Kir didn't move. When Kieran wasn't around, he couldn't read thoughts unless they were in contact with each other. So he couldn't hear the thoughts of a person on the other side of the room.

Lily sighed. She wanted for things to be alright, so much, but it still seemed that there were problems. Why couldn't the Academy just leave them alone? She felt a tear run down her cheek.

Altair sighed for a moment oh well, maybe it's direct contact, much like i am with Durrahn here he thought to himself. Altair picked up the cranes and put them away gently. he then walked over to Kir and placed a hand on his shoulder. Kir, can you hear me?? he asked again.

Kir jumped. For a moment his true feeling were on his face. He was terrified of what had happened. He missed Rya and Keiri and Kieran. The desperate look eventually went back to his usual more calm expression. He nodded to Altair in reply to his question.

Altair caught a glimps of what Kir was feeling. he could also read what was on his mind for a better understanding. don't worry, if you want to have a voice, you can use me as your own for now. he thought to Kir. and really? your not this cute little form, Durrahn?? he replied to Archahn.

Kir slowly shook his head. He could hear others but others couldn't hear him.
Then he felt something in his back flare up in pain again. He hugged his knees tighter and held his breath. A few seconds later it passed.

Lily jumped when she felt Kir's pain. She was about to go in but then it died down and she leaned against the wall again. She felt so helpless at the moment.

Kir could sort of hear what Durrahn was thinking and he smiled painfully towards her. He was glad that Durrahn didn't really become a demon.

Kir, i can read other's thoughts, just try it, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Altair thought to Kir. he was also able to read Durrahn's thoughts as well it's ok for the fact that your a shadow demon, Durrahn. i don't mind what you are, it's your character is what i judge you by, and yours is as good as all our friends, near and far. but best to watch out for me, Durrahn, cause since i'm a free man again, i'm on the prowl, and i might come a hunting for ya, if you know what i mean he thought. he winked at Durrahn playfully.

Kir just silently scratched at his throat. He wasn't in the mood for communicating. He guessed the black crystallis in his neck was why Lily is acting like she is. He wanted to rip it out right then and there and forget about the consequences.

Kir silently coughed and tried to rip the crystallis out of his neck. He grit his teeth as his claws sank in. Blood trickled down his neck.

Some Might Say... Archahn didn't like the idea of the mand reading her mind, but thought little of it. She also didn't 'know what he meant'. When Kir started to rip into his neck, she hissed, but didn't know if she could do anything to stop him. ...The Saddest of Pandas
