Ms Clarice Ferguson ah, well.. they've tried to get new blood in here before. Sometimes they'll get one or two put they post once or twice and leave. I see. People have short attention spans it seems. And no devotion, when they can create a bunch of duplicate/mule accounts. I'll give it some more thought. On an aside note, I dont want to intrude on the RP going on the Fortress, so I will post my thoughts here. Clark is Clark, Superman is the disguise. That is all. Would you like a coffee Ms. Ferguson?

Ms Clarice Ferguson Superman, huh? Alrighty xd I work here. I should be asking to wait on you, boss. Yep, for Clark, Superman is the disguise; for Batman, Bruce is the disguise. Ive had this argument a multitude of times IRL. And please, allow me to serve you a coffee, its been a long time since Ive worked this stuff. Might I suggest a seasonal? They are popular lately. 3nodding

Well, doesn't everyone in the Nexus know Superman's secret identity?

Ms Clarice Ferguson Well, doesn't everyone in the Nexus know Superman's secret identity? I still dont know what this Nexus is. What Im getting at is that people assume that "Clark" is Kal-El pretending at being human. I postulate that Clark is Clark, and that he is Superman out of his feelings of responsibility. Order a coffee! The vanilla frappachino with red/orange sprinkles is popular! scream

So... let me see if I follow. You're trying to say we're RPing wrong?

Ms Clarice Ferguson So... let me see if I follow. You're trying to say we're RPing wrong? Ah, sorry if I insulted you by mistake. Im saying that "come back to being Clark" is inherently false. "Superman" is Clark with the bright blue, red, and yellow disguise on.

Of course. Lois is referring to "coming back to Clark" as in spending more time with her or just living as a normal person for a while (like when he had no powers in the 1 year later issues)rather than flying around as a superhero, or like the current comics.. walking around America.
Lois is my other account. Superman is my husband (Chris Powell's alt), in case you didn't know already.

Thanks for the RP clarification on that. It really bothers me when people take the "kill bill speech" approach to Superman. Clark feels he lives as a normal person by default. When he thinks he has to go save the world, he throws on his Superman disguise, so it seems we agree there. Quote: Lois is my other account. Superman is my husband (Chris Powell's alt), in case you didn't know already. Yep, figured it out two posts ago. 3nodding

I also have to say that I feel really weird that you've been back for like.. a week. I don't even know you because I wasn't around back then. I've been around a few years and this is the first time I've had someone publicly call me out on my Roleplay as being "not right". It feels really odd being evaluated like that, to be honest. (I'm sure other people have had thoughts on things I've done, but they haven't told me about it)
Kapow is my first experience with Roleplay and I think I get by okay most of the time, but I'm going to be apprehensive if it's some new thing the guild is doing.. evaluating us all sweatdrop I mean, I'm not evaluating you and your posts confuse the hell out of me because I don't know when you're talking about something in character/RP or when you're talking about real life stuff half the time. Not wanting to start drama, but if we're doing evaluations..

Nononononono, lets take a step back. Im sorry, I apologize. Im not some awesome guru handing down proclamations. Im just a dude with an old a** join date, with an opinion. Everybody has em. Mine are strong when it comes to GL and Superman. I didnt post into the RP because I didnt want to interrupt with just my personal opinion. You have your own opinion, and you are welcome to it. The last thing I want is any drama. I am not evaluating anybody. Please feel free to carry on as you were, I just had to get my 2c in. I really shouldve just stayed quiet I think. sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop
