"Might want to let me handle this, Alex," said Aura quietly. She did not retreat from or advance towards her brother. Instead, she calmly kept her eyes locked on him, facing him squarely with no fear in her gaze. While she'd never had to face him down quite like this before, she knew her mother was keeping an eye on them, and she had Siobhan to draw off of if things went south. Things would be all right. Her mild eyes did not exactly challenge Einon - she was just watching. As hard as it would be to have to take him down, Aura was not afraid. She knew she could do it, particularly with her mother standing behind her.
"Einon," she said quietly. Nothing more. It wasn't a plea, or even a warning. It was just a reminder - of who he was, of who she was, of what was happening. Because he seemed to be losing that.

uilenyk (sure, you can still use one of my men.) Hyn licked his dry lips not wanting to give anything away. if he did, it could bring not only his own life into danger but also Kirra's. "just promise me for now. i'll explain everything the next time i see you." Arashi was still in the back of his mind. he still didn't know where she stood with Kray.

Alex replied to Aura and said "i'm not leaving" he stood beside her and kept his eyes on Einon he even sheathed his blade and kept his compusre together despite the situation though his arm was numb...
Leon looked at Vix and said "was i ever this Insane? I mean our son has to get it from somewhere" he said meaning what Alex was doing

Alexa, however, was no longer where Kirra had left her. She had passed a little further towards the place in question - her irritation had led to anger, and her sense of being watched had grown. Although she told herself it was just the paranoia that she had slowly felt growing ever since she'd joined up with Kirra, she couldn't dismiss it. One of the signs of paranoia. Goddamn it. She wasn't used to questioning herself this way.
So she stalked that sense of being watched, and before she knew it she was out of sight of Kirra and the others. Despite her irrational anger with Kirra for abandoning her, she turned around, intending to call out. She knew better than to try to stalk a potential danger completely alone.
The next thing she knew was a sudden, stabbing pain just between her shoulder blades. Her back arched, her eyes opened wide, and just as suddenly, she fell limp and crumpled.
She was dead before ever she hit the ground.
The bandit stood, staring down at the corpse for several seconds. Eventually, he dropped the knife beside her. The girl would not come any closer to the village. Not on his watch. Believing he had done his duty, the man ran away towards the ruins again, to report to his leader.

(wat!!!! nuu ugh now i has to make Alex keel over in pain...))
Alex yelped out in a sudden outburst of pain and tears "Noo!! it hurts agh where is this coming from" he fell to his knees using everything he had left to hold on from passing out "it must be Alexa... damnit sister where are you....." he stopped talking and clenched the ground hard the pain was intense and it felt searing burning his back was the center spot of his pain....

Einon stepped towards them again, his body crackling with energy. His skin pulled tight, more and more demonic. Snarling again, he looked at the girl. Her power was strong, but there were two sources within the one girl. Looking at the boy, he saw a tendril of energy leading out to the desert. Then the boy doubled over in apparent pain. The tendril was shaking violently. Einon snarled again, moving to seperate the two, taking a step around them to get on the other side of the boy. His attack and rage instincts still driving him.

Aura's eyes were locked on Einon, as she calmly stepped so that she was standing next to Alex. Separating them was, she could tell, Einon's ultimate goal. Since she knew it, she was going to do all that she could to keep precisely that from happening. "Let him be, Einon," she said, her voice icy in warning as she put a gentle hand on Alex's shoulder. "Alex, get up. We can't afford to show weakness right at the moment, since Einon's being stupid."
She knew something was wrong with him. Alex had been fine a moment ago, and now he was crumpled and trembling. Yet she could do nothing for him, particularly considering the fact that her brother had elected to take now of all times to be moronic and use power he couldn't handle. So she would have to be cruel to Alex, at least until she had Einon under control, and then she could find out what was wrong with him, being as kind as she knew how.
She wondered where Artemis had gotten to. To be honest, at the moment she could really use another mage's help. When was the last time she had thought that? Besides the time with Siobhan? The only thing she could honestly think of was the time she had been five, and had blown up the back part of the house. That had been weeks putting back together.
All she could do was pray that this would not blow up in her face similarly.

Alex looked at Aura and said "i..i..can't please..." he looked back at Einon and said stuttering and through the intense pain he felt and the tears fallnig he said "if you must do it if you can't save yourself from yourself and you have to kill someone here spare your sister....take me...please this pain...i can't stand it...Einon SAVE ME!!" he said he finally passed out from the pain
Leon looked at his wife and said "w-w-whats wrong with our son.... something with Alexa it has to be but what...." Leon's eyes grew wider with fear his son was in pain and his daughter was goodness knows where

"Lexa?" Kirra called looking around frantically for the only one who had truly seemed to care for her besides her brother. Her eyes were wide with fear and concern and she ran off in the direction they had been going thinking that maybe she had gone on without her for some reason. She soon came upon Alexa's body and fell to her knees beside it as shock went through her body.
