Vlad looks confused, "The what moon? Hmm how about if we gather all our magic users and create cloud cover to block out the moon?"

"That wont work. It's called a blood moon. A blood moon is when the moon is red and it empowers creatures ten full." Still a bit panicky. Stiiting back down, "How are we going to defend against there attacks?"

Vlad rubs his chin, carefully thinking, "So even with blocking the moon it's power would still affect them? I see only two options. The first is we distract them with some variety of illusion like all of us marching out from the castle and lead them away. You'd think that would be enough?"

Vlad keeps rubbing his chin, "No the odds are way too low. You said tomorrow night not tonight so that means we'll have enough time if we work fast. We'll agree to all the terms our allies asked for, we don't have time to haggle. If they march heavy they could make it in time for the only other option I see as being viable."

"That might work. If we have enough people to form a plan that might work. But they're might be heavy causualties on all sides. So how would we compencate for that?" Marie asked as she was begining to be side tracked.

"There's only one way. Give them what they want, me. The boss man apparently is all hot and bothered about getting his hands on me. So when the messengers to the other kingdoms leave we send out an extra one where creature activity is heavy and he's assured to be captured. On him will be docments that indicate the allies are only agreeing to this because of me personally assuring them victory and that I and our kingdom's army be awaiting the allied armies in the valley east. We include in the documents that our allies will be a little later than they will be. The creatures will see us as all alone and an irresistable opportunity to strike. When they do attack the allies attck from the mountain passes. The creatures will be caught between the two of us."

"First of all we are not giving you to them! Secondly that is a good strategy, but what about the safety of the person who is captured? They don't like to hagle. And what about their powers?" Being so frustrated Marie mumbles, "If only half breeds were impowered too."

Vlad looks down, he figured she'd say something like that, "Yeah there is considerable danger to the messenger. I'd ask for a volunter whose willing to accept the risk. You can't order something like that. I'm the only one they'd want bad enough to draw them before they gain these new powers. If you have another suggestion I'm all ears."

Hanging her head, "Sadly no I don't. But I am not letting you give yourself to them! Or letting them take you at all!" Marie stares at him with worried eyes.

Marie feel into Vlad's arms and began to cry. "I'm not letting them touch you! Do you hear me? They wont be able to come near you." She held onto him tightly as she continued to cry.

Vlad rests his chin on the top of her head, wrapping his arms around her tightly, "That's why I'm going to be OK. The one thing I would never allow to happen is see you cry. You just don't look cute when you cry."
