Xol turned his gaze to Kaiori and looked her over. Everything looked to be normal, breathing, heart rate, physical appearance was good.
"She looks ok, but to be sure I'm taking you both back to my Keep. You need serious medical attention...c'mon." He moved over to Than and slid him onto his left shoulder. With a soft groan, he stood up and moved over to Kai, doing the same except placing her over his right shoulder.
Before leaving, Xol walked over and picked up the severed arm and dissapeared into a plume of black mist back to his Keep.

".....ugh...."
*Terr slowly raised to his feet as he began open his eyes. The gem seemed to have worked for now. As he stretched his body, he caught a wiff of a rather unfriendly scent.*
"Xol!...."
*Terr's eyes roared with life as his teeth glistened with hatred.*
*He turned in the direction from which the scent was strongest and ported outside before raising from the ground and shooting towards the cave*
"I'll kill you."

Using his left hand,the man started to write a letter.He gently lay an attractive gem atop it to hold it down as he swiftly wrote.When he finished he'd leave there.Kai might find it when she came back,or might never read it.He shrugged as he wrote it,at least he knew his words were out there.The letter read:
Dear Kaiori,
I don't quite know how to apologise..I...can't.I've dealt with things badly...and furthermore...I...hurt you.I hurt you in more then one way and I hate myself for it.I'm going to go away for a bit,but I'll be back I promise.Best of luck to you in all you do,and wish the best to Than for me.It's good to see you're getting better..just don't let them make you forget.
PS: Keep up your work on the garden.It looks great.

Nodding that the letter was indeed good,he quickly left.Where he went wasn't to be known,but he'd of course come back.Until then,he had a lot of work to be getting to.Work that couldn't be interupted by his foolish outbreaks of jealousy or rage...or whatever drove him to act how he did.
He took one last look around,with a sigh.Knowing Kai would clean the mess...robbing her of more strength she needed.He was indeed a monster,but he could at least free them of him for a bit.And so he did,vanishing he went to his destination.To begin the long and grueling work that awaited him.

*Than appeared where he had been when Xol took him to the Keep. After regaining his orientation, Than carefully laid Kai on a clean couch on her side, since he had to sit her down and then lay her on her side due to his lack of a second arm. He looked at the mess. Blood and bullet casings adorned the furniture and floor. Not wasting time, Than got up and went about picking up all the bullet casings and discarding them. Next, he finds Kai's cleaning reagents under the sink and gets to work for the next hour or so cleaning up blood stains. Then he puts the materials away and walks back into the room, finally taking the time to contemplate himself and the loss of his limb and eye. With his lack of real rest, he collapses by Kai, on the floor right by her couch. He was out like a light, and easy to step on or prod if not careful. Than was in an empty sleep; no pain, no dreams, no feeling at all*

*Terr walked through the door and gazed to where Kaiori lay and Thanatos, collapsed beside her on the floor. He decides not to disturb them and pulls up a chair and sits down, waiting for one of them to awake*

*Than groaned as he started to come to, pushing himself up a bit before falling back over. He'd forgotten he was missing an arm now* ~_~ nnn.....

A soft yawn escaped from the reincarnate as he strolled through the woods.It had taken very little of his time to reach the house,and now that he looked at it he felt slightly nostalgic.As he had told Kai,he'd be away for awhile.Sighing softly,he wondered if maybe just a little visit might be too much.Chances are it would be,and so he was content to simply have seen it one last time again before leaving.Tapping the container that held the makings of his keep thoughtfully he grinned.Everything was in the works.As he vanished,a slight giggle could be heard.
