Gil nodded "So just go along with Zadina you'll probably get sphere's in there so you can get a close up of the action anyway" he said stroking Satoshi's arm "And I think they do free food and drink in there." he said.
Oassu nodded "Well I'd say they are a little territorial since they always approach you to stab you if you re in their territory but if you walk away at a brisk pace you should be fine" he said patting Cid "Still shame these two guys can't get along" he said.
Itaka smiled stroking Seph's wing "Well hush now you don't need to tell me about it if you don't want to no doubt there's nothing good down there anyway for us" he said kissing her "Got no plans on going back there so relax." he said
Zadina scratched the side of his head "Well I suppose I could try Miss Hebal if you're sure though I doubt I'll ever manage to BEAT Sir Gil it would be good to go faster and do those fun things you said" he suggested.
Mari smiled ruffling Zadina's hair "That's the spirit kiddo besides I'm sure Miss Hebal would be gentle and not do anything that would harm you in training" she said "Plus you'll be so much better at tig than before" she added

Seph quietly laughed feeling somewhat ticklish around her wing "Ok ok I will try to relax again not that I was all that tense to begin with. We can stick to exploring the not so scary legendary places rumoured to have many treasures, I know where we can find a dragons layer thats now empty as the dragon who lived there died, should be loads of gold in there" she answered before pulling him into a kiss.
Hebal giggled "Yep far better than Mari unless she were to put herself forward for the training too and you might beat sir Gil if you can get him from behind before he has a time to respond to it. And I'm all for safety and things so could put loads of safety mats out and soft fluffy pillows in case you were to fall off a building"

Satoshi nodded "Yeah they do free food and drink and give you like your own little private lounge area with spheres and windows and everything according to what I've heared, somewhat luxurious. So what would be the first thing you would do if you reached the finals and found out you won" she wondered.
Elithana scratched her chin in thought "Some might even let you pass though they would watch you the whole time. That is if they think that you could be of no possible threat to them... Zadina is probably the only one in your group who could get away with it, not carrying an overly obvious weapon"
Felina nodded lifting Cid up onto the table now no food was about "Maybe they will get a long in time and with a bit of encouragement... could introduce her to him in small doses at a time and give him a carrot everytime he doesn't go away and Sophia one two so she doesn't get jealous" she planned out

Gil scratched his chin in thought "Well I'd probably go get something to eat or go see you" he shrugged "It's nothing really special to me, the prize isn't even presented until the ball later so nothing really immediate to do" he chuckled.
Oassu frowned "Shame Zadina is actually probably one of the stronger ones given his magical ability but they are still pretty scary things" he said imagining how unnerving it would be having one watch him but not advancing "Yeah that could work if Sophia even likes carrots she might be more happy with a slice of cake" he chuckled recalling Sophia hiding with the cake earlier.
Itaka chuckled "Wow you know of something like that? I'm a little surprised you haven't cleaned it out yet but isn't a dragon layer going to be filled with loads of dangers?" he asked "Even without the dragon?" he said.
Mari stuck her tongue out at Hebal "Hey I can move fast enough still you two will have a good time training I'm sure" she chuckled picturing it.
Zadina nodded "Ok but Sir Gil is really fast too, he once won a race with a speedy moomba!" he said excitedly "Still as long as it's all safe I'd be happy to train with you Miss Hebal but please excuse me" he said hopping off back to the table to finish his dessert

Seph laughed louder and nodded "And why do you think I have not been in it since before I got my magic little bag of wonders; Its also incredibly smelly in there for I believe whats left of the dragons food and things are probably still around in there and things so a peg for the nose is a requirement I need too"
Hebal cheered happy to have convinced Zadina to train with her "You really should join us Mari, you could get a few useful tips and skills out of it too. But lets face it you may be fast but I am the ultimate speed queen of this group and always will be" she boasted filling a bowl with lime jelly as she moved around the table.

Satoshi laughed "Hehe if I'm going to be watching up in the V.I.P area you're not going to be able to see me for at least a little while. Firstly because your not allowed in there, secondly you'll have to try and make your way through a sea of media wanting pictures and interviews along with fans just to get anywhere near the V.I.P enterence"
Elithana smiled proudly after having hear Oassu acknowledge her cousins abilities "Yes he is strong with his magic but the point is, a boy carrying a book no matter how strong he is looks a lot less of a threat than a weaker but bigger looking man carrying a sword or two
Felina laughed re calling the cake incident earlier "Well sure they can have a little cake so long as they don't get really fat from it. I would rather just leave than have a tonberry costantly watching me and possible plotting against me while I went past. They seem smart enough creatures to me"

Gil smiled "Well I suppose I could do the celebrity thing and give an interview or two as well as a picture, after all it would be downright rude not to comment on my victory I suppose seeing as it's such a major thing" he said stretching "Just promise to come an rescue me from them at some point" he chuckled.
Oassu nodded "I suppose so good thing they can't sense magic then but I'll be happy so long as I never have to see an angry tonberry again" he sighed glancing at Felina "And I think Sophia is a good indicative of how they are intelligent, Mari at least seems able to communicate with her" he said.
Itaka groaned "That's a bit disgusting but guess a gas mask might not go amiss if it's so bad" he said not relishing the thought of dragon remains "Wouldn't the person who killed the dragon not take all the treasure and how did you find this place?" he asked
Mari chuckled "I guess so but I dunno Satoshi is a pretty fast ninja after all, she might be able to give you a good run" she said tentatively deciding against anymore desserts "And you must get tired sometimes" she said

Seph rolled her eyes unaware she could have made things a little clearer "I said the dragon died, not that he was killed. They suffer from old age just like we do, I saw it just fall asleep and never wake up. Anyway because I was in the mountains a lot during the war I got a good knowledge of the areas and if you patrol an area for long enough time you get to know it like the back of your hand, every last cave and peak and occasional hut"
Hebal shook her head in disbelief "Nah uh you are so wrong! Satoshi is only so fast because she can instantly teleport from place to place which is so not the same as running and unlike her my skill of running up the wall isn't aided by jutsu stuff" she disagreed.

Satoshi smirked, her eyebrow raised "Its not everyday that the fair maiden has to come and rescue the hero but sure why not with the power of teleportation I shall try and rescue you after a minute or 20 of media people wanting your attention and a speech. Just be sure to make an awesome pose in case they archive it" she teased.
Felina sighed and nodded "Yeah that means that Cid isn't going to receive any tonberry trouble like ever so has nothing to fear" she grinned pressing the bunny's nose playfully "Do you think Mari could teach us to communicate with Cid better, hes definitely an intelligent little thing to do magical beam attacks"
Elithana glanced around making sure Mari wasn't around before whispering "You know that the level of control and communication over fiends is very suspicious. Usually either a beast master/trainer, an extremely powerful mage or a dark lord can do that and Mari is none of those to my knowledge"

Gil smiled "True sure it would make for an interesting disappearance but no one would really wanna be held up there too long, hell I imagine the conference will probably go on later at the ceremony" he shrugged "Oh well can't get out of that one" he said shaking his head "But look at me....I've not even won yet should consider more modesty" he muttered somewhat ashamed by his words.
Oassu gasped slightly hearing Elithana "Ok I knew about the beastmaster thing but go no idea that mages could control them and I've never even heard of Darklords before...." he whispered "What are they and what sort of things can they do?" he asked
Itaka nodded "I guess so though it's disturbing you would have better knowledge of our world than us with your war reconnaissance" he chuckled "Still I suppose with your wings you can get to more places than us" he concluded.
Mari smiled "I dunno, Oassu is certainly fast and he's a ninja, Satoshi must have some good degree of speed and how is it you run up walls anyway? It must be possible to do without her jutsu stuff if you can do it." she pondered.

Seph shook her head "I didn't get my good knowledge of the world by the war, most of it came from centuries of exploring but with the war I was always stationed where it would be more difficult for demons that don't fly to reach ie: high places like all the mountain areas. I know very little about other places like the desert where all the fire demons went"
Hebal cleared her throat preparing for a potentially long lecture depending on how well Mari understood it "Anyone can do it so long as they can get the momentum to propel themselves upwards which is most easily done by picking up speed. The faster you can go the easier it is to go further up a wall" she explained speeding up a little herself after all the speeding talk.

Satoshi yawned and drank some more of her almost unusued cup of coffee in front of her "Theres nothing wrong with knowing you stand a very good chance of winning the competition so long as it doesn't go completely to your head. Its not like your boasting to people or showing off so its ok" she stated patting him on the shoulder.
"Darklords are... special people so to speak who have the power to control fiends who see them as like a king or queen. The people who have this ability almost always have extremely high affinity with darkness and this are more often than not somewhat evil people with tonberries being their most common servents. Or at least thats what the books say" Elithana whispered only after speaking thinking she should have said a little less.
Felina simply laughed in disbelief "Now your just being a little over the top there. Sure she's good with Sophia but she's definitely not evil and all dark like what you described. You read too many stories from the sound of it" she answered dismissing the information.

Gil smiled "I suppose so we'll need to see I may be surprised yet" he said taking a drink "Though hopefully not as it means Felina and Oassu will get their item easily, I'm not really sure what use a gambler's spirit is on it's own anyway or what it even looks like" he pondered.
Oassu chuckled "Well she can't be a darklord then, would be too easy adventuring then all the fiends would just get out of the way and make our life so easy still I thought people like that only existed in fairytales and stuff" he said.
Itaka grunted "Just basic strategy ain't it but enough about the war" he said swiftly "Looking forward to your matches tomorrow?" he asked changing the subject.
Mari nodded "So you don't know Satoshi might be able to do that if she's fast enough" she giggled "You shouldn't get too arrogant my little speed queen" she warned

Seph shook her head "Not overly if I'm honest with you, I mean it would feel a little bad if I had to beat Mari up but overall I'm just not all hyped up yet because I don't know who I'm going to be up against just yet. Plus right now I am ready to have some out of battle fun" she laughed.
Hebal blushed pulling Mari along at her quickened pace "But she also might not be. I think you just want to see all of us enter some kind of urban sprinting race competiton thingy in secret" she giggled but soon stopped and stood still for a moment "Aww do you really think I am that arrogant?" she asked as what Mari had said finally clicked.

Satoshi scratched her head "hmm... you know I don't really know what it is either but I think I heared from Alpha it could be used as a very valuble alchemy item but I guess we'll get a clue once we see what it looks like, I think it might be a liquid thing that takes the shape of a ball but I might be mixing it up with something else"
Elithana glared somewhat annoyed she wasn't being taken that seriously "Theres a lot to be said in fairy tales, theres that bizarre elf story that fairies sometimes possess the bodies of elf children and bless them in magic but that doesn't mean that there is no truth behind the story. Besides if a darklord did not want to encounter many fiends because in the back of their mind it is associated with battles and daner then chances are the fiends would feel no need to be near the person"
Felina tutted ignoring the glare "I still think that you are being paranoid and I do believe my friend is perfectly normal and just is a natural with them. But if it really is an issue for you then we will bear it in mind" she answered dismissing that topic "Have you heared any news about Kurgan since we last say you?" she asked changing the subject.
"Nope not a thing, nor any leads so for all we know he could be still alive somewhere if I am being positive but I wouldn't bring it up with Zadina in case it upsets him" Elithana replied accepting what had been said.
