Riku smiled at the blonde who had come up beside him. Hopefully she wouldn't notice that he hadn't spelt at all. She greeted her and put his arm around her while Sora and Kairi joined them. He shrugged at the brunette's question. Nothing was up, really. The silvernette held onto Naminé. If he had to go to a festical or fair or whatever it was called he was at least going to have her to himself. "Sora, we'll have to meet up and do one of those gun races," Riku challenged. he was sure that carnivals had those games, or at least the movies did.

Princess of Heart

Kairi smiled at Sora when he recommended that they should get some back up warm clothes for her in case they went back to a cold place. "Hee hee, that's a good idea. Next time I'll be more prepared," the crimsonette told him.

As Kairi and Sora came upon the docks Kairi saw a familiar silvernette. Riku called out their names and waved to them. "Hey Riku!" the crimsonette called waving back to him. Naminé had just arrived as well and went and stood with Riku. The petite blonde grinned and waved at the Keybearer and the Princess. "Hi Naminé!" Kairi smiled and waved in return.

Sora led the way to the beach and greeted Riku and Naminé. The brunette then sat down on the beach, pulled off his shoes, and stuck his feet into the cool ocean water. Kairi sat down next to Sora and did the same. Kairi giggled when Riku told Sora that he and the brunette would have to meet up later at the carnival and do one of those gun races. The red head was sure that Sora would accept the silvernette's challenge.

Kairi looked over to Riku and asked him, "Have you been waiting here long?" since it appeared that he had been the first one to arrive at the docks. A moment later Kairi heard another voice. She looked around and saw Blink. He greeted the couples then asked them if he was late. "Hey Blink," the crimsonette smiled, "No you're running right on time." The Princess looked around at all her friends and smiled. She knew she was going to have a good time today.

Lakayna had slept soundly through the night, dreaming of the next day and what she would do with her friends. When the young girl opened her eyes, she was met with rays of golden sunshine streaming through the cracks of the drawn blinds. Rubbing her eyes, Lakayna got out of bed and pulled up the blinds, opened the window, and was met with a blast of the warmth of the outside air. It was going to be a very beautiful day.

Lakayna was still dressed in her clothes from the day before, though having momentarily forgotten. She walked past her mirror and gasped in horror. She looked more like a monster now than she had when she'd been a dragon! Her hair was wild and sticking out at different ends, and dried blood and dirt caked her skin. Holding back a scream, the young girl rushed to her closet and pulled out a random dress. It was a summer dress; dark blue with spagghetti straps and blue roses sewn into the fabric.

Lakayna also remembered there was somewhere he had to be; so she made her shore as quick as she could; scrubbing herself hard to get clean in a short time. The scales that'd appeared on her skin when she turned back to a human form were still there on Lakayna's face; but she took no notice as she changed into the summer dress and put on a pair of matching sandals. Lakayna needed no towel to dry off, as the fire burning within her did that for her; sort of like an automatic hairdryer.

Lakayna combed her lavender hairand rushed downstairs to be greeted by her father putting breakfast on the table. He wasn't joining her, as he was aware she was going to be somewhere today. He watched Lakayna eat her breakfast hurriedly, though not so fast she'd have a stomach ache later. When finished, the girl put her dirty dishes in the sink and hugged and kissed her father; not yet realizing that the drawback of her ability from before was gone.

Lakayna then said bye to her father and walked out the door. She didn't bother to bring her weapons, figuring she couldn't possibley need them today. Lakayna walked down towards the beach to the docks, where she was supposed to meet everyone today. It didn't take too long a time to get there, and Lakayna saw that Riku, Sora, Kairi, Namine and Blink had already arrived.

"Hi guys!" Lakayna called out and waved maybe a hundred feet from them. She broke into a jog and made her way over to them.

Hikari kept her hands close to her chest, as if afraid that her coat would fall off of her if she let go. "But I haven't seen my actual skin since I was a kid. All I've ever had to wear was that Dark Form," she said. She then looked at the open closet, which didn't really have anything in it. "This coat is all I have to wear. How am I supposed to go out in nothing but a coat?" she said, sitting on the bed.

Axel was sprinting to the docks. After hearing that Lakayna had already left for the docks when he arrived at her house to pick her up, Axel knew that he was going to be late. He then skidded to a stop when he saw that the majority of the group had already arrived. Slowing his breath, he walked casually up to them. "Hey guys!' he said as he approached. "So what's everyone up to? Ready for a day at the carnival?" he asked and then looked around, looking mildly confused. "Where's Alexander and Hikari?"

Blushing slightly, she took the clothes and mumbled a thanks before sending him out of the room so she can change. A few minutes later, she emerged from the bedroom, looking at her outfit nervously before looking up at him. "It isn't too baggy," she said quietly, still feeling rather anxious about not having her Dark Form.

She looked up at him when he emerged from his room in his outfit and then asked him if she could still summon her keyblade. She didn't even think about it. Standing up, she held out her hand, trying to focus on the weapon. After a moment of silence, nothing happened. She then looked at her hand. "It won't come. I can't even feel it anymore," she said ruefully.
