I prefer lizards to most other animals. I'm not one for dogs, really. Cats are too high-maintenanced to keep. Lizards are just right.

Dogs are high maintenance. I think people have their perceptions of dogs and cats mixed. Cats are for lazy people. Dogs want your attention ALL the time.
Cats will let you know when they want your attention. They don't jump up on you and they spend most of their time showing you how long they can go ignoring the hell out of you... until they get hungry.They're there when you want to pet them, if they feel like letting you but that's pretty much it.
Dogs are closer to human children except they're cute, useful, and obedient, but their needs are just the same.

I like dogs because they always make me feel loved. Dogs are always happy to see you and even at their most 'meh' they still at least offer a "Sup, bro" in their own idiom.
Dogs are the bros of the animal world.

Stray_Dog Sorry, I guess 70 years is still too soon for Hitler. Not necessarily. I just don't find it funny since I'm Jewish and quite a lot of my friends were child survivors. Obviously, they're quite a lot older than me.
