He smiled at her purr. Making her happy was what he cared the most about, so it made him just as happy to see her so content. He watched a human couple in a horse-drawn carriage, staring into each other's eyes silently, and felt perfect empathy for them. He wondered though, how many loves he'd destroyed in his past...

He looked down at her, kissing the top of her head. "And I love you." He squeezed her hand affectionately. They passed by a pond, lit up by the lights around it and reflecting the moon.

She squeezed his hand in return, looking up at him with a loving expression in her eyes. "Everything's so peaceful and calm now...I wish it could stay like this forever."

Neko twined her arms around his neck and kissed him back with the same passion. Her heart was pounding in her chest, just like it had the first time he kissed her. Smiling in the kiss, she marveled how every kiss felt like the first. Oh, how much she loved him.

Walks the streets of NY for the first time in his life....*sits in central park by lake and waves his hand through the water, speaking under his breath* look at all the immortals walking around and to think I'm one of them, but I smell like a mortal. *goes and sits on a bench near by waiting for something to happen*
