((aww you beat me to it lol. if hes not careful sora and nagisa will be forming an anti-Arcus group... btw why do you keep referring to nagisa as "the aburame girl" its kinda strange since Arcus is aburame too. does he have trouble with names?))

((Yes, all three of us were there when he was training students. The fact is that Arcus is terrible with names. Unless someone formally introduces themselves to him, he usually doesn't remember the name very long. And he refers to her as the Aburame girl because not only does he not remember her name, but he'll forget she's aburame if he doesn't call her that, because she never uses her bugs. I was gonna call her 'his clansmate' or something, but thats not actually a word so i just went with Aburame girl. If you tell him your name, he'll remember.))

(OOC: My rpc literally shouted at her name right after everyone was introduced -_-; .... It's not exactly formal, but it should be enough to stick >.> .... Besides, you should at least recognize her even if you don't remember her name.)

Genin -------------- Arcus frowned slightly when the girl didn't follow right away. He turned and walked back to her. I've got this cool new jutsu I want to try out. But it'll look a lot cooler if you help me with timing and such. What I want you to do is run at me and jump when you get about... He paused to think back to the description he'd read on the scroll. 7 feet from me. Dive, straight towards me, hands outstretched; as if to tackle me. It'll be fun, I promise. He was still working out the mechanics of the jutsu while he walked back. He stood under the tree. His jutsu shouldn't mess up the tree much. Nothing that time wouldn't heal anyway. He looked at the little girl. Then looked down at the Doton scroll he'd dropped. ok...got it. He said as he went through the seals slowly. He was gonna give her time to run before finishing the jutsu. Ready when you are. He hoped the Aburame girl was watching. He'd read somewhere that girls liked guys that were good with kids. But this would only work if the little one did what he said. ----------------- ((ooc: )) Chakra 23/25

Sora tilted her head with wonder to one side before quietly following Arcus. She was starting to think that he was slightly crazy. However, she did as she was asked and ran towards the older boy, diving at him once she got within range.

i suppose...Nagisa gave in, as she always did, when the voice of Jeremy had chimed in. Jeremy was one of her closest friends, as well as a top-notch ninja. Since he had died, she had still continued to hear him when she wasn't thinking clearly. She still knew she couldnt take a life like that herself, but she was beginning to understand why he would have. grudgingly she came out of her spot, and approached Arcus, as well as Sora who had joined him. "Ï owe you another shot... as an Aburame..." she added with a note of cheerfulness "just dont attack me this time ok?" ((sorry for the corny-ness, but she is becoming stubborn and hard for me to control. it's often fun when a character develops on it's own, but it can also be a real pain.)) -----------------------------

Genin -------------- Arcus finished the seals and shouted Doton: Gou no Doro! The second after she jumped, the earth below her turned into mud. in fact, the entire area around him for 6 feet turned into mud, leaving him standing on about a mound of dirt a foot in diameter. He was slightly concerned. Although you couldn't tell by looking, the moat was about 6 feet deep. If she fell, she'd sink and probably die. But didn't the prospect of death always make things more exciting? Doton: Gou no Doro (Earth Release: Mud Moat) Learned. 3 posts - 2 for training fieldHe grinned. Although she was small, she still looked epic sailing over the mud as she was. Her faced showed puzzlement, but he hoped she enjoyed the effect he was creating. He let go of the last seal and reached his hand out to catch the sailing child. He turned slightly as her hands met his and yanked her as he spun in a small circle. He spun her around a complete rotation catching out of the corner of his eye, the Aburame girl who'd accidentally walked on to the ground he'd changed to mud. She's gonna sink! What the hell is she doing?? He almost panicked. He was about to throw the girl up to the tree, but decided to change his mind at the last second. To the little one, it looked as if they were playing a game, and at first they were, but behind is glasses, he was freaking out and trying to think fast. He had to save the Aburame from drowning in mud, and get the little one to safety without letting her know how dangerous the situation had become. At the end of his rotation, he launched the small child at the older one. He tried to put in just enough force to knock them both away from the mud. It wasn't a lot since the Aburame girl hadn't walked far into range. Catch! He yelled, trying and hopefully succeeding in sounding playful. He wanted it to seem like a game. The Aburame girl knew how serious her predicament was, so he hoped she'd just shut up and listen. Doton: Gou no Doro (Earth Release: Mud Moat) Description: This jutsu converts the area immediately surrounding the performer of it into a a deep murky moat full of mud. The moat is at least 6 ft deep and four feet in radius (6 feet radius for genin, 8 feet for chuunin, 10 feet for Jounin, 15 feet for Sennin). Due to the nature of the moat, water walking can not be performed on it. "W-WAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" Sora screamed, half with fright, half with shock, and half with the sheer exhilaration of the ride. As she was tossed at Nagisa, Sora noticed the mud at the girl's feet, the mud that the older girl was starting to sink into. She also noticed that her current position wasn't exactly the best. Quickly shifting her body in mid-air, a feat that she somehow managed to pull off fairly easily, the girl turned so as to tackle into the other kunoichi with the small of her back instead of her more painful feet. She was a lot smarter than her blonde-ness and/or smallness made her appear to be.

Nagisa looked watched the ground around her suddenly liquify. it had turned to mud! he had attacked her yet again! she heard him shout something, and she was about to shout something right back, but she noticed Sora flying towards her. It was almost too late, but she managed to embrace her and they both flew backwards, landing right at the edge of the puddle. Jeremy?
I got nothing...
I see...She helped Sora up and then turned to glare at him, a small black cloud forming behind her. her bugs were much smaller than his, but their quantity made up for it. from a distance, it would probably have looked like a thick smoke. ök, scratch that... what the hell?!?!!! ((admittedly it was bad timing on my part... i am definitely going to need help calming her down now...)) -----------------------------

Genin -------------- Arcus had no place for a running start so he had to improvise. He launched himself. He jumped off of the small mound of dirt he was on and landed on the still sinking tree. He used his momentum from that jump to launch across the mud moat and land safety out of range of it. He looked up at the genin as her bugs took flight behind her. He didn't know she actively used them. Drawing a kunai quickly from his arm holster, he spun it around his finger before gripping the handle hard and holding it in front of his face, the blade aligned with his arm. Hey, I'm sorry. We were having fun with training. The whole thing was an accident. Are you guys ok? He eyed the bugs again. He frowned because he felt the bugs still camping out in his hair grow agitated. calm down guys. take it easy. He thought at them, because a couple were starting to take flight. Hey, um...I already apologized, this is my second time doing so, actually. I would prefer if we could settle this without violence. I mean, there's a little kid here. Do you think we could possibly um...forget about this whole thing?he finished sort of lamely. He really wasn't in the mood to fight this girl again. especially because of how bad things went last time. He didn't have orders this time. "Ouch," was the first sound to escape Sora's mouth as she picked herself up. That word was soon replaced with a series of confused expression. "Umm.... Huh? C-calm down Nagisa," the girl hoped that a fight wouldn't ensue between the two Aburame clan members, a fear which was only heightened when she saw Arcus pull out a kunai, "Gah! Please don't fight!". By now, she was extremely frantic and hyperactive, her hands waving wildly in the air to show that she meant what she said.
