Ryou was finding it harder and harder to calmly ignore Bakura. Khalid had a hold of his hand and would squeeze it sharply every now and then, but that didn't exactly help too much. He struggled to keep focused on the others, smiling faintly at his son.

After a moment kai took his pony and reached out to give it to ryou. He wanted his father to play with him.

Khalid took the toy instead, and handed it promptly back to Kai. "Your father isn't in the mood to play, Kai." He said, doubting the toddler would understand.

Tears filled up kai's eyes. Kira wiped them away and took the pony "there there. Look at the pony kai! It's dancing for you!" kira said making the pony dance.

Luckily they were soon at the mansion. Khalid helped Ryou up and, without a backward glance at the others, brought him into the house. Pegasus got out of the automobile and held the door open for the others. "As far as I understand it, the only people living here are Ryou, Khalid, and Kira. Will you others be staying for a while, or would you rather go home right now?"

Ember sighed "We should let then rest.We'll be going home."
"Would you mind driving them home?" Kira asked crougt (cant spell his name) as she got kai out of his seat.

Croquet, his eyes hidden behind his dark glasses, nodded shortly and closed the side door after Kira and Kai. He got back into the driver's seat and started off.
Pegasus waited a moment as his henchman left, and then turned towards Kira. "I don't suppose there's any reason to stay out here." He said, then suddenly realized that Croquet had left without giving him a chance to unpack his art things. "Ah, he'll be back..." He muttered.

"Hopefully." Pegasus said, nodding. He decided it wouldn't be wise to stay outside and wait, and started towards the house. "That man, Khalid, tells me you were just brought back from the dead." He said, in serious tones. "Congratulations on that."
Khalid felt evil and overly cruel as he forced Ryou to take the tranquilizers. The boy resisted, of course. Khalid kept telling him it would help, and finally managed to make them go down. He brought Ryou into their shared bedroom and sat him down on the bed. "Now, let's just wait for them to kick in. You want to sleep, right? Sleeping is good for you."

Pegasus held the door open for Kira when they reached the house. "I feel awkward. I'm not sure if this is my house now or yours. I don't know if I should offer you a drink or if you should be doing it for me." He said cheerfully. "In any case, would you like a drink?"

Kira thanked him as he held the door open. "heh. A drink would be nice.I'll get it. I should get kai somthing to drink.
Luci was already inside sitting on the couch and reading the box to his new karioke player.

"Yea" Luci said itching his chin "Damn me and my lack of tenolagy knowlage...." luci muttered. "Kira!" luci yelled "Come put this damn thing togther!"
Kira sighed and came out of the kicthen with a glass of whine and a glass of water. Kai was holding a sippy cup. "here" kira said handing the glass of wine to pegasus.

"Ah, thank you!" Pegasus was really pleased to see his favorite drink handed to him by a beautiful young woman. It was something that never happened any more. He took of sip and watched the demon. "I'd offer my own assistance, but I prbably know less than you. Kaiba-boy always liked to play with gears, though."
