Just to make things clear, is it based on the sto.... nevermind, i'll see what my lacking google-fu comes up with. ............................ Tv-series started in 2016. Jesse, Cassidy, Tulip ..... and arseface. Yup, that's the right comic. The TV show will diverge massively from the comics though, so people expecting a faithful rendition of the original will be highly disappointed.

No matter, really, the comic is a mess, but what I liked about it was the attitude, so if they'd managed to copy that .... I might check it out.

I was quite surprised by the movie, it did indeed not disappoint, or feel like pointless pandering, for the most part. Two biggest stand outs for me were.. 1. The utterly annoying and ******** idiotic Japanese school driving around in shitty Japanese tanks while sticking to the moronic of there being honour in charging headlong into battle. 2. The single Finnish tank showing up with no prior introduction or connection to the protagonists, then proceeding to steal the show when they get their moment. It was a fun moment, but they felt out of place. And yes, tears were shed at that one scene of heroic sacrifice.
