Gil turned his nose up at the thought "Not really an appropriate reward for a sword combat tournament I doubt most sword users know the first thing of alchemy I sure don't" he grunted thinking it was an oversight on behalf of the tournament.
Oassu scratched his chin in thoughts "So if Mari was hypothetically a darklord why is she so nice? And also why do we still get attacked by fiends when we're with her then?" he asked curious now "And is your family looking for Kurgan like Zadina?" he asked.
Itaka chuckled "And there is loads of out of battle fun to be had" he said kissing Seph's neck "Once we're all done eating anyway can take you home and relax in the hot tub and celebrate your awesomeness" he said smiling.
Mari giggled "Nah not really you're just confident but you have to admit Oassu and Satoshi are mega speedy too!" she said giving her friend a hug "You've easily got the most energy of the group and would probably outrun them in the long run!" she insisted.

Seph grinned and stuk her chest out proudly "Well it is true that I am just that great I need to be celebrated anyway and the battles can be a bit boring serious for a competition so it sounds like a good idea. So long as we don't overcelebrate for I haven't won the tournament just yet, got some tough people to take on" she added resisting the urge to spy on Gil like Itaka had done earlier.
Hebal nodded somewhat relieved she wasn't saying she was arrogant "Oh ok, sure they can run reasonably fast for shortish distences but I could run for miles. Probably doesn't help Satoshi having those short legs of hers" she answered returning the hug "Oh well Oassu is most likely stronger than me and Satoshi is a better strategist for sure"

Satoshi shrugged "Maybe its one of those rare items one can use to make your sword significantly more powerful or enchanted to have an element to it as that is a kind of alchemy that relates to battling but I do agree... guess the prize money is a bigger draw this year"
"What about you Oassu, you are a thief are you not? Someone associated with bad things so why aren't you a bad person. Just because someone has the potential to be evil it doesn't mean they wish to. I just said the majority of them are" Elithana explained wondering if he would pick up on the fact she had just given him a compliment.
Felina smiled surprised at how Elithana was trying to be nice "Didn't I tell you already, yeah theres a few elves trying to search for him. There was more originally looking but resources are probably a bit more limited right now considering the capital is in a bit of a state from the battle" she sighed "... but never mind I'm sure everything will be up and running by the time we return"

Gil grunted "I suppose so, could always sell it for more money since you'd need to know how alchemy works or be an enchanter to magically enhance a blade that way but we'll see we know what it's used for anyway" he smirked
Oassu nodded slowly understanding "Ok....I suppose so though some might still call me evil for what I do but I know much worse" he said "Still I suppose it's to be expected you're looking for Kurgin would be unlike the elvish royal family to not look out for each other" he said
Itaka chuckled stroking Seph's tummy "Yeah you might have to fight Gil tomorrow though I suppose you could probably do that anytime you like at request, sometimes I wonder how long he'll stay with the group, he is a mercenary hero after all" he pondered.
Mari shook her head "I don't know, there's no way he can match the strength you get when you jump and land and dragoon's aren't exactly known for being weaklings, definitely thought of as stronger than thiefs and ninja's as far as I've heard" she said.

Seph paused glancing over at Gil and Satoshi who were chatting away across the table "I dunno how long Gil is planning on staying with us but I think I can safely say the thought is currently not something very high up on his mind. Not when theres such a big distraction sitting next to him" she snickered "I dunno about you but I am in no hurry to suggest him leaving even if we hardly ever speak"
Hebal smiled surprised "Nobody has ever really compared me to a ninja before but their jutsu are really impressive and I don't know if my blue magic could match up to it cause theres just so many of them around" she gasped grabbing herself a bowl of ice cream which she proceeded to balence on her head.

Satoshi smiled lazily summoning up one of her clones to fetch her another portion of ice cream "I know Felina and Oassu will be happy with it regardless, maybe the item they want is a result of alchemy or potion make type things. Still I guess the prize money is probably nowhere near as much as people would pay for you normally"
Elithana grunted reluctantly answering to Oassu "Oh just be quiet about that and learn to accept a compliment once in a while. It's not everyday I'll say a thief isn't so bad and I probably won't for a long time to come"
Felina nodded "Well of course, even if some of his actions were somewhat... questionable it doesn't mean we wouldn't care enough to see if he is ok. Families tend to stick together so long as they aren't trying to kill eachother, which of course isn't uncommon within wealthy families but lets not go into that" she quietly added.

Gil smiled "I guess...well it might not be so bad, some people don't even pay me but instead offer me items or information sometimes" he shrugged watching the clone bring back ice cream "Still any money is good if I win would you like me to buy you something nice?" he asked.
Oassu laughed "Sorry Elithana I'll learn though I think Kurgan only really went to Narasaela's side to protect his brother, he didn't seem like a really bad person" he said "Hopefully we'll find him sure Zadina would like that" he said.
Itaka nodded "Yeah I know I know I wasn't saying we suggest he leaves, I'm just thinking he must get a fair share of jobs that he doesn't tell us about while travelling with us, with lots of high salaries and stuff being a mercenary with such a reputation" he said pondering what sort of jobs Gil had done before.
Mari giggled "I dunno your jumping abilities are certainly top notch but don't you worry with your blue magic you'll just get stronger and stronger" she said not hugging her friend for fear of knocking the bowl down.

Seph nodded "Yeah I bet he will, I mean I still get the odd job given to me via mognet I don't tell people about though none as rewarding as Gil's I bet. Still my reputation won't be going downhill for I was always known for being picky with what jobs I took though there are one or two tempting ones placed in front of me" she admitted thinking about a more personal one stuffed inside her bag somewhere.
Hebal's smile widened while she bounced her way around the table and into the direction her seat was located in "Oh sure my jumping rocks but I could use some more fiends around to learn magic from... you seem to have a way with things, maybe you could be my assistant in learning new skills, just dont try teaching me Sophia's stuff" she giggled.

Satoshi shook her head dismissing that particular clone before she attempted to disagree "Nah you keep that gil, you're not exactly making any money from hanging around with us lot are you, probably cost you a bit from turning down contracts too" she answered trying to break up her dessert with her spoon.
Elithana yawned but gave Oassu a nod "Thats what we thought really, like everyone is aware of the situation between their mother and Narasaela. Otherwise nobody would bother to look for him as a lot of bother with the dwarves happened that he was to agree involved in"
Felina grinned scanning the room for where Zadina had got to "I know for a fact Zadina would be over the moon to see his brother again, heared he was going to try looking himself one day and try using the mognet and things so clearly wants his brother. Probably wants to tell him all about our travels too"

Gil smiled "Sure but your welcome to a few treats on me if you like" he said happily watching sleepy Satoshi "You'll be giving me a friendly place to stay this dragon festival anyway consider it like my share of rent" he chuckled.
Oassu frowned "The situation between Narasaela and Zadina's mother?" he questioned "What's that about anyway?" he asked slipping an arm around Felina "I didn't really think about what happened to the rest of his family" he said sitting back.
Itaka raised an eyebrow "Oh? What's that job like, if you need a little extra muscle to come along on your quest I'd help you out" he said nuzzling her slightly "I forget you're a mercenary....has Oassu actually paid you for originally hiring you?" he whispered.
Mari giggled "How could I help you learn new skills?" she said "I don't know the first thing about blue magic and Sophia doesn't really know how to use her powers anyway I'll bet" she said stroking her snoozing tonberry's head.

Seph nodded "Yeah he's payed back the debts, I took it out of his share of the reward for getting that book back from Neliel my client wanted. But I'm not leaving the group to do some missions and I am already relaxing with you over the dragon festival so Decarabia will just have to live with a few extra immigration people chasing her about which I know she can handle really" she assured Itaka leaning against his shoulder.
Hebal cleared her throat pulling Mari back towards her seat with her "Well you just let me watch you do loads of awesome abilities then maybe try a few out on me. I learn by watching and stuff so maybe if lucky you'll have a skill I can learn see" she explained twirling the bowl around on her head "Just extra training would do"

Satoshi scratched her head "Well... its only a very small apartment that I live in since I spend so much time away so you might be a little squished meaning you don't need rent. But if you wanted to get me something nice, the dragon festival is all about giving, plus it is my birthday the day after"
"It's meant to be classified information, mainly for his protection but put it this way. Stuff happened and as a result Zadina is without parents to look after him" Elithana cut in before Felina would have the opportunity to give him the full story "Even royals have skeletons in their closets.
Felina hesitated eventually deciding to whisper to Oassu "In a nutshell, their mother and my aunt was a strong supporter of Narasaela and ultimately as a result of that she ended up getting killed and dad had a big falling out with his brother and to our knowledge uncle is now missing"

Gil chuckled "True lucky you getting loads of presents from me, now just need to wonder what you want for the Dragon festival is there any kinda traditional gift to give a ninja on her birthday?" he asked.
Oassu nodded deciding to keep the secret between him an Felina "Well....thats a little curious but I won't pry...I take it Zadina doesn't know since it's for his protection?" he asked.
Itaka nodded "Guess thats ok but I'm sure we could get some time to help Decarabia out...though..." he paused for a moment "The immigration offices for demons is run by all of the main world I don't know if it'd be wise to oppose them" he admitted quietly.
Mari smiled "I doubt I'd really want to hurt you like that besides to my understanding you can only learn monster abilities but I wouldn't wanna just try all my techniques on you and I doubt they'd all work since many of my techniques require swords." she said settling down at the table once more.

Seph chuckled "Its actually a very small office nowerdays since theres too few demons about that have been unregistered who weren't born within thos place post war but theres still a load of dedicated officials. And like I said, Decarabia has managed to slip past them constantly for centuries so if things get really bad and she needs help chances are she will burst in through a window or something to say hi to us" she quietly answered back while she lifted up her foot where her number had been scarred in.
Hebal sighed slumping down on her chair and finally placing the bowl down somewhere stable "ahh this is going to be so nice! But you would be so surprised at just what you can learn, can be from the most unlikliest if things and people. Swords are so overrated, people should learn spear more" she added with a laugh.

Satoshi smirked "Theres no traditional gift for a 24th birthday. Theres only a kunai for the birthday after becoming a ninja and if female a kimono when you come of age but apart from that its just the same stuff that you would get any other time. I'm thinking about getting you some kind of village souvenir for the festival" she ifnormed him thinking of the stuff that usually gets sold.
Elithana shook her head "Not yet though I suspect that Kurgan might know already. But how do you tell Zadina something like that without causing a major upset. I think its best either dad tells him or his brother does when a little older" she muttered.
Felina sighed mentally agreeing with Elithana "You gotta feel sorry for the poor lad but for now its best we just let him have as much fun as possible right now, it can't be easy for a lad his age to have no main family around him" she agreed
