Things had gone smoothly enough, the two simply wandering along as quickly as they could, Serena blabbing away about her boyfriend, all the while asking Wallace if he thought that this Darien guy "liked her liked her, or just liked her."
"I thought he was your boyfriend?"
"Well, he is, but he's older...and I never know what he's thinking about."
Wallace shrugged, "Sounds like he likes you likes you."
For a moment he was relieved that he didn't have to worry about that with Hartley. It wasn't as if all the girls in school were banging on his door to try to straightify him or something.
"I'm so hungry," Serena whined, and Wallace frowned, wondering how she remained so thin when she seemed to eat so much so often. She'd already told him everything she'd had for the past couple days, and it had seemed like a lot.
Serena's stomach growled, and as if to answer her tummy's prayers, when they rounded the next corner, there was a huge table before them. On top of it was heaped mounds of food. There was food Wallace wasn't as familiar with, but he could tell it was Japanese. There were cakes with pink swirls of frosting and tiny candied bits. There were bowls of ice cream, heaped high with toppings. Bowls of fruit and steamed vegetables.
But none of that appealed to Wallace as much as the plate of bacon, heaped high and crispy, dripping with fatty juices. Oh bacon, how he loved thee.
Serena took a nosedive towards the table, automatically shoving everything into her mouth willy nilly. Behind her a background appeared, pink with little cartoon foods floating as she consumed the sweets. Wallace's own mouth was watering, but he wasn't too sure they should eat it.
"I don't think we should be eating this," he said.
Serena looked up, her eyes welling with tears. "Why not? I already started, and I'm sooooo hungrrrryyyyyy."
"It might be poisoned? It might be laced with a magic spell that keeps us here? Like the pomegranate in that myth?" Wallace looked to her, then to the bacon. Serena looked forlornly at the deserts. Well, whatever, she was already screwed either way. Once more, she began to dig in, and Wallace was left with the temptation of the bacon.
To eat, or not to eat? That is the question.

The winged reptiles came down at the five teenage magicians and the kids immediately engaged them as best they could! Jets of light ignited the sky as magical blasts shot out of wands, staffs and outstretched hands, striking several of the creatures, but missing just as many!
"Watch out Billy!" Evil-Lyn shouted. "Behind you!"
Reacting on pure instinct, Billy dove down to the ground, and was barely missed by the razor sharp claws of the swooping demon! The beast rose again into the air and made the perfect target for Lyn who aimed her wand and one blast of purple energy later, and a charred body hit the ground at Billy's feet!
Billy looked up from it at the dark witch and blinked his surprise.
"Thanks...Evil-Lyn."
She turned her back to him and continued fighting, saying, "It won't happen again!"
"Flare arrow!" Lina shouted, summoning her fasted spells and firing them off into the sky at all angles. The attacking demons were dropping around her left and right!
A whipping of wind turned heads as Liir shot off the ground on his flying skateboard to get a better shot at the creatures and with his glowing yo-yo, he was firing off blasts left and right in rapid succession, hitting anything that got close to him. He barrel rolled past three beasts who all lunged and missed, but crashed into each other instead... and all three were struck by a stunning spell by Luna!
Two more demons made for Luna and a magical lasso ensnared them together and Billy whipped them around in the air and threw them, causing them to land in one of the bubbling lava pools! Billy turned and started hurling basic magical energy spheres at the creatures as they attempted to close in on him.
Pretty soon, the ground around the kids was littered with the remains of whatever these things were, and they looked up, breathing hard and battle weary.
"Was that all of them?" Luna asked.
Billy nodded. "That was some fancy shooting. Good work every..."
"Look at this!" Lyn said as she leaned down and examined one of the beasts. "Look at its development. These things were just babies!"
"Babies?" Billy blinked, not wanting to believe it. "We... did we just kill a bunch of baby demons?"
Lina said with a snarl, "Baby demons are still demons! And they were trying to kill us so it was us or them! So don't worry about..."
She was cut off by loud screeches...LOUDER than before...and heavier wings were heard beating in the air.
"Ohhhhh crap." Liir said as he slowly came down, not wanting to be in the air with whatever was making THAT particular noise. "If those were the babies ... wheres the parents?"
Luna brought her wand up and Billy held his his hands.
"No, don't!" Billy shouted.
"I'm not attacking." Luna said calmly and a stream of light shot up into the air. it soared higher and higher until it exploded in a brilliant array of colors that formed into a butterfly. "I'm calling for help."

"HEY!" Jen shouted at the small teenager who ran out of the house as if his a** was on fire. "Damn, get back here! Just because I'm a Hulk doesn't mean I smash first...darn it."
She saw the kid run off and she could see what looked like birds circling above in the distance.
"Man, he's heading straight towards that flock of birds." Jen sighed.
"Um... I don't think they're birds." Bulma said as she had pulled out some sort of binoculars. "Looks like some sort red... flying demons... oh...no... I don't wanna DIE!!"
"Maybe we can magic ourselves invisible?" Orco suggesting.
"No magic in front or on She-Hulk." Jen said firmly. The little guy seemed to need reminding constantly. "Okay close the house and lets get moving away from there."
Bulma closed her capsule house and it fitted neatly into her palm. She then threw another one down and a small jet bike appeared.
"I am not walking over this disgusting ground." She said sitting on the weird bike and placing her gun behind her.
"Orco get up in the sky and see if you can see anything else, take Bulma's binoculars."
"Me?"
"Yup, since none of us can fly and hover."
Orco gulped and flew upwards past any cliffs. He was really hoping Prince Adam was okay and able to find a way to transform to He-Man. He really hoped that he would find them soon. The girls were starting to really scare him.

Linda West Before anyone knew it the ball that was Linda, Ahsoka, and Vash came crashing down upon Achilles, Ghoulia, and Martina." Oh... what the? Hey your the guy that won the tournament.... um... Achilles right?"Vash looked over at a ticked off Martina." Hey Martina.."" You have some nerve crashing down on us like that.." " Yeah well we were trying to find our way out by going around some of the mountains and some slipped, next thing you know we're all rolling down till we crashed into you guys."" Whatever? Who are your friends anyways?" " This is Linda a reporter from Her High and this is Ahsoka from jedi high."" A jedi?" Martina looked at Ahsoka clearly showing her distaste for jedi's. Linda helped Ahsoka and Vash up. " Can we forget about all this? I think the most important thing right now is finding a way outta here." Achilles helped Ghoulia and Martina up, but the mistake was now Martina refused to let go of his arm, hugging onto it tightly with adoration. He tried pulling his arm free but this girl had one shockingly tight grip! He looked over and found himself giving a look of distaste at Ahsoka, just the same as Martina. His prejudice against the Jedi had started when they conspired to steal Mysia. "Problem?" Ahsoka casually asked as they started to walk, the two groups carefully side-by-side through the thick hedges of sharp thorns, and stepping over pools of foul sludge. "Somewhat." Achilles answered, his voice hard edged. "I find myself having little love for you and your ilk." "Ilk?" She shrugged. "Jedi, you mean?" "Call it what you will." He spoke back. "You say Jedi, I say dishonorable thieves." Linda groaned as Martina and Ghoulia looked up at Achilles but his eyes were solely on the road ahead. This could be bad. "Thieves?" Ahsoka frowned. "By what right do you accuse the Jedi of...?" Achilles interrupted her protest, "By right when your kind attempted to steal Mysia from our school grounds! That is what right!" The female Jedi blinked, "Mysia ... the elephant you mean?" She scoffed. "It is a simple school prank towards a simple mascot..." "Wrong!" Achilles bellowed, turning on the spot and pointing a finger directly at her. "No. Just ... no. Not a simple mascot, but more. Much ... more! A friend, and a trusted companion! Be grateful you did not succeed in your endeavor, Jedi, or else your school grounds would be nothing more than piles of dust and broken bones!" Silence permeated the tense, hostile stand-off. All f the other kids aside from Achilles himself shared the briefest of exchanged glances. There was turmoil inside of this boy's mind, festering like a wound. They had no idea of the emotional trauma he recently went through, but it was clear he was in dire need of a release, and right now as a Jedi, Ahsoka was a simple convenient target. "Well..." She said, keeping her eyes on his own. "If that is true, then you have my sincerest apologies." Achilles simple stared at her, unwavering when Ghoulia moaned at his side. Tense seconds passed when the zombie student of Monster High moaned again, this time pulling on his arm. "What is it?" He hissed, looking down at her. Ghoulia answered by pointing to somewhere in the darkness, deep down the rugged paths of the thorn hedges. Achilles watched in the distance, at whatever it was, but his sudden rigid posture did not speak well. Instantly his simple loin cloth morphed magically into his golden armor and he now held both sword and the Virgin Spear. " What is it?" Martina squeeked, visibly trembling. Achilles slowly drew his sword, standing ready. Tiny dots of red lights were now seen deep in the distance, and a hissing noise was heard...

"Professor Strange? Is that really you?" Wally peered up at the glowing blue image. It was hard to tell, but...Wally was sure. The image seemed to smile.
"Your perception is good, Wally. I am Stephen Strange...or rather, this is my astral projection."
"Then, the teachers know we're here?"
"I'm afraid not, Wally. They're otherwise occupied at the moment." Wally blanched at the words.
"Fighting Trigon."
"Excuse me, glowing blue person, but who in Ra's name is Trigon?" Cleo had pushed herself forward, maybe to be closer to the blue light. Strange's astral projection turned to face her.
"Cleo DeNile, daughter of the unsleeping Pharaoh. It is nice to meet you, such as it is. To answer your question, Trigon is the demon that rules the dimension you now find yourself in. Several times, he has tried to break the barrier between Azarath and the Earthly dimension. He has managed to send fragments of himself through before, by possessing people of great power."
"Yeah, like me." Wally confessed. Hermione gasped.
"You've been POSSESSED?"
"Well, not right now!"
"It is not Wally's fault what has happened right now..." Strange's projection continued. "It is mine. Trigon is currently in possession of my body, and it was through that he sensed the strong magical current that exists beneath Hero High. When Hero High was built, it was done so on a place where the magical lay-lines that cross Earth converge.
When there was enough concentrated power above that place at one time, Trigon was able to pull himself onto Earth, switching places with the concentration of power."
Jesse gasped.
"You mean he switched places with EVERYONE in the gym? From every school?"
"Nice to see you finally caught up, I figured that out hours ago." Hermoine sniffed.
"It is taking all of my powers to keep my astral form here, " Strange continued. "And that act is keeping open the portal Trigon created."
"The shaft of red light." Hermione kept shooting her hand up before talking, which Wally found weird, until he realized that she subconsciously was acting like she was in class.
Wizards. Sheesh.
"Yes, that red light in the distance is your chance home. However...unless every student who was transferred here is present, you won't have enough power to open it wide enough to return home. And as it is, there will be tremendous obstacles to getting there. Trigon may have ruled this realm, but he was far from the only demon who lived here."
Wally clenched his fists.
"We'll get there. And we'll get EVERYONE there. Professor Strange, will you be able to tell us where anyone else is?"
"I am sensing many groups of students on the move." The projection replied. "And I will try to reach out to some of them if I can. But I must concentrate most of my power on preventing Trigon from noticing the open portal. Fortunately, your teachers are helping to provide a distraction..."
Strange closed his eyes, and his astral projection wavered and vanished. Wally looked at his girls.
"We have to search! We have to find-"
"LOOK!" Jesse pointed at something in the sky. "A butterfree!"
"That's not a 'butterfree,' whatever that is..." Hermione pulled out her wand and headed towards the glowing projection in the sky. "That's one of the students from Hogwarts! Let's go!"

They continued in silence, following the silent youth before he disappeared entirely from their line of vision, leaving them in the dust. Teddy turned to Neville, a look of panic on his face. "Where did he go?"
Neville shrugged, then looked upwards at a point above Teddy's head. "That's from someone else at Hogwarts!" Neville cried out, and Teddy turned to see pastel butterflies float upwards. Strange. "I think it's Luna," Neville murmured, and he turned to head in the direction they'd come from.
Teddy stood there for a moment, wondering if everyone was going to leave him behind in one fell swoop, and then Neville paused to look over his shoulder. "You coming?"
Teddy nodded, and together, the two boys headed off in the direction of the butterflies.

Jack had been in the bathroom when everything got moved around, and so he found himself peeing directly onto the floor once the urinal was gone. For a moment, he looked about himself in confusion, realizing he wasn't in the high school anymore. Tucking himself back in and zipping up his pants, he wiped them on his jeans, for there was no sink to wash them in. Kind of gross, but no matter.
He wasn't quite sure where he was, but he did know that he was going to have to make the people well aware that he was here. So, they better fork over their riches and their hot babes. But first, he had to find them. Heading off down a wandering path, Jack stuck out his thumb. Someone would pass by and pick him up, right?

Here he comes.
*Malfoy collapsed before Chris, Ed, and Aayla. Chris scanned the horizon for what was chasing the little jerk but saw nothing. Ed rain circles around Malfoy and sang.*
Heeeeeeeeeee ran! Ran so far aaaaaaaaaaaaway! He just ran, all night and day! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Crazy Muggle...
What's chasing you?
This large, burly naked green girl Muggle!
Psh...no woman chase you. You're like Rylothian worm!
*Aayla and Malfoy began to shout at each other but Chris ignored them. Large and burly...and green? Could it be Jen? Better find out.
Chris smacked Malfoy on the back of his head. He went to do the same to Aayla but she ducked without looking and clasped her lightsaber.*
Don't.
*Chris and Aayla stared each down for several seconds before he spoke.*
We don't the luxury to bicker. Both of you will shut up...now. Draco...take us to the green girl.
*The four of them set off towards the place Draco had encountered Jen.*

Cassie shielded her face though the bats and Charizard set them on fire.
" What the...? what was that about?"
Over on a peak of a mountain Cassie saw a figure standing there. She was about to attack when Ash spoke out.
" Kaname..?" " Oh... it's only you Ash..." " What was the big deal in attacking us..." " We're in a different world and one can never be to careful. I apologize."
Anakin looked over at Ash.
' You know this guy?" " He's an upperclassman at my school. A little weird though... rumors are that he's a vampire"
Cassie looked Kaname over... a vampire... great. But he didn't seem to be causing any harm as he got on top of Ash's Charizard and the group continued on their way..

The gentle butterflies slowly dissipated from the sky and became little more than glowing sparkles that fell from the sky like glitter...
"Oh I hope someone saw that." Luna said.
Billy quipped, "Bright as it was, I'd be surprised if somebody didn't see it all the way to Earth!"
Lina stood ready, looking at the sky. "Well someone had better have seen it or else we're going to have some trouble on our..."
***THUD!***
The ground shook as something heavy landed nearby the five teens.
Lina finished, wide-eyed. "...hands?"
***THUD!***
Another landing...followed by another...and still another! The kids started to look up...higher...higher...
"Oh crap!"

' Whatever it is it better not cause any trouble."
Ahsoka drew out her lightsaber as the group walked closer and closer to the cave not knowing what awaited them..
" It sounds like a snake.." " What snake has eyes that big..?" "You'd be surprised."

"Well Orco?" Jen called up. "Do you see the little pervert boy?"
"I DO!" Orco said excitedly. "There's like 4 teenagers over there. I guess they're coming this way but they're a little far off."
"Do we really have to leave here?" Bulma whined. "I was just going to stay in my house till I got rescued."
"You can do that if you want but something tells me we've got to get ourselves out of here." Jen sighed. "This place isn't friendly, we've got to group up with as many people as you can."
Jen looked behind her and at the giant red pillar, it seemed like the biggest beacon here. It made sense that everyone would move towards that, but first she'd need to see who those other four kids were. She wasn't enjoying this leader thing she had to be meaner than she wanted to be.
"Okay, lets keep our heads down and hope those flying demon things don't spot us."
"Gee... you don't need to tell me twice!" Orco said almost curling into a ball as he came flying back down.

Achilles stood at the forefront of the gathered teens, taking the head position of the stand off against whatever the threat was that Ghoulia Phelps had noticed in the thicket of thorns before them.
He looked over his shoulder and saw that Martina was visibly shaking with fear, and Ghoulia stood beside her, showing no emotional response to what was happening but he knew she was no warrior. Her greatest asset was her brains (zombie joke!), not her physical prowess.
He turned back around just as the darkness at the end of the path broke and a horror rose up to greet them. It was a serpent of enormous girth and size, with many more smaller beasts bringing up its rear.
In the gathering of these creatures walked several humanoid figures, devoid of clothing or any human-like features. They bore no faces, literally. No eyes, no mouths ... nothing.
The eyes of the reptiles glowed in a demonic red as they advanced on the kids. Martina whimpered audibly at the sight of these creatures of this netherworld.
Achilles looked back and his eyes fell to the Jedi, Ashoka, and gave a curt nod toward Martina and Ghoulia.
"Stand at their side and protect them! They are not armed, nor are they soldiers!"
He turned back around just as the great serpent lunged at him and he swung his sword!

"No. Look closer, it's carrying people." "That's Ash's Pokemon. They are with us!" Dani, Michelle and Fred, jumped up and down shouting to get their attention! "Hey! Down here!" "Look at us!" "We're here!!" They all shouted badly needing a lift. in the right direction. Even at this distance they could feel something bad was happening. rumbling from a distance. Being in the air was a lot safer to them then being on ground.

BAM!!!
WHAM!!
SLAM!!!
All five kids cringed visibly as they held their hands, wands and staffs up (and yo-yos ~ don't forget the yo-yo!), trying to maintain the barrier they erected around themselves while firing off their shots of defensive magic through the shield itself against the colossal beasts who were hammering away at it with all their unholy power!
In question as to where the parents were of the slain demons, they were standing high over the shield at a height of what had to be twenty feet at least! They were covered in thick muscle from their legs to their torsos, and were even uglier than their reptilian offspring! The flesh was visible underneath the rock-like scales and flames danced off of their wings and bodies and from deep in their eyes and mouths.
All five kids cringed as the obviously pissed off parents (and what had to be the rest of the adult pack) were pounding hard, and the beginning of cracks started to show in the force field!
