Well that had certainly been unexpected, she never thought that the girl's name would be close to her own, how odd. Lin grinned, "Neat," she murmured. Feng looked the girl up and down before rummaging through for clothes that would fit. She sometimes held the clothes to see if perhaps they would fit, the one thing though minus height wise there wasn't much worry about fitting. They were so thin.
"These should fit," Feng murmured folding them up and giving them to the girl, "Now let's see if Haradhel is ready to give you a bath."
Triton's tail unwrapped itself from around his waist, hanging up in the air like a snake of sorts, "This?" Triton murmured, "Yes, I'm really part cat, and the tail and ears are real."
She didn't find anything else on his arm and judging by the sick comment she could only guess how bad it was. Not to mention since he didn't remember.... Cindy let go of the boy's arm and went back to cleaning the foot.
"I don't know," she admitted to Aliya, "Sounds like a concusion he might have gotten at the fall. Damage does happen to the brain when you fall hard but I've never heard of anyone simply going nearly dead in one arm from it, but it is possible, but since he also hit the exposed nerve where the elbow is, it could be that. I'd say wait till the bruise on the elbow heals to see if it doesn't get better, but if its nerve damage it'll be permament."
She put the cloth away and began to put the same time of cream on his foot.
"Like the girl I'm going to give him a cream and medicine treatment for the cut since it is infected."

Lindis smiled and reached for the doll that had been left behind by the other girl. "Lin ... doll?" she said, holding it out in offering.
The girl nodded at Feng, understanding the tone if not the words, and hugged her new clothes to her chest protectively. She stepped close to Feng's side and slipped one hand into hers, waiting to be led to where she was supposed to go.
The boy grinned at Triton, then giggled. "That's funny," he told the neko happily. He looked up at him curiously. "What you do here? You live here? Where you come from?"
Aliya looked at Cindy anxiously. "Should I try healing him by magic?" she asked softly. "Considering how bad it is ... it might be a good idea ..."
And to be honest, she had never seen a non-magic way of healing before, and she wasn't sure she trusted these creams that Cindy was using to do the job properly. With an infection as far progressed as the boy's already was, time was of the utmost importance ...

Lin grinned taking it and hugging it, "Thank you," she replied.
She wished she could help more with the talking but this was good too.
"Play?" Feng smiled and led the little girl back to the main room, peeking in to see how things were going.
"Haradhel? Are you ready for the first child?" Feng asked.
She wasn't sure at all how many children would be taking a bath. Since at the moment it was just Haradhel and Elrohir. Though she supposed Ryu might be able to help, or something.. .she wasn't so sure.
"Well, I'm here just for as visit," Triton explained, "I live very far away with the human who brought you here."
"I would suggest it," Cindy replied, "Especially since if he did hit his head, and then became sick, they probably made him work which made it worse which is why he became sick."

"Upstairs," Elrohir told Feng from where he was helping Ryu with the few other children who were waiting for Aliya. "She's getting the baths ready on the third floor, at the top of the stairs go down the hall, turn left at the end and she should be there."

Lindis hugged her own doll and looked at Lin quizzically. "Play?" she repeated curiously.
The boy grinned up at Triton. "He was a nice human," he said matter-of-factly. "All the other humans were mean but he never hurted us or nothing. He gived us yummy food and blankets at night."
He nodded seriously. "Yup, th'only nice human I ever knowed." He paused and peered around Triton, looking for Feng, but when he didn't see her he shrugged and looked up at him again. "And that girl that was just here and the other guy but that was all."
Aliya nodded and motioned towards the children that were still waiting with Elrohir and Ryu. "Take care of them," she instructed, "I'll take him to Mum right away, I'll be back in an hour or so, depending on how it goes. I'll take a horse to go faster."
And with that she lifted the boy into her arms and headed out of the room, and out of the house.

"Uhm...." Lin murmured trying to think about it, but without being able to communicate with her there was no way to explain play, "I don't know how to say..." she murmured thoughtfully.
"Ah... Feng and Ryu," Triton murmured, "Yes they're very nice, they've always been like that."
Well he wasn't sure about Donovan, but seeing Long once he was pretty sure even Donovan was... always nice. In his own way....
"Okay then," Cindy nodded, "Let's get to work on the others then."
She stood up so she could stretch a bit before getting onto the other children.

Lindis smiled and reached over to Lin, putting one hand on her shoulder to make her feel better. "Doll," she smiled, nodding at the doll in Lin's arms. She held up her own doll and rocked it back and forth in exaggerated movements to show Lin.
The boy grinned at Triton. "You're nice too," he told him as if it were the greatest compliment he could give.
The next child that Cindy needed to look at was another boy, younger than the others had been, who had one hand bandaged up loosely. He sat on the floor in front of Cindy, his eyes downcast, and held his hand up for her to look at.

Lin blinked and grinned rocking her own doll like it was a baby, though Lin really wasn't the type to play house and stuff like that she knew how to. She saw her Mommy be a Mommy lots of times adn she held the baby like her Mommy would Jin.
"It's a baby!"
"Why thank you," Triton grinned, "I'm glad you think so, some people might think of me a bit odd."
Though this is from what he gathered from a bit of his own travelling.
"Okay," Feng nodded as she led the child towards the stairs, "Up we go, the baths are nice and I'm sure the water will be warm," she told the little girl.
Cindy took a seat again taking the hand, "And what happened to you?" she asked.
Depending on Elrohir to translate for her or for the boy to know English.

The little girl giggled and held her doll just like Lin was doing. "Baby?" she repeated, her tone questioning.
The boy grinned at Triton. "Well I never seed no one with a tail or kitty ears afore," he told him matter of factly. "Or wings or nothing. So yup you're odd, but I like you. You're nice."
It was one of those cases where odd was good, because there was no association with bad experiences.
The little girl held Feng's hand tightly, clutching her new clothes to her chest with her other hand. Though her eyes were filled with uncertainty, she was smiling brightly as she followed Feng.

Elrohir spoke with the boy for a few moments, then looked up at Cindy. "He says fire," he shrugged, "nothing else."
The boy tugged at the bandaging that was wrapped around his hand as if trying to take it off for Cindy.

"Ah...." Lin rocked the doll, "Doll, Baby doll."
She wasn't sure if that would go over well, but it was the closest she could explain since they didn't speak the same language at all.
Triton chuckled at that, somehow this whole situation was very familiar to him. Though it should be in a way.
"Well, I would expect not, if you had I would have to wonder, there really aren't any others like me around here."
In moments Feng peeked into the bathing area to find Haradhel, "Hara-chan!" Feng called out, she couldn't help it.
The first two sounds of Haradhel's name could come from any Japanese name that might exist. So it sounded only natural to Feng, granted it went along just nice with Nara-chan anyhow.
"Here, let me," Cindy murmured as she carefully unwrapped the boy's hand.
She didn't know what to expect, but the word fire didn't make it sound so good, though she wished he would speak more.

"In here!" Haradhel called back from where she was kneeling next to a steaming wooden bathing tub. She looked over her shoulder and smiled at Feng and the little girl, then held out one hand. "Come on," she said in an inviting tone. "Come get clean, and then you can put on clean clothes and we'll see about finding you a warm, comfortable bed, and then you can sleep, all right?"
The girl looked up at Feng anxiously and squeezed her hand slightly, clutching her clean clothes even closer to her chest, almost as if asking her if it was all right.
The boy's palm was blistered and raw, but it looked as though someone had put a poultice of some sort on it, because there was some white cream on it. Still, it didn't look fresh, and it didn't look like it was healing well at all.

Lindis nodded and bounced her doll a bit. "Baby doll," she agreed. She looked around a bit as if searching for something, then shrugged her shoulders and spoke two words in elvish and proceeded to pretend to feed her doll with her fingers.
The boy giggled at Triton. "You're from somewhere far far away aren't you?" he asked. "Just like the human that saved us! He's from somewhere very far far away, not where the other humans come from! Right?"

"It's okay," Feng smiled down at the girl, "Haradhel is going to help you wash up, and it's good and warm too. Baths are fun, at least I think so and you'll feel good afterwards."
At least that's what Feng thought anyhow, she would hope that would be the case.
Lin caught on quickly, normally she would give the baby a bottle, but there weren't any bottles. So she just pretended she had a bottle in the first place.
"Feeding baby," Lin announced.
"That's right," Triton nodded, "Home is a long way from here, and it is very different from here too."
Well that was the understatement of the century, if a long way was a world away and very diffierent in ways most couldn't imagine.
"Cold water," Cindy murmured, "Instead of warm this time, it'll just irratate the skin more."
She wondered how he ended up burning himself so badly like that, maybe they made him cook or something. Though Cindy could only imagine.
"Whatever they put on it might have worked if it was cleaned and reapplied reguarly," Pigs at this point would fly first... wait she was from Gaia.. okay the sky would turn green first, "I'm going to need softer bandages," she added as she let go to search for the ones she wanted.

The little girl smiled then and let go of Feng's hand, moving slowly over towards Haradhel.
Haradhel put one hand on the girl's shoulder and smiled at her, then smiled up at Feng. "We've got three more tubs here," she told her, "if you'd like to get up to three more girls we can get them all through the bath right away."
The little boy cupped his injured hand in his good one and put his head against Elrohir's chest as he waited for Cindy to come back. The air felt good on it, and he smiled faintly, his eyes drooping sleepily.
