You're right on every point p:
I wouldn't know what kind of candy to get rofl I'd just end up standing there in the candy aisle for forever until some supermarket employee starts suspecting me of trying to shoplift.

Have you ever tried the eeny-meeny-miny-moe technique?

It doesn't help :'D Then I just keep thinking about the other items I didn't pick. I have to form a case for whatever item I pick - it doesn't matter how convoluted the logic is, it just makes me feel better :'D In fact, the more convoluted the reasoning it is, the better. Because then I can't argue against myself xD

I have, but for clothes, I find that I like making sure that it actually fits and looks good before purchasing.

I'm wary of buying clothes online.
Do you try everything on before you buy?

Agreed.
Yeah. I'd just rather not go through the whole hassle of a return policy any more than I have to.

How is it a hassle? Every time I've returned something it's just some questions and then it's over.

Really? Don't you have to provide proof of purchase and a receipt and ID, and isn't there usually some time limit and a specific condition on how the returned item should be in?

Yeah but Walmart isn't too picky and the things I usually return aren't even opened.

True. I guess I just don't like having to haul myself back to the store.
Walmart is actually surprisingly quite far away from my house. At least 15 miles.

I do have a Super Target that's right down the street. Considerably convenient.
Downtown is also filled with a bunch of shops and restaurants and it's like a 5 minute drive/10 minute bike ride away, but I'm never comfortable there x_x
