Maria smiled at him for a moment "Its a good goal to have." she looked back at the stars and then spoke again "My plan...is to succeed my father as a master samurai and to fight any and all evil where ever it may be."

I plant to fight against the Daimou's army, someday -Akihiko said looking at the stars, the heat of the fire warming him bare skin, where armor and clothing were not covering-

Maria turned over onto ther stomach and wiggled closer to him "Daimou...I've heard the name but I've always been so engrossed in sword play and traveling that I never bothered. Who is he?" she asked, their shoulders touching lightly.

I dont know much about him personally, but I am familiar with his work, he was the one who totally destroyed sand, I don't know if he personally did this, but I do know that he gave orders to do it.....this man can not be allowed to live -I stood on one knee and turned to Maria- Would you help me?

Maria looked up at him for a moment then moved to sit on her knees. Then she bent at the waist and her hands touched the ground before her as well as her forehead "If you'll have me, I will aid you in anyway I can." by saying this in that position, she was making a promise on the soul of her samurai ancestors. Should she break the vow...suicide was the only redemable means "I swear."

Maria took his hand and nodded "Yes! NO! Our fish ar burned!" she suddenly jumped to the fire, dragging the burning fish from the fire and blew on them "Shoot! Well they're sort of eatable." she smiled weakly at him.

I totally forgot about them.....I think i have something we can eat. -He searched through his bag and found 2 rice balls- Here, its not much, but its better than nothing. -I tossed her one of the rice balls-

Maria caught the ball and then had an idea "Hold on a sec. I have an idea." she pulled a slender knife out of her boots and moved back to the fish. She sliced the burned meat off and then chopped up the cooked meat and mixed it with the rice. Then she hopped over to her bag and pulled out a skillet, putting the rice and fish in the skillet with some spices "Do you have a bottle of water? I'm going to make a stir fry."

The blue eyed prince of thieves jumped down from the tree and landed out of the light of the fire without any sound and began walking into the light. His feet first showed and then making its way up til his full body was in view and he was seen to be wearing two katanas on his back and no ninja band visible to show he was ether a spy, a rouge, a deceiver or not a ninja. He looked at the two and only thought of something to say with no success and did not speak.

Maria stiffened and stood sharply, Ryuu in hand and drawn "Name yourself, please." she said calmly. She recognized the katanas on his back and kept her distance near the fire.

"Most call me the prince of thieves. Now who are you?" He kept his name secret til he figured out if these two were trustable. He did not move todraw his blades since he was better at hand to hand then blades and he was still rather skilled with the blade

"Well...Thieves-san, I'm Maria." She indicated herself with a wave of her free hand. Her expression was calm but slightly friendly "You know, sneaking up on people is not normally polite." she smiled.
