BriarOfTheAsh Hello! I actually just joined. Mostly for this thread actually. Cracked up at the first few posts I saw. But I'd figure I'd share a WTF moment since I'm here. So, I joined this Bleach RP (Didn't actually know it, nor did it specify that it WAS a Bleach role-play) and I had this character who could see the soul-reaper (correct if I'm wrong, I haven't seen Bleach in ages) people. Then there was these other two guys (the only other two actually) who were soul-reapers, and this crazy s**t happened: Me: Leave me alone crazy ghost people! SR 1: You looks like my wife before I died! You're my daughter! (Without my consent!) SR 2: Who cares! She's cute! (Here we get back to my house, and SR 1 decides to play my character's mom) Mom: Hello! SR 1: Hey! It is my wife! SR 2: It's also that person I had a one night stand with! Mom: I am a soul-reaper all of a sudden! Yep. Like I said, crazy s**t! I think I got fairly pissed and left right then. (I had had a fight with SR 2 a little before, and was still sort of angry at him.) I felt like I was reading a script from Mystery Science Theater 3k For the second RP it sounds like this Percy Jackson inspired RP I saw once on a different site. I wanted to join but they only wanted the demi-gods and I could already see how the RP creator had quickly called dibs on the gods she wanted (always death and war). And I like playing the old monsters. I wanted to be either the sphinx or Echidna (mother of monsters) but the RP captain didn't want that at the time she wanted to fill all of those spots up first. Really if you have someone actually willing to do minor characters like that wouldn't you want them to do it?

And actually, I did a while ago. He only said "It's just an rp."
I wanted to punch the computer, but instead said "Well, I just really annoyed when people mix mythology around me. Now that I got that off my chest, I'll stop bugging you!"

I love Mystery Science Theater 3k. Makes me crack up every time.
And yes, I would like them to play minor characters like that. My problem? Suddenly deciding the fact that they are a different race (I guess, if that's what you can call soul-reapers) when they are directly connected to my character. And suddenly deciding that they themselves are connected to said character.

Technically children of two gods are still gods >.> no less powerful than their parents... well, depending on which set of gods you're talking about. Minor really just means that nobody gives a s**t about them XP

I know, it slipped before I actually realized that the kids would be as powerful, but decided not to change it and go with it.
And in a sense, wouldn't they be minor gods? Like, in a sense that they aren't real gods in mythology, so no one really does give a s**t about them. (Or maybe not, and I'm using my really strange, twisted logic again.))

No, with minor gods it's more than no one gives a s**t about them. They also have really pointless specialties that noone really cares about. Like Medicine... and fish... While Demi-gods are humans with one parent who's a god, which gives them super-human strength, or speed, or sight, etc. In a sense, a Demi-god is just a wimpy Minor god that people like to talk about because they seem more human than god >.> ---- "Hercules"

So what would it be if a god and an immortal had children? And no they aren't the same thing before someone tries to correct that. One has power and the other doesn't.

A half breed? It would be just, Half God, Half Immortal, just like half human, half vampire, or half elemental, etc.
OR you could just call it a god/demi-god. Seeing as it would work the same way.
Depends on how you wanna name it, based on blood or abilities.

Wynaro Welcome to the guild Briar! XD definitely some crazy shits right thurr (my sister recently taught me how to spell that word. I'm not too good with speaking... not... english... I think? Alie, I saw like... 3 roles I would love D= If they're still open when I get internet, I am SO joining that rp. ((Already planned a possible character for the "Playa" (I think...) -OMGZ I USED 2 BLACK WORDS IN THIS POST!!!- Super highschool prep squeal)) tell me which ones and I'll reserve one for you (because I have power like that wink ) and yeah, I called you Kenny because I was reading through Labyrinth

I was looking at Player, Clown, and Gamer (two of which just happen to be jocks lol) But yea, if two get taken, I'll be fine with whichever one is left.

Can't wait to get back into role playing... I can get you any of those... the Gamer might be tricky because there's someone else who wants it. and there's already a girl with a crush on the Class Clown and two girls who hate the Player. Plus the only guy in the rp so far hates the Class Clown XD He's a Loner though.

Anyway, give the other person the gamer, I'll take whichever place is left. I'd rather someone else get the role, than the rp be dead by the time I get back, ya know? XP
