Is this where I'm supposed to post as a newcomer? I haven't joined yet, but since this is a public guild, I can post here...

Okay Eternality_Cannon, you are right. This is the place where newcomers come to post. Basically we have many different kinds of roleplays. If you look at our subforums we have plenty of different genres and each contain different types of roleplays. If you aren't much of a roleplayer, but are a wonderful writer we also have a subforum for you to post any type of writings you have. There are a lot of different things here, it's just a matter of taking the time to look around. We also have many helpful members so if you ever have a question, feel free to ask anyone.

*Clears throat.* I do believe there is a D&D rp somewhere around here, but those are not very common in this guild. We mainly do forum style RP's if you couldn't tell.

Yes, you can start any type of RP you'd like as long as you follow the guild rules. Where it goes would depend on what type of RP it is in the first place.

My final question: If it's not too much of a hassle, could another sub-forum be placed tailored to TTRPG's? Rather than being a set for a specific genre, this is a set for specific systems of play.

You must ask Gazma for that, I can assure you he most likely won't make that because those kinds of RP's are not that common here in this Guild.
