"Ah yes, I was hoping to surprise you, dearie. You've been working hard all day, why not rest? They came out with a new dish today, you might like it." Nikolai shrugged before turning back to the delivery boy.
"One large specialty pizza." the man announced until he got a good look at the owner of the house. "Heh, I knew I recognized this address." he smirked, his stance immediately changing to a more relaxed and confident one. "How've you been, Mr. Byko? You hadn't called in a while. I was beginning to think you forgot all about me." he chuckled. The look in his eyes made it look like he was talking about something entirely different than the pizza place.
"Oh dearie, how could I forget a face like that?" Nikolai purred as he reached out to caress the delivery boy's cheek, who leaned against the touch.
The young man closed his eyes for a second then lightly grabbed the hand against his face, leaning a little closer to Nikolai. "You know I'll be needing a tip." he whispered.
Nikolai moved closer himself, grinning as he saw the man's eyes become shaded. "I bet you will~" His back arched teasingly and his eyelids lowered as he felt the boy's shaky breath. His hand slid out of the sweaty palm and playfully crawled down the man's chest until it was at the pizza box. His grin turning mischievous, Nikolai pulled away with his dinner in hand and closed the door after giving the dumbfounded man a sly wink. "And that, dearie, is how you get out of paying a tip." Nikolai grinned at Leon, holding up the pizza victoriously.

Nikolai reeled back when Leon exploded. He knew the man would get angry, but he didn't expect this! The Sin reached out to try to reason with the man when his last comment struck him like a slap. "What was that?" he asked, eyes flaring. "What was that you just did? A tantrum? Why is that, dearie? Because I do what I always do? You know I do that to everyone and now you're bothered by it? If we're bringing up our ravishing deaths then why don't I add mine, hmm? Why was it I died, again, Leon? Oh yes, that's right, because of you. Not a hormonal teenage boy that's making a living by driving around greasy food! Or are you angry because your darling dinner doesn't get to be touched?" Nikolai assumed. He lowered his arms to his side, clenching his fists as he glared at Leon. "No, dearie, you don't have to worry about that. You and your precious daughter can have it. You two seem to share just about everything!"

Nikolai grabbed Leon's pointing hand and shoved it away from him. "How dare you." he growled. "I was under the assumption that there was no other way to bring you back. What was I supposed to do, dearie? Tell me. Was I to lock myself in my home and mourn your death? Or maybe I should have opened a book and done all I could to try and convince people that hate the very sight of me to bring you back to life? I did the only thing I knew, and you knew that. How dare you try to make it sound like I never cared. And while we're on the topic of caring, let's return to your darling little princess, hmm? Yes, I'm not the center of attention anymore. In fact, I barely have your attention at all! This argument we're having right now is more than we've had for a week! I've tried my damnedest to put up with it all because I know how much she means to you, but just how much do I mean to you now, hmm?" He took a step back, concealed feelings in his green eyes. "Apparently not much."

Unfortunately, Nikolai's anger wasn't as willing to go away. "Doubting you? You can't honestly be serious." he scoffed as he moved his arm out of Leon's reach. "Need I remind you that it was you that started this argument? I know full well how you feel about me, but it looks like it isn't the other way around." There was a silent minute, then Nikolai turned around. "I'm going out. Throw away the pizza if you want, I'm not hungry anymore." A purple fog swirled around his legs as he opened the door, and as soon as he closed it he was gone.

"Not very." Aysun mumbled as she sat on the counter top, staring dully at the spoon she was handed earlier. She had heard the entire fight, it wasn't hard with how loud they got. She didn't look too bothered by it, but that was because she was used to these scenarios with her biological parents. Still, she couldn't avoid what half of the topic they argued about was. Was she tearing them apart? Were they unhappy because she was here?

"Yes..." she admitted quietly, staring at the ground instead of at Leon. "Am I the reason you both keep getting mad at each other?"

But she wasn't fully convinced. "Does Uncle Nikki not like me?" she hiccuped, feeling tears pool in her eyes and her shoulder shudder with hidden sobs.

Aysun cried anyway. She cried for a solid ten minutes and hiccuped and grunted afterwards. Leon and Nikolai were great guardians. She had spent less than half a year with them and already they were ten times better than her parents! She didn't want them to become just like them, always arguing to the point where she'd wonder if today was the day they left for good.
