Hayate nodded smiling at Zadina "I know about that, I was there when you were discussing it earlier though their is no harm in doing it so long as you don't turn it into a bad habbit. Though an elder is a fine job to have but in the meantime if Zadina was a little older I'm sure there would be all kinds of mages trying to pester him to take on apprentices, its what they do to all high level mages nowerdays" he chuckled watching Sophia's movements.

Seph smiled and nodded her head approvingly "I bet loads of people would like that sort of thing too if maybe a little less violent... they have taken a finger off the odd thief trying to get some of my stuff. But that doesn't mean I'm going to sell it all to you" she smirked piling her plate up with noodles until it was almost overflowing.

Hebal rolled her eyes debating whether to get more food just yet "I'm sure he will be wise and all but what the world needs is more cool old people, you know like ones such as boy racer airship captains for example. But you might get an awesome apprentice, I know Amane would love to be taught more magic... and her friends actaully but theres nobody really in the mood to play teacher"

Mari frowned watching as Ivy took a deep breath before diving feet first into the glass "She's going to need drying off soon" she muttered watching as Ivy pulled a silly face at Hayate from the glass. "Yes I suppose Alpha does count as a cool old guy, maybe that General Dysocu as well" she said watching Gil sit down again.

Itaka chuckled "A real good artifact that is, since most folk don't even see it can't imagine many thieves going for it" he said "Maybe I'll get Zadina to enchant one like that I hear he'd like to study enchanting." he said.

Zadina giggled "Amane will be too old to be my apprentice by the time I'm ready to teach" he said "But why would I get first pick?" he asked blushing slightly "I had a rather easy time, my mother made me her apprentice" he said eating some food.

Hayate pulled a silly face back at Ivy before taking a sip from his new drink "And that is why magic is the most convenient thing you can have around the house, a simple dry spell would do the trick in seconds" he shrugged leaning back in his chair "Well you know how my dad is head of the mage school right? He told me that what they do is look at all teachers, rate them in imporance and how hardworking they are and the like and then the ones with the best reputations get first pick of the apprentices. And Dysocu isn't so bad or scary, he isn't as serious as he looks" he added to Hebal

Seph grumbled almost spilling sauce onto the table as she put the plate down "Uhh yeah but people who work on enchantments have a reputation for being annoyingly ticksy" she muttered wrapping her noodles around her fork "It's just what they are called since most people don't know where they get linked to and thus they seem bottomless, don't blame me for the name" she said talking with her mouth full.

Hebal giggled shaking her head at Zadina "Relax for you have centuries to decide on what you want to do unlike most of us who get nowhere near as much and can always decide you don't want to teach and tell Hayate's dad to bog off" she assured him before springing up to dash around the food table and grab any random food on the way to ensure a quick return to her seat.

Zadina nodded "You're right Mr Hayate I've still got loads to think about" he said chewing his food and swallowing "I could be the mega wizard in charge of the magical academy one day!" he giggled excitedly.

Jenna rolled her eyes "Well maybe she could decide quicker if she wasn't trying to avoid us so much" she sighed starting on her steak straight away.

Oassu nodded watching Elithana go back to some items she'd left because they were nearby "Yeah she's clearly not exactly in the best of moods" he sighed dropping his fork on his plate and rubbing his head "There was me thinking only your mother didn't know about my vocation" he muttered.

Itaka chuckled "I guess so still imagine there's just this giant treasure pile somewhere filled with all the bottomless junk from everyone with a bag like yours" he said grinning at the thought before turning back to the food.

Mari giggled "I'll be right back, I think Hebal might knock something over if she doesn't slow down" she said plucking Ivy out of the apple juice and rolling her up in a napkin letting her snooze before going to join Hebal for more food.

Felina sighed rubbing Oassu's head for him "Are you feeling ok there? Sorry she's being a little grumpy towards you, she's probably just thinking of how to handle the situation best. She's not good at dealing with new things. I think dad will eventually tell mum as he's not mean enough to leave her the only one in the dark, he's fine with it as is Corella so I bet it will all work out" she smiled being optimistic.

Hayate chuckled giving Zadina a thumbs up gesture while he watched Satoshi scrape the remains of her fish into Enkidu's mouth before getting up for more "Thats the spirit, reach for the best position you can though no need to think. Enjoy yourself before life gets less fun and more unwanted responsibility is thrown upon you"
