I remember I quit for several months and when I came back I restarted my character (used the "I got hit by a car, was put in a coma, and woke up and all my Pokemon were stolen!" excuse). Pokemon can also gain evo points during missions and RPs if they contribute in a significant way, even if they don't directly battle. For example, if a tree is on fire, using Squirtle's Water Gun to extinguish the flames would count. However, you're still limited to one point per mission or RP.

I have now forced myself to dig up the old python battle simulator. So guess what? I'm a horrible programmer :] Time to go read a whole bunch of source material so I can learn how to do all this while I do my English homework XD
