Special was on the verge of hyperventilating from the excitement. Her fan could shoot lasers! Those would certainly be more effective against robots than her traditional poison darts. Flicking out her fan and pointing it at a random point on the wall, Special concentrated on imagining a laser shooting from her fan. After a few seconds, a bright blue beam shot out of one of the blades of the fan and hit the metal wall. It left a big scorch mark where it hit the wall. Special looked wide-eyed at the spot.

"Other than 7 independent laser canons and being able to be recalled now if you throw it? It's super tough and can be used to cut a lot of things, not to mention if you are quick enough it could probably stop light bullet fire...as well as be a good melee shield. I can't imagine much more I'd want with a flying death machine."

Special gazed at her new-and-improved fan in awe. She couldn't wait to try it out. Filled with enthusiasm, Special tossed the fan into the air. It arced across the room, sliced through several thin metal poles, and returned to Special's hand. "This is like the deadliest boomerang fan ever!" shouted Special excitedly.

Dalia marveled in the joy of her work. "That's what the military wanted us to learn most, adaptability. When they knew it would be a new metal age, they made sure we could use what we'd find, and I'm lucky to have learned it. That knowledge is what kept me alive no matter what." She truly was proud of it's power, and still very envious of that alloy. Oh, she'd make sure to grab some on the way out and at least fit her scythe into a tougher trouble make(or problem solver). "I'll make you a good set of complimenting armor when we get back to Ace's shop if you'd like, heck, anyone who wants it. I think between Ace and I all of that crew could make for one force to be reckoned with."

Dalia's words stirred something inside of Special. She could picture all of them, dressed in this armour that Dalia spoke of, fighting the robots. She had always hated robots and now she was presented a chance to try and destroy them. They would form an epic team that would fight the robot menace. Hope had returned to Special, forcing the negative thoughts that had plagued her mind to flee. Overcome with her newfound feelings, Special embraced Dalia and said, "Thank you! Thank you so much!"

Special looked towards the battle that she had been practically ignoring and spotted Daemon immediately. She did not cower in fear this time. Instead, rage filled her mind as she remembered everything that Daemon had put her through. Special brandished her improved fan and said, "I'm ready to fight."
