"Sure - but don't be late, ok? I know your matron, remember? She can be evil, though she used to be nice to me..." he shrugged, unhappily remembering when he'd been seen kissing that nurse - she'd grabbed him before he knew what she intended and Mao had seen.

"I doubt she could have any hate for you. She can hate me, but not you." Mao then grabbed his keys and phone and waited for Nathan to follow before opening the door.

Nathan followed, waited until the apartment door was locked, then hugged Mao from behind. "You say the sweetest things!" he murmured, kissing his Demon's cheek before letting go. "But I don't want her to hate you either - even if you can still be a Mr. Grumpy at times..." he winked and started down the stairs.

Mao continued to walk with Nathan. After crossing the street, he suddenly stopped. "Where do you want to go to eat?"

Mao shrugged and continued to walk on. "There's a cafe near here where I usually go. It's usually empty at this hour."

Once there, Mao opened the door for Nathan and then went in after. He looked around, but as usual there were almost no other people there. The only ones were two young women sitting in on corner, and a business man sitting towards the middle. "Where would you like to sit?" Mao asked him.

"Would you like to see a menu or do you already know what you would like?"
