Mephlius accepted unconditionally. He gave her more blood, then sat in a chair. He was watching her... waiting for her to get up and be fine... but he fell asleep in the chair.

~Dream~
A young girl with silver hair and red eyes wandered the pastures at night, alone and confused. The crescent moon glistened it's beautiful but eery light on the grass, illuminating the dark night slowly. The girl looked around, frightened terribly, hoping that the man had stopped following her.
Amnity grimaced, Wake up! WAKE UP!! Her discomfort was noticable, but she couldn't wake up...

Mephlius still sat there asleep. The heart monitor continued it's Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep... It was hypnotic. He was in his dream, and a single tear rolled down his face as he considered all the possibilities of what could happen when he wakes up.

As the nightmare continued, her discomfort was getting worse.
The 4 year old girl was now running frantically, calling for her parents that wouldn't come. A dark shadow appeared near some trees and she quickly turned to it, "Mama?.." she asked, her voice desperate for a reply. Suddenly, it felt like an invisible rope tangled around her small body and she fell to the ground, unable to move her arms and legs. The man stepped from his shadowy sanctuary, his dark hair tangled over his eyes and clothes. She could barely see his face, but his fangs were noticeable as his dark cackle filled the air.
The heart monitor was beeping faster now, Amnity layed motionless in the bed, beads of sweat fell from her forehead.

At the first out-of-rate beep, Mephlius shot awake. He saw her sitting there, and stared again, still waiting for her to wake up and be okay. He sighed, and stood up. He picked up her jacket from the hallway, and layed it on her, then sat back down in the same chair.

Amnity's breath quickened. Most of the time when this nightmare would cloud her mind she would wake up before it got too far, but the anesthetic kept it's cold, unforgiving hold on her consciousness. Wake up...Please...
The little girl stared up at the man and his long vampire fangs. She was too paralyzed to even scream, the moon illuminated his piercing fangs as he continued to laugh evilly, the sound of his cackle imprinted onto her mind forever. The little girl stared her large red eyes at him, unable to move, unable to cry.
The heart rate monitor was going crazy now, beeping at every other second. Amnity's breath was quickening, it looked like she was struggling to wake up. A nurse rushed into the room and looked at the monitor, her eyes widened in shock. "Dr. Gail!!! Dr. Gail We're loosing her!!" she called, strappig the breathing mask over her mouth as the doctor rushed in.

As soon as he heard "We're loosing her!!", he sat silent for a second. After 1 second, he fully registered what was just said. "AMNITY!" DAMNIT!!!

The heart rate monitor suddenly became a steady line... Amnity stopped breathing.
Dr. Gail hooked the defibrillator up and charged it, he gripped the 2 plate handles as the nurse pumped air into Amnity to keep her breathing. "Clear!!!" The doctor screamed. The nurse moved the breathing mask away as the doctor pressed the the plates on her chest, sending a shock into her system. The heart monitor continued to show no signs of life, the doctor recharged the defibrillator again. "Clear!!!"

"DAMNIT!!! AMNITY!!! WAKE UP!!!" Tears streaked down Mephlius' face.

No no no no NO!!! Amnity slowly was consumed by darkness, unable to move...unable to cry...
The doctor sent another shock wave into her heart, "Come on! Come on!" he hissed. After many years of bieng a doctor he wasn't going to let any of his patients slip this easily. "Clear!!!!" He sent another shock into her heart.
"DAMNIT!!! AMNITY!!! WAKE UP!!!" Those words pierced her head, they were so familiar. Mephlius? Her heart lit on fire. Mephlius!! He stayed!!
The heart monitor began to beat again...It was faint, but it was beating.

Mephlius smiled through the tears. "There's my love... you're tougher than that a stupid gunshot." Damn... is it too soon to say love?

A smirk tugged at the the side of her mouth, but her eyes were still closed.
~Time skip~
Dr. Gail left the room, checking on his other patients. The nurse left too, a bit shaken from all of the excitment. Amnity waited for a few more minutes, she opened one of her eyes slightly and looked around, "...Are...They gone?" she whispered to Mephlius.

Mephlius' heart exploded when he heard her speak. His face lit up with joy, and he was speechless for a few seconds. Then he finally reacted. "Oh... yeah, why?"

Amnity took off the breathing mask and tossed it aside. She tired to sit up, but it hurt so she decided to stay down, "Bloody hell...It felt like.....Someone punched me in the chest...3 times..." her voice was soft, she paused every other second to catch her breath. Amnity turned her head to Mephlis, "...Are you..Alright? You...look troubled."

Mephlius' tears switched from tears of sadness to tears of joy, but it wasn't actually visibly different. "I'm fine..." He instantly fell down and hugged her. "Amnity I'm so glad you're okay!"
