Angilwingz mystic_emerald 3nodding He PMs me as well...and ditto on the literacy aspect, but no need to publicly announce it, especially for new members? Perhaps a private PM would do in the future? sweatdrop Why not? I said it politely. I did not flame or attempt to belittle him. I merely stated that his typing could use some work. Everyone can see it. Besides, I'm sure he knows he types that way, though since he's new I doubt he realized that people don't tend to type in such a manner on gaia. Furthermore, I've yet to see anyone disagree.Forgive me for attempting to spare the feelings of such new members. You see, I recall an incident in which a similar case had arisen and the member, unfortunately, took it as a personal insult and left on bad terms. I merely thought that we could avoid that kind of confrontation and inform the person involved privately first, then if he/she does it again, well, I see no reason against publicly stating the fact then.

I just don't feel comfortable if somebody takes something the wrong way. Damn, am I too soft or what? sweatdrop

I merely thought that we could avoid that kind of confrontation and inform the person involved privately first, then if he/she does it again, well, I see no reason against publicly stating the fact then. hey, that type of stuff doesn't always work either... I've had nasty, rude, and just plain irritating PM conversations before... with members or denied applicants... Sometimes people are just looking for a fight... you know me, I'm always looking for ways to make newbies feel as wellcome as possible, and when that one gal tried to start a class that was closely linked with my own, I was all for her keeping it, and continually adressed the thing until it was over, expressin my suport for the poor girl... but, frankly, people who are just looking for a fight like that... well...I wouldn't really want them around anyways... lokerruff (forgive me, I don't remember what he likes to be called) seems like a nice guy... easy going, just fun in general... and I don't think he really seems like the type of guy to take such minor comments seriously... I mean, remeber when grey joined way back when? Alot of oldbies where giving him the cold sholder maybe not for this reason, but still, but he stuck it through, and now we all love and miss the guy... I think lokerruff has the same of likeable quality... 3nodding although no one will ever be quite like grey sweatdrop
