"Where can I get the firepower?" she only had the one gun with her that Quin had given to her. Her original plan to turn into familiars, but that couldn't work right now. She watched Rivven hastily.

Percy called out that something was coming, Fortune and Remy where on it, forming a defensive barrier out of tables and chairs at the door. This would be a tough fight for them, they didn't know much about magic and from what they saw they only had one shot compared to their fores many.
"Damn it." Looking down at Chanti, "Everything will be all right, just stay here." Jumping over the bar Quin grabbed for some of the fire bombs, tossing them carefully to a warry Fortune. "Times a changing and we need to change with them or die trying." Pointing his gun at what seemed to be the head of the pupper shotting at Rivven he pulled the trigger and using his ki guided it so it would strike it again and again, repeatedly beating it tell it was non fuctioning. "Well that worked." He was mildly surprised at himself but drained from the use. Dropping the gun he took out his second one, only one more after that. "Oh Morgan forgot to tell you, your other two are in the drawr. This is as good a time as any to give them to you."

Morgan rolled her eyes. Chantico couldn't fight then. She took a close look at what Quin was doing, and was able to aim and fire at them, just not as quickly as her fellow gunman Quin. "Thanks, meant to ask you about that a few days ago." she said dryly, trying to reload again. What was Rivven doing?

"Your welcome, well now we got the inside threat taken care of, now we just need to figure out how to take care of the ones arriving." Quin looked around, "We need to fortify, prepare for falling back routine, we need to set up a firezone. Damn what I wouldn't give for a squad of Dragoons about now. We should also create a safety measure and be prepared to burn the place down as well, start pouring the wine and anything else you can get a hold of. This is going to be most likely a delay action unless we can hold them off at the door, other wise be prepared to make a back exit." Quin was moving tabbles about, created a clear path towards the back of the bar and pouring alcohal along the surfaces. "Percy, through them something to drink." Percy through one of the firebombs, it lit up the night with its flames, casting shadows upon the contraptions of weapons walking towards them.

Rivven tried to take in all of what the others were doing, but his attention was on finding where Richardo would take his next shot from. If he could just pop up and fire from anywhere... Rivven drew his chakra, letting it flare, though it would mean he'd have to use it soon or loose it. That would probably be the case no matter what. Ducking and moving into the kitchen, he turned on several faucet's bending the streams of water out around his hand, weaving himself a mimicry of his chain, putting a hook on the end where the blade should have been, and standing in the center of the kitchen to look around for the next shot. From two of the shadowed corners, arms sprang out, taking aim from completely different angles, but both coming close to catching, as Rivven flipped himself over a counter and spotted the arm with just a glimmer of the glowing green light beside it, throwing the chain. The hook caught a shoulder, and without a sound, Richardo retreated into the shadows, pulling Rivven along with him. Bracing a foot against the wall to hold himself from going through into the shadow, Rivven pulled on the watery chain, managing to hold his ground until the glowing eyes appeared in another shadow behind him, and the air turned violently inside the room, and sharp snaps of the air, like invisible blades of wind, cut at Rivven's back and he let it pull him through. As long as he could cut down on Richardo's mobility, he would have a good chance, and then he could get back to the rest of them.
Rivven rolled out behind Richardo, the tall cloaked man growling under his dark mask, tearing the semi-solid hook from his shoulder and tossing it, just as an unnatural gust from under his feet shot him high into the air, turning his guns down to fire. Rivven burst the chain, turning it instead into a sheild, of no use agains the bullets of course, but rather than holding it between he pushed himself off of it behind a tree, immediatly assessing what exactly had happened, and drawing out water from every source he could feel in the area, wipping it around himself in flurries. He was in a forest. Richardo was momentarily nearby, and there was doubtless some reinforcement for him here, if it was where he'd chosen to pull Rivven. He took a quick breath and spun around the the tree, running full on for the next and following after the way Richardo had gone.

Something wasnt right. Alan returned to the bar and looked in the door. The place was trashed. There were bullet holes everywhere and the people inside looked firghtened. This cant be good, mabee I should help. It could just be a barfight though, a rather intense one. Mabee I should stay out of it. He was pushed aside roughly by a bunch of what looked like puppets as the ran inside. He had had enough, he picked up a stick and bashed one in the face. Its head poped off and went sailing through the air, none of the others seemed to notice.

"May I help you, young sir?" Levaticus, the balding sage dressed for a day in court, tapped his cane on the ground, and looked up to him. "I think my apprentice would be rather upset that you play with his friends so roughly. I suggest you stand aside, I am here on answer to a bussiness oppurtunity I would be a fool to miss, and I would ask you kindly stand aside, or else show my what makes you think it is your place to bar the path." he tapped the cane on the ground and looked up at him, somewhat curiously looking him up and down. Who was to say the child was not one of the energies impressing Talivar, even if he didn't look to be anything worth bother. But then, he'd seen plenty of dangerous children before.

"I'm sure that none of the people in there have harmed you. Why would you wish to harm them? If you have no reason I suppose I will have to stop you, or at least delay you for as long as I am able."Alan held the stick out to one side and it lengthened and became slender and sharp on one end. Then a silvery matereal seemed to seep out of it and encase it. In his hand where the stick had been, there was now a silvery sword.
"I suppose you know the rules, but I dont think you are the type that would follow them."

"Bah. Just do what you can, if that is what you wish." The man tapped the cane and spun it around to under one arm, drawing a large thin cloth covered in runic symbols from his coat, and spreading it out. Light shone from the symbols, and formed a wall between him and the young man, whom the puppets currrently continued to ignore. The light arced around him, bursting up from the ground, and formed a circular wall around Levaticus, as he pulled a thin blade hidden withing the cane out, and ran his finger gently along it's edge, and then spread the blood over several golden rings he pulled from his coat, tossing them out just beyond the wall. The man held his blade as if to fence, and began to speak a low string of words in a long dead language. Shadows grew around the rings, and with them as their centers, formed man shaped forms, with claws instead of fingers, blurry shaped of nothing but what appeared to be dark mist surrounding the golden rings.

"Move out of the way you a**." Quin was scrambling to where Alan stood, "Of course they won't fight fair." Firebomb in one hand flintlock in the other Quin came up behind Levaticus, "Hello old man, thanks for the info." Seeing Levaticus turn towards him Quin raised the firebomb as though he was in a regular bar fight, swinging it down to make contact on his upper body Quin lost sight as the contents exploded when the glass shatered. Bringing up his ki to act as a barrier he found himself on the ground a few meters away, a little scorched and his shoulder bruised. Looking to where Levaticus had stood he saw a raging inferno. "Don't think that stoped him." he muttered to himself as he stood up.

Lets see what did he say about this... Shadows, shadows. Ah, I think I got it. "Animus Extrudere, Luminos" A Translucent blue bubble sprang up around him and the sword he held started to give off a faint glow. "Flamma Adgredi" A fireball shot from his hand and struck one of the shadowy forms dead center, it exploded into flame and fell to the ground. "Hit me with your best shot, old man."

((A note to any of you who haven't been reading elsewhere about the shadows, so you can kill them yourself without worrying about having me npc everything they do; they are recklessly offensive, and will regenerate their bodies quickly unless you destroy the ring, in which case, they're dead.))
The old man stood smoking, clothes blackened, coming out of his inferno with the glowing wall now clinging to his skin instead of around him. "Please to see you again, my good sir. Quite an annoyance you've made yourself, ruined a good suit. Hardly worth taking with me, but I think a bit of effort of my own to move you aside would not be misplaced." he growled, flicking the sword around and dropping the cane. He took a vial from his caot, removing the cap, and flung it out at Quintilius, where it burst to flames, spreading them around. He ignored his shadowy creations and the puppets now coming behind him toward the other two, claws and blades for limbs, and spoke again, swinging his finger around and spraying droplets of blood through the flames, which began to collect and take shape as well, small forms around the shards of the glass vial. Yet more minions to do the dirty work for him, as if he hadn't enough already.

"I'm sure that finger stings something nasty. You want me to make it better? Dont worry, I can end all the pain." "Animus Adgredi." He shouted. A white ball designed to damage the brain of its target beyone repair materialized and flew towards Lavaticus, while Alan's sword zipped around him, bring death when it touched. Suddenly the sword flew across the ground and landed out of reach. A shadow seemed to grin at him as it snarled and clawed at Alan's face. "Luminos" Alan managed to cry out when he had a hand on the shadow's face. The shadow turned to light, then disapated completely.

Feeling the flames lick at him from the exploded vile, "Seems we don't think that much apart." Quin knew what was going on, he had read enough of it, he knew that long dead tongue, he knew what those words would do. Drawing his knife he drew a beed of blood from his arm hand, squeezing his fist, contracting the muscles so more blood would come out, wiping the flat of the blade across the wound he spoke, "Old man, your not the only one. You asked me about summoning demons, no I do not do that, yet, but now would be a good a time as any to do so." Standing in a similar fasion than Levaticus Quin's mantra of calling down of outer beings began. He would ignore the puppets as they came, this was more important. At the back of his mind a voice gibber with madening glee, upon the breaching of sanity, bringing forth that which should not live yet lives not into this world. His body trembled as it happened, the outer gods had heard his call, but at what price. It happened in a change way. It felt as though the creature was ripping through his flesh to get out yet it seem to just slide out of it to those that watched. It was a mass of mouths with eternal hell fires constantly burning. Eyes growing and being consumed. Tendrils slashing out to crumble away. It was a mass of chaos and this time it was no illusion.

The old man dropped onto the ground, under the white ball of light, and stood slowly as it passed by, cursing and looking around. "I haven't the time to play any longer with you. Begone." He mumbled, and spoke a ryme of old tongue again, and a white light much like that around him collocted around and beyond the small cane sword, and he swung the pillar like a wip down at the young men in front of him. the puppets, the flames, and the shadows all, had similair intentions, and though several of each were destroyed by the whip, and some still went into the bar, nearly all now came in upon Quintilius and Alan. The demon he feared, that was not the sort of thing one took lightly. Some could be killed, some were immortal, and some were weak while others powerful. Anyway it came... the creature was beyond what he prefered to deal with. He would flee the thing as soon as he'd the pillar had crushed his opponents and cleared him a retreat.
