Sstrl, of all people, entered the front doors of Meilikki's manor, carrying an oddly shapped bundle. It was rectangular, and covered with cloth. He walked through the entrance, and looked about the greeting hall. He spotted a window in the eastern end of the hall, and noticed that it had a flower vase on it. Slightly presumptious, he walked over to the vase, and moved it across the room with a flick of his tail. It landed roughly, but upright on a table on the opposite side of the room. Economy of motion could achieve marvellous things.
He whipped off the table with a cloth he pulled from his belt, and lay the rectangual package on the now emptied table. He unfolded the cloth, to reveal a pair of finely crafted wooden block, that were pressed together by a leather strap. He untied the strap, and removed the top rectangular block.
Sitting very delicately on the lower block was the remains of a very battered katana. The blade was shattered like glass, and the hilt mostly removed. The wooden handle was splintered. The shards were arranged to resemble the old weapon, but allowed to sprawl in a very artistic way. It appeared like a relic on the wooden pedistul, like an item to be regarded with much love. It was Cedric's sword.
Before anyone could see him, he quickly placed the top block under the table, and rearranged the flower pots to look more natural paired. He looked about to make sure no one noticed him, and left the entrance hall to find somewhere to meditate.

the cleric girl only shook her head lightly.
"my master wouldn't allow it without reason. though I will not say that such is not beyond the power of a necromancer."
She of course, had not been briefed by the others in what her roles adn what she could and coudl not say.
"If you lord wanted the purian penninsula..why would he use an orc horde. he coudl come himself...with his necromancers, this battle would have been won in short time. all deaths only increase my master's armies."
A look over at the large minotaur.
"Or perhaps a necromancer without permisson did a private experiment. he coudl not divulge the results, because our lord would not have been pleased. and our lord is not known of being kind to those that displease. The orcs had laid thier weapons to us too..we had one raid during the tunnel construction. They fell before your golem copy. I think you may have been proud of it's performance. once this horde started moving..there woudl be no way to hide that something had been done. Perhaps that is why the elder necromancer is here. this is his doing, and he is trying to cover his trail?"
One advantage of not telling people what you were up to, even those that are involved. they really don't know and have to speculate. She helped warhammer with all that she coudl offer, and was rather timid but kindly. Obviously she was pretty young in her time under Malik's rule.
then a thought ocured to her.
"tell me, Warhammer...if my lord was the one who made all this death and destruction...why allow this legion to be defeated and broken? why did he not aid them, to ensure they would be the victor? It makes no sense to me to go through all this trouble...and have no intention to ensure a positive result."
The necromancer only smirked.
"For someone who completely had to rely on the former crew of a drow captain, you seem very ungrateful at someone offering help."
Hey, that's how he saw it. numbers would have won. the Purians had been outnumbered probably five to one. had they not have the intervention of Cedric, Orko, Elric and the summoner, he was fairly certian they would have been defeated. either in this battle, or in a seige that would have undoubtable risen.
But he shrugged lightly, and went about montioring things. talking only to those that spoke with him

A look to Malikhai. "And don't get into anything you know you're not supposed to be in." Because sometimes he got it in his little head for some reason that he was slick. Thus letting Malik take her downstairs and to the arena...just think, thier son was already starting into some of his more formal learning. Though she could be nostalgic another time, right now she had people to look over...after all, apart from a celric or two and the amount of time spent here, she barely knew Malik's own basement staff. After all, she really had no need to seeing as Malik practically ruled the downstairs on his absolute own. She didn't mind at all. However, Piper knew exactly how to deal with those that leaned more toward Malik than herself. "Okay, let's not play nice and what not for my tender surface elf morals and sensitbilities. No need to sugar coat or make it all seem perfectly fine and happy and fluffy, so on and so forth. You two are tier'dal, naturally you're a harsh bunch. You're a gnome, you're gruff and what not, and you're a half elf which comes with it's own complications. So let's just tell Piper what we all do and what not, since she doesn't spend time around you."
She of course was a teenager now, but none the less sweet as she always was. Her own daily chores had turned to revolving around the horses, cooking, and of course playing babysitter and playmate to Malikhai when he needed her. Though that was of course when she wasn't visiting with Meilikki, which she did quite often in fact. Of course she had come to clean the table off by this point but merely found the boy alone, fidgeting with excitment. "Is something exciting happening today?"
"I get to learn something new today, it's my treat. But I can't go downstairs yet to learn it." Sliding out of his chair he took to following Keely around to give himself something to do while he waited so he wouldn't just sit there and fidget.

Zykariel nodded adn finished up his breakfast. He ate as much as his father but not nearly as fast as his father. His tummy just wasn't big enough to hold that much food in that short span of time. But Zara usually sat there while he ate and either stole pieces of bacon off his plate or had a small one of her own. Today it seemed like she wasn't eating at all. But he looked between his parents and then picked up his empty plate. "I'm all done." Slipping off the chair he took it over to the sink and put it in then went upstairs to get dressed. He was going to see Malikhai!
"Sounds good. You'll see me later on, I'm sure." She stood up smoothing out and fixing her skirt, then walked over to the sink and washed the rag she'd used to clean up the batter spills, transferring it to the table and wiping up the syrup Zykariel always managed to get everywhere.
He bounded down the stairs, dressed, boots on, Rawr in hand and grinned. "I'm ready!"
"Not yet you're not. Did you brush your teeth?"
"Yes."
"Wash your hands?"
"Oh, I forgot."
She stopped him before he could run off and held up the rag. "I'll do it for you, you've got syrup on your face anyway." She scrubbed the little hands that were held out to her and then moved the rag to his face.
"But Zara-" the rest being muffled into the rag as he began squirming. HAted getting his face washed. Hated it so much. Finally squirming away, he looked at his father. "Can we go now?"
"Cloak," she said holding it out to him.
"But-"
Knowing Sevilin wouldn't enforce something that was really a matter of preference anyway, she said not one word just shook the cloak in hand insisitently until he sighed and took it. "Put it on."

Zell simply smiled at Onyx, showing his long fangs as he did so, not really an attractive face to say the most. "Cats could never understand Loyalty and compasion."
Zell looked warily at the bottle. Blending scents together? Yuck, that did not sound apatizing to him. The only way to enjoy scents was to have their source. This though made him tyhink of Mik. Yeah, the source was defenatly better, why would he want to carry around an 'essence of Mik' around with him? thats just nasty.

"So you lied, it won't help my muscles."
She looked at the bottle. "You really expect me to smear an experimental drug on me?"
"Indeed, I do as well." He looked at his wrist, but no watch was there, no instrument of any kind. "We'll make our way in a moment or two."

Eliot was excited for this trip, she was going to see some familiar faces instead of nobles and dignitaries that made her feel somehow inadequate.
"How are we to travel this time?" Warren always seemed to come up with the most fantastical ideas when it came to travel

Sevilin finished up the dishes before moving back upstiars to change his own clothes, of course being as speedy as he was about everything he was back downstairs before Zykariel had come back down. In fact he had time to dry the dishes and stack them on the counter, seeing as he didn't put dishes away, more or less because he wasn't allowed to.
But a chuckle from Sevilin as Zykariel went through the face washing ordeal as well as the other little odd gestures of care Zahara tended to give. He never understood why she did the things she did...but as long as it didn't hurt the boy. But he waited patiently for Zykariel to get his cloak on and then held out a hand to the child.
"Come on, we'll translocated today."

Zahara nodded when he looked at her with that 'am I acceptable now?' look and gestured them. "Have fun you two, I'll catch up with you later." She waited for them to disappear before putting the dishes away and then walking upstairs and flopping in the middle of Sevilin's bed. It was getting hard to keep her distance from the little boy, especially when he had such cute moments like asking to cook or even his eye rolling when she forced him into a cloak or made him go wash his hands. A smile came unbidden as she saw him again, batter all over his hands and clothes, just stirring away, painstakingly counting to fifty, making sure he got every single stir in. It was time to go talk to Faete. Ever since Zykariel had been born, she'd been telling Faete all about the boy. Sounding much more like a proud parent than the 'babysitter' she was but she didn't know that. She'd keep Faete updated on everything he needed to know, exalting in her son's achievements and praising him.
Zykariel held tight like he had been taught whenever Daddy needed to do magic that involved him. He blinked and suddenly they were at Malikhai's. "Hey Daddy? Will you teach me how to do that when I get older? Please?"

Still holding the boy's hand, he led him into the once upon a time fortress. Sevilin didn't know if he was going to work today or not, he was still deciding. Malik often didn't make him work, more of gave a strong suggestion on things.
Though a chuckle and a smile, looking down at his son and his little dragon, his other hand raising to pet at the ferret that had freeloaded onto his shoulder. "When you're older, sure I will teach you. Only if you're good and show you can be patient tough. You can't do my type of magic if you are not patient."

Zykariel followed along next to him and slightly behind since Sevilin's legs were so much bigger. Sometimes he had to run to keep up with him. "I can be patient. I know I can. At least...I think I can." Hmm, not to sure on that one. "Sometimes Khai wants to play with something and I want to play with it too but I let him go first and wait for him to be done with it. I don't want to wait, but I do...does that count as being patient?"
Zahara brushed down Faete as she continued to regale him with stories of Zykariel. Faete was nice to talk to because he didn't try to tell her she was wrong or that there was no possible way she could influence the boy towards those unspeakable means. None of them really understood where she was coming from because there was no way for them to truly know. They thought they did, told her they did but deep down inside she knew the truth. Being a mother wasn't in the game plan for her though she didn't believe that of all women, even drow. Piper and Fianna were fabulous mothers, a few of the women back home had been good 'mothers' too. Zahara was not one of those women. "And that's why it's better that I just keep my distance...even if I don't want to all the time..." At his soft nicker she gave him a sugar cube and stroked his nose lightly while he ate it before grinning at him. "Come on pretty boy, let's take you out and show you off." She easily took his lead rope and drew him out of the stall, then tacked him up and headed off towards Arthur's house. Arriving in record time because she and Faete loved speed, she jumped off and knocked on the door. "Galesen, open up or I'm busting the door down."

Arthur whistled a small tune to himself, the only reason he was staying at his house for a little while is because why would Malik want him there all the time? Yeah he needed to train and what not but being around there every single minute of everyday would either cause him to get into more work or trouble or he would stretch out his welcome a little too much; he really doesn't need to be pushy. So there he was sitting on the couch with his head in a book, going over spells he had read and preformed before just so he could refresh his mind so he knows what to do, then suddenly the rune appeared on his wall telling him that someone was coming to his house and before he could blink it lit up like a fireball; that meant only one person was at his door and the sudden shout and knock at his door told him he was right, Zahara was outside.
With a small smile Arthur got up out his chair and placed the book back on the shelf before heading over to the door, there was a small click as he unlocked the door with his key and opened it to see Zahara standing there on his doorstep. "Why hello mela what brings you here?" He asked with a light grin.

Rusty looked up at the clock, then at Moonstone and then finally at his own clothes. With a sigh he said in a low voice: "Sure..."
He ruffled his heavy patch of rusty fur on the top of his head and looked up at the doctor once more. "But, if I don't like it there I'm leaving at once."

She raised an eyebrow at him. "I do believe I was invited. You know that invitation that you extended that anytime I want to I could come over? So here I am." She pushed past him and into his house then flopped down on the couch. "Sorry about last night, I just wasn't feeling like going anywhere once I got home and started to relax." Laying down she regarded him for a moment. "What are you up to?"

Arthur shot up his own eyebrow when Zahara popped up her own and chuckled at her comment to his question. "I know that, that question is always standard when someone comes over to a house besides I didn't know you were coming right now." He told her as she pushed past him and walked on into his home, so after closing the door behind him Arthur slowly walked over to Zahara who was now laid out fully on his couch, he silently placed his hands in his pockets as he stood from behind the couch and looked down upon the female drow with a light smile. "No worries mela, I don't really mind at all just next time before you head home and you see me just tell me if you can't make it okay?" Arthur didn't mind that Zahara couldn't always come over to his place but the one thing that ticked him off was not behind told about it and having to wait for her only to realize she's never coming. But right now she was here talking to him so he would let it go for now. "What am I up to?" He asked as he looked around the house with a 'Was I busy?' look on his face. "Nothing really, got nothing to do today, thought about heading over to the fortress sometime later..." Arthur's eye lowered a little bit as he watched Zahara on the couch. "But since you’re here maybe I don't have to worry about being bored right now." He said as he leaned over the couch a little.
