Anonymooo Then tell me about the following comics, Crawley: 30 Days of Night. Kevin Smith's run on Green Arrow. Mom's Cancer. Superman: For All Seasons. Spider-Man: India. The recent relaunch of Alpha Flight. Tezuka's Buddha. Preacher. The Cataclysm and No Man's Land storyarcs. Resurrection Man. And why, oh why, Chap Yeap and Bart Sears barely do anything any more. xd None of those interest me. Why would I read something that doesn't interest me? I can read the titles and tell. Because my criteria is different. Have you read Birds of Prey, Mystique, Danger Girl, Deadpool, Taskmaster, kept up with Marvel's Civil War storyline, Tomb Raider, Liberty Meadows, Kof 97' 98' 99' 00' 01' 02' 03', Oh Great!'s stuff besides Tenjo Tenge, Yonekura Kengo's stuff, Kotoyoshi Yumisuke's stuff, and a bunch of other crap I can't name right now? hypnosis is fun. which version are you playing? i bought the home version for ps2... exceed. man, i wish they'd added take on me to that list, because the video and full-double steps were fun.
gotta get back up to where i was, beating things like danger zone, episode 1, winter, and such... and beat mr. larpus.

It's like an R&B judge, making a say on the Rock Genre.
And vise versa.

Big deal. There are more things to name. Most of what I mentioned were common titles.. I'm quite aware of that lol.
But he's not the authority on the matter.

Make an irrational inflamatory statement with the obvious intent on starting an argument, and then harp on the first person who takes the bait for getting on your case or "playing thought police". This thread is better than cable T.V.

Tru: I think it's fine. Do the post in the battle thread, I have no problem with that, honestly.
Crawley: Birds of Prey is sharp, well-written Gotham fare, as usual. At least it's better than the currently-weak Shadow of the Bat. It ranks up there with Robin in giving us entertaining non-Batman fare, while not quite on the level of, say, Nightwing.
Mystique failed to hold my interest after the first issue. It seemed like it was trying too hard to keep the same edge as Emma Frost, which ended up being much, much better.
Danger Girl is escapist fun at its best. The original Cliffhanger! seven-parter by J. Scott Campbell is great "popcorn" reading, and it has a very strong James Bond/G.I. Joe feel. The Odd Jobs trade had some fun stories as well, especially the parts done by Joe Chiodo and Arthur Adams.
In its long run, Deadpool was pure genius from Joe Kelly and then-newbie Ed McGuinness, making a third-rate Liefeld-created assassin somebody you actually cared about. It waned after first McGuinness, then Kelly left, eventually devolving into the same roundabout stuff that happens to any X-spinoff after the newness wears off: it got boring.
I haven't read Taskmaster yet, but I wouldn't mind it.
Civil War is hilarious. I haven't picked up the newest batch of issues and crossovers yet, but it was great to see J. Jonah Jameson collapse like that.
Tomb Raider was a decent marketing push for Top Cow. Putting Andy Parks in the artist's seat was a good move, and random covers and crossovers by Michael Turner only helped the series. It's not a bad comic, but I've read more interesting stuff elsewhere.
Frank Cho is a brilliant writer, and a great artist. In addition to Liberty Meadows (Brandy, I looooove yooou), he's had a recent stint on New Avengers.
The King of Fighters manhua ranges from extremely well-done (Andy Seto on '99! Holy s**t!) to all right (the '03 artist--forgot his name--was actually kinda bleah). It's like most fighting game manhua--great fun, solid art, and dialogue that's so over-the-top it makes shounen manga cringe.
Oh!Great has been making quality comics since his hentai days: Silky Whip is great ("I won't lose my virginity to a man like him... so I'll lose it to my loyal German Shepherd!"), as is its sequel series. Air Gear is a stylish mix of Jet Set Radio cool and pro-wrestling badassery. Ikki's gonna be the Sky King, no doubt about that. Also, Naked Star... wow. He returned to form with his hentai work in a great way. xd
Yonekura Kengo... I'll have to look him up. AHH, he was in the ROBOT anthology, which I find to be one of the biggest style-over-substance pop books ever. Great art, but really, none of the work in there really made me want to get another one of the anthologies. Inoue Takuya, Victor Rinaldi, and Kimura Takehiro are, in my opinion, stronger erotic-style artists than Yonekura, mainly due to technique and presentation.
And speaking of Kotoyoshi Yumisuke--I downloaded Midara a couple days ago, but haven't gotten around to actually reading it yet. I will, worry not. xd
