Ryou tucked his hair behind one ear. "That wouldn't be fair at all. He was generous enough to leave this all to Kira before... It wouldn't be right to still have a grudge against him. Besides, I doubt he'll insist on staying here." Ryou, honestly, didn't know what Pegasus would do. He smiled blankly at the others. Bakura hissed in Ryou's mind. Bakura was not mentioned at all to the others, but the truth was, he was constantly in Ryou's mind. Khalid had done something to ensure that Bakura couldn't take control of the body without Ryou's consent, but Bakura could still speak with Ryou.

"Please stop." Ryou said, bringing a hand up to his face. He was surprised that he had spoken aloud, but it didn't show on his face. He looked to Kawi and Ember. "I know you're probably joking around, but please stop annoying each other."

Atem frowned at Ryou and would have said something, but Khalid and Pegasus reentered. Pegasus looked to be in his normal pleasant mood, and Khalid was the one who looked grumpier. Ryou looked extremely nervous; his hands were shaking slightly. Khalid scowled at the others. "Is everyone still of the opinion that we should go shopping?" He asked, not giving any hints as to what he had spoken to Pegasus about.

Pegasus cleared his throat softly. Khalid looked over at him in some shock. He seemed to realize what the man was getting at. "Pegasus is coming as well. No objections?" He gave Atem, who looked like he was about to protest, a sharp look. The pharaoh scowled and didn't look pleased in the least, but didn't say anything.

Pegasus was part confused, part amused by this child. As they left the house, he moved to walk next to Kira. "He's yours, yes?" He asked conversationally. He had been dead for a good number of years. The last time he saw Kira, however, he remembered that she had been pregnant. Was this the same child? "How old is he?"

"He's...um...Two....I think....Im not sure..." Kira looked over to ryou for the correct answer. She dident know how long she had been gone.

Ryou looked to Kai, calculating silently in his mind. "Um... Almost a year now, I think." He couldn't exactly remember how old Kai had been when Kira died. She had been dead for a few months.
Pegasus seemed to be amused that neither of the parents-- so he assumed them to be-- couldn't remember their child's age. He looked at Ryou. "You are the father, yes? He looks like you. Where is the other child?" He was referring to Rei, though he wouldn't know the name. All he knew was that Kira had been pregnant last time he saw her, and that this boy was too young to be that child.
"I'm still working out the legal procedures to get that one back." Khalid replied promptly. He looked to Kira. "Without your being here, I couldn't proceed very much. If you are still interested, I can resume from where I had left off."

Kira nodded "Yes...I'd like that..." Kai cooed and reached out tugging on pegasus's hair "ah kai nono" kirasaid gently taking kais hand and making him relise his hair.

Pegasus still had some questions to ask, though. He hadn't met Ryou before-- his yami, yes, but not the boy himself. Once Kai's fingers were removed from his hair, he decided to ask one last thing and continue later. "So are you two married?" He looked from Ryou to Kira.
