. Heh. But he should be around here. Unless he left when I napped. I'm pretty sure he's still here."

Asherah lip her lip a bit and stood up on her chair to look for Sun, the room was just a little more crowded now, so it was harder for the short gal to see.

"Uhhhh...." Asherah hopped down and ended a poor, innocent, unsuspecting ants life that was just carrying back the spoils of battle with a rather large beetle. Her battle was brutal and long, move after move the beetle would come back and kill another sister. This is of course before this very dead ant launched a clod of dirt, the equivalent to a Nuclear warhead at the beetle, thus finally blasting off it's head and exposing the prized meat. Not more than a split second after Asherah killed it however, she sat back down. And she would never had known the great heroic ants life she had just ended with the sole of her shoe.

"Did you try calling for him hun?"

She blinked at the suggestion. Calling him? Well that was an idea that she never even thought of. Finally, she shook her head shyly which caused her ears to flop down and cover her face.

"...No." She was really embarrassed now. Finally, she moved her ears away from her face and tried a little.

"Sunstrike?" It was ever so soft and faint, Ash probably didn't even hear what she said either. It didn't help that her ears were over her face. How embarrassing.

She heard it alright, goodness she was a cute one. However, Asherah didn't think that Sun would hear it. Clearing her throat, Asherah took a deep breathe and let it loose.

"SUNSTRIKE, ARE YOU HERE?!"

Such strong pipes for a shorty.

"IF SO, I HAVE SOMEONE HERE THAT WISHES TO SPEAK WITH YOU. PLEASE COME ASAP. THANK YOU."

It was quiet now, and everyone was looking at Ash. Well not everyone, but a good deal of them. She had only one thing to say in response.

"What?"

Madison blinked three times for a moment, she had no clue what to even say. This girl was crazy, she couldn't even describe it. It was just weird. The strange woman had even caused Madi's ear to ring due to the yelling. After all, close range screaming tends to cause some damage.

"Ouchie." She held her ear for a moment, waiting for the ringing to stop. Talk about painful.

Turning to Madison, Asherah gasped gently and waved her hands in the air a bit.

"Oh god! I'm so sorry! Hurk!" She screeched to a halt to whisper. "I mean. Sorry. Are your ears okay?"

Asherah gently and cautiously reached up to touch the bunnies ears in an attempt to quell their pain. Her pointer finger was the first to reach, then the rest.

"Here, can I make them better for you?"

Sunstrike
"Hell boyo, it wasn't even supposed to start like this, let alone end."

Turning back towards the bar, the woman stayed silent, but the words she mouthed for nobody to see were clear. "But it was supposed to start, wasn't it." In a way she was glad that she didn't say it out loud. After all, there was no point in re-opening old wounds. They were to work together now, not fall apart when it was most crucial. She let Sun continue to speak.

Sunstrike
"Dad's have a way of saying things like that at stupid moments."

Now, she added a voice to her words. "My father convinced me he was dead for some fifteen years. I'm not a genius or nothin', but I figure anyone who can pull that off has to have some sage advice now and again... the ol' b*****d...."

As Sun order his drinks, Sakura found that she had drank quite enough of the bland amber liquid in front of her, electing instead to lean back against the bar and face outward towards the greater restaurant area of the Firebrand.

Sunstrike
"I'll do the best I can for ya, though I don't know where to begin. Never was good at introductions..."

Sakura snorted suddenly, as if to hold back a laugh.

"Then you'd better learn to start writing novels, and fast. If you don't, then I will. And I think we both know what happens when I get to writing the story."
