Taranis stared at her for a moment. Artnfact? What was one of those? He looked down at the painbrush, tilting his head slightly, a...Brush thing? Was that what an artnfact was? "Whuts an autn...fact?" he asked hoping he didn't sound too stupid not knowing what one was and all...Also if that was an artnfact how come he didn't have one as well? There was so many things he needed to learn. Yakobi gave a nod. "Yeah just a few days ago." The girl smiled, she had been so excited when he had changed. "Taranis is a messenger."

The even more confused Aerandir girl stared at him when trying to come up with an answer. When unexperienced volcabulary failed her, she merely mumbled, "Ev-wee-won has won." She just couldn't explain it. Her tail twitched as she continued surveying him before she suddenly reacted in an unexpected manner. "O well, Fae has tu take mi home now...bye!" she quickly fled behind Fae after flashing him a nervous smile.
Fae was grinning for Yakobi. "For awhile, I almost thought that that was what Pueblo was going to be--Oh, she was cut short when Pueblo suddenly took her hand and tugged on it.
"I'm tyrud," she fibbed and tugged gently on her guardian's hand.
Patting Pueblo on the head, she noded and hadn't suspected the lie in such a young Aerandir. "Well it was so nice seeing you and Taranis again. It looks like they got to know each other a little better, too," she smiled. "Good luck in your parenthooding. Abby's tired, so we should get going. But we'll see you around!" she waved goodbye and walked the anxious-to-get-out-of-here-girl home.

Glancing about himself, Kiro wandered into the Centre - this time not aimlessly as usual, but with a specific task in mind. He had a small bag with him, and inside he had all the items that had been on Tsukai's 'list' - the things that would help him grow.
It seemed almost a shame in a way, the wisp had started to get used to his new form - but it was best to get this over with sooner rather than later, Kiro had decided. He wanted the old mischevious Tsu back.
With perhaps a little more caution than he really needed, Kiro approached Alyosha's door, knocking in the hope he'd be around. Kiro'd not seen much of him lately. Tsukai murbled quietly as he hovered around Kiro's shoulder, resisting the urge to pop straight through the door.

Alyosha looked up as the knock came at the door. He had been filling in an inordinately large form with a frown on his face and tried to look a little more bright as he got up. He put down his pen, staggered to his feet and walked towards the door, pulling it open widely. "Ahh, Kiro, hello" he said, smiling. "What can I do for you today?"

Kiro couldn't help but blink a little as the door was pulled open. But then he offered a quiet smile of his own. He indicated the bag he had with him, the jingle bell ringing somewhere in its depths. "We've got everything from the list you gave us..." he said, smiling a little more easily as Tsu murbled in agreement, zipping about impatiently.

"Oh I see, I see" he said, stepping to one side. "You'd better come in and sit down then, Kiro, you're about to witness something not many scholars have seen... I'm sure you'll appreciate that more than most". He smiles more truly now, thinking of the boys passion for study.
He walked back into the room himself, sitting down at the low table and carefully placing his notes to one side. He capped his pen and waited for Kiro to settle himself down.

Nodding a little as Alyosha spoke, Kiro followed him, also sitting at the low table and bringing up the bag he had with him. With a slightly reserved air, he started to take things out of the bag, the lighter things - like Rahujo's feather, the pieces of leather Yakobi had given him, and the ribbon from Fae - being at the top and so coming out first. Then came the middling and heavier things, like Chao's jingle bell, the beads he'd supplied himself, and the piece of cloth he'd recieved from Sin. Then, almost seeming to forget about it, the neko-jin reached into his pocket and withdrew the piece of the quill, watching as Tsukai floated down beside it. The Aerandir turned his gaze between the two humanoids at the table, his gaze clearly curious.
"I... think that's everything..."

Alyosha surveyed the pile and nodded a little. "Seems about right". He picked each object up, placing them in a straight line which curved slightly at the tip. He placed the piece of the quill and was about to set it down when he stopped. He had nearly forgotten.
He looked around, stretched and grabbed a thick, leather bound book from one of the nearby bookshleves. Setting it down, he looked across to Kiro. "Ahh.. he doesn't need this for his transformation but I'd like him to have it.." It was a book with nothing written in it - filled with thick acid-free paper. That done, he placed the quill down, watching as Tsukai's wispy form drifted uncertainly over the items. He gave the young Aerandir a quick smile.
Barely had he begun to smile when Tsukai began to change. The little wispy form seemed to shrink for a moment as his little body curled up, a faint blue glow trailing from him to the items, as if he were sucking them up through tendril - like straws. Faint tan and white patches came into being as if from nowhere, large brown eyes peered up at Kiro. Tsukai was now a child. For a few long seconds, Tsu stood there on the table, his long tail trailing behind him, and blinking broadly. Clearly just as shocked, Kiro stared back, his blue eyes seeming even larger than usual as his ears stood forward.
Then, in a flurry of motion, Tsu ran towards his guardian, the table shaking a little with the force of the little one jumping off it and practically falling onto his guardian with a squeak of, "Keeo!!" It was the only word the little one really understood the meaning of enough to say, and it was the one he'd clung to.
Surprised, Kiro caught the little bundle of fur, leaning back a little. His face then developed into a wide grin as he hugged the uncertain child and looked up to Alyosha. "Thanks..."

Alyosha smilled fondly at the seemingly a little overwhelmed Kiro. The boy was so responsible for his age... nothing like he had been. "You're the one who's been looking after him, no need to thank me!" he asserted, leaning back on his hands. This transformation was almost becoming commonplace. And yet... It still seemed special.
Maybe it was the parents who made it so. All of those people who were willing to come and look after a child who was not only not their own but was a different species! It amazed him.
"I expect a full report!" he joked, smiling a little.

It took Kiro a few careful moments to work out if Alyosha was joking. He smiled nonetheless, glancing down briefly as Tsu turned a little to look across at Alyosha, before glancing up again. "If you wanted a hundred of them, I'd write you them!" he replied, still grinning jovially. He paused for a few seconds before shifting Tsu to make it a little easier for him to try and get to his feet. "We should probably go... you look kinda busy..."

Alyosha looked down at the pile of notes and nodded slightly. "Not hard work, but tedious. They.." he paused, not sure if he should be telling the neko-jin this. "They'd like me to go back to the university for a while, have offered me quite the position." he sighed a little. "Not sure what I'm going to do.." he gave Kiro a wan smile. "Nothing for you to worry about though!"

Being already halfway to his feet, Kiro finished clambering upright, finding Tsukai light enough to hold without much discomfort. He then paused, and tilted his head at Alyosha, curious, but not wanting to pry too much.
"Does it sound interesting?"

Alyosha nodded as he got to his feet, walking with Kiro towards the door. "Very, but I'm afraid I can't say much at the moment. It's all being kept quite quiet." he sighed a little but his heart lifted again when he looked at the tiny aerandir nestled against Kiro.
"You better watch him... I have a feeling he's going to be a bit of a terror" Alyosha grinned, opening his door.

Kiro nodded, shifting Tsu to a more comfortable position as he passed through the door. "If he's anything like he was as a gryphon... you could be right." Tilting his head in a lightly nodded, but visible, bow, Kiro and Tsu took their leave, hurrying up the corridor and towards their room.
