Ryu smiles some, then takes one hand and places it gently under her chin. He then lifts her gaze to his face and says "I've only room for one adult vampress in my life right now and I'm looking at her" he then leans down some and gives her a tender, loving kiss on the lips.

She returned his kiss but broke it shortly after. "I don't mean like that. I just meant do go looking for her for the fun or the danger of it. Promise me."

He smiles some and says "you have my word, I'll not be going anywhere, especially to Egypt." He then gives her another comforting hug before leading her back to the others.

Kitsuna looked at Lyoko with a worried expression. Lyoko smiled softly, letting her know she was ok. "Lord Iro, I want to appologise for the way I acted. I was taught to act that way, joking or not. I'm sorry."

She smiled softly and leaned against Ryu when he sat down, resting her head on his shoulder. "Well, back to the stories, Lord Iro, you have yet to tell us one of your stories. Care to share one?"

Ryu smiles and loops and arm round Lyoko's waist before looking to his lord. Iro smiles and nods saying "quite right I've yet to tell a tale. Hmmm...now what would be a good story to recount..." he rubbed his chin in thought. having lived as long as he did, it was hard to recall which story was worth telling.
((need time to thinkg of a good story.))

Kitsuna leaned her head back into his lap and looked up at him, waiting patiently. Lyoko snuggled close to Ryu and also waited patiently. Kari had left a while ago to lay around the basket where he cubs were sleeping. "What about that story you told me?" Kitsuna asked. "The one with the Yuan-ti people?" ((Snake people, look it up if you can.))

((surprizingly I knew exactly what you were talking about))
Iro looks to Kitsuna and says "Ah yes the Yuan-Ti. A dangerous sort, quick vicious and stealthy. This was well before I first met Ryu here. It was during my years of expanding my domain. I took some of my best warrior to this one dark forest to survey the land and determine it's usefulness."
((will come up with more story later, brain too tired to think))

Lyoko was silent for a moment, thinking. "Aren't the Yuan-Ti people the snake people? The half-bloods are more like snakes while the pure-bloods are more human like?" She wasn't sure if she was getting her "legends" mixed up. ((I know what they are I just needed something))

Iro shakes his head and says "actually it's the reverse...i think. I never really delved into the blood line issue. Any way, as my men surveyed the forest something begain to claim the lives of my men right and left till only I and my elite guard remained, We were making our way out before suddenly we were ambushed. Fight as we may, few of their kind fell before i was the only one left. the leader revealed himself, a tower of serpentine muscle. the fight was long and hard, finally our respective wounds forced a draw. I was still captured, but alive and being taken back to their den. For what reason i knew not at the time."

Lyoko drew down the light from the moon and used it to shape the pure blood and the half blood. The half blood was more cerpent like while the pure blood was mostly human until you got up close. "I believe this is what a pure blood and a half blod look like, if my memory serves me correct. And it usually does." She sent the images over to Iro to look over.

Iro looked tot he images and his older memories clicked as he said "Ah yes, i recall now, their queen looked more humanoid so naturally she would have been pure blood. Any way, i was brought back to their den where I was interrogated as to why I was in their territory. I explained my point but it only seemed to anger them. Their queen had been watching me as i was beaten into answers and I can only assume she had taken a fancy to me when she suggested a challenge for me, rather than an execution."

Lyoko waved away the light and thought to Ryu after rolling her eyes. ~How ironic, another girl who "falls" for his 'charm'.~ She his her smile by burring her face in Ryu's chest, simply trying to pass off as tired.
