Mistress_forgotten Aly held her cellphone just under the table and stared at the text message. She knew it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. She was surprised that Carter had sent her the message in the first place. He would probably get into in deep trouble if anyone found out about it, and with the way phone messages could be traced and bugged... She let out an irritated sigh and stuffed her cellphone back into her pocket. That idiotic goon. She thought with affection. He's too nice. He better NOT get into trouble for this or I'll be racked with guilt. She looked back up into her book, even though she wasn't reading. Sheesh. Where can I go if not back to my apartment? Snapps walked up to her table with a grin, "hey there, glad to be seein you're alive, Ms. Ally. Anythin' I can get for you? A drink or somethin'? An' if you're in trouble like most of us are, we got some bunks down in the lower level. It's a good place to stay, if anything."

She grinned back at him. "Hey there Snapps. I'll have a-- wait. Did you say that I could stay in the lower level?" Her face lit up revealing her thought. Is Snapps a mind reader? "As a matter of fact Snapps, I do need a temporary place to stay."

Mistress_forgotten She grinned back at him. "Hey there Snapps. I'll have a-- wait. Did you say that I could stay in the lower level?" Her face lit up revealing her thought. Is Snapps a mind reader? "As a matter of fact Snapps, I do need a temporary place to stay." Snapps nodded, "course you do, so does every super come in here, the list was let out, they got names, apartments are bein' raided. Heh, even my name's prob'ly out there."

Mistress_forgotten "Awww, you're the best Snapps!" She beamed a smile at him. She tucked the book under one arm, and hooked her other arm through Snapps'. "Lead the way!" She said happily, even though her present situation was rather grim than cheery. Aly refused to let that put a downer on the rest of her day. "Always charmin' up this old man," he chuckled, and headed down the stairs, "well the first door on the right is for storage, that one three down from it is armory an the like. And across from armory, the next three doors are the bunks. The communal bathroom is one down. But, I'll be tellin' you a quick secret. Instead of waitin, you can always run up to the club an' use the main bathrooms."

She grinned. "Thanks for tip kind sir. My bladder greatly appreciates it." She looked around, particularly at the armory door. "What kind of stuff you got in there?" She tapped the door with her foot.

Mistress_forgotten She grinned. "Thanks for tip kind sir. My bladder greatly appreciates it." She looked around, particularly at the armory door. "What kind of stuff you got in there?" She tapped the door with her foot. The door swung open, having not been closed properly, inside were guns, some protective armor, a case of smoke bombs, and some minor explosives. Snapps shrugged, "an that's the kinda stuff we got in there."

She grinned and skipped happily over to the crate. Squatting beside the crate, she began rummaging through the items with glee. Wow! Some of these daggers are really pretty. What a find!. She lifted each dagger up and examined it carefully, testing the balance and weight as well as the shape and craftmanship. She picked out 10 and turned to look at Snapps. "Is it ok if I take these ones?" She wondered if she had to pay for them.
