M - *whitens, but sighs* Somewhere you can't upset her. Don't worry, she's perfectly safe. I may not like you, and you may not like me, but I love her. And I'll be darned if I'm going to stand idly by while you hurt her; while you cut down something that she's decided since we were seven. FOr YOU.
I wish I could say it was for me, or that it was because she fell inlove with me like I did her. But she learned to love me. So that you could marry for love, instead of pureblood arrangement.

*doesn't show up to class all day, nor any meals. The professors hand Jade and Harry written assignments to give to her when they see her*
*Kagumi finally comes in around one in the morning, sneaking into the common room and getting the assignments that Jade left on a table. She sits on the couch and begins to quietly work.*

Jade- *jumps cat-like after her, and pins her to floor* You ain't goin' anywhere, girly. *drags Gumi back into common room* *tosses Gumi on couch and binds her there* I get that you think Malfoy is someone that you want to marry, but, come on, get it through your head, he isn't the guy you think he is.
Gumi- *struggling* How so? Get me outta these things.
Jade- You remember that week he came with us to Uncle Jack's farm?
Gumi- Yeah. I remember. He got up super early the first morning to make me a special breakfast.
Jade- Wrong! He got up, because he said he wanted to talk with me, and as we walked around, he rarely said a thing. And when we got to the old well, he waited until Uncle Jack wasn't looking so that he could push me in.
For crying out loud, the guy tried to kill me!

G - *snorts* Whatever, Jade. YOU are the one who doesn't know HIM. Uncle Jack had drained and filled that well the week before we ever went over there. He was a kid. Moreover, he was Lucius Malfoy's kid. That guy gets off while beating Muggles up for no reason. What did you expect his kid to be like with no positive influence in his life?!

G - Look. Draco has changed. I know him far more than you do. If you don't believe me, walk into the Forbidden Forest directly in front of the Whomping Willow. You'll see that he changed. And once we get this ritual done, then it won't matter. He'll have changed even more. WHy can't you see that he's not the guy you see him as?!

But lemme tell you this, as soon as you marry him, don't come crying to me when I'm buried six feet under because I "mysteriously" died in some unexplained accident, that was actually his doing. *goes over to portrait hole* Go on, go. G - Just go away, Potter. Unless you can get my sister to magically...heh, no pun intended...to change her mind, there's nothing you can do.
H - I was just going to say...*Gumi looks up* Maybe you're right. And what Jade said was wrong. He's lucky, you know. To have someone who believes so completely in him. You have to stand by what is right. And what you believe in is noble...And...I appreciate you taking the Malfoy name to let Jade marry on her own. *he hugs her and goes back upstairs*
*At Breakfast, Kagumi and Draco are nowhere to be seen*

Har - Not us...Her and Gumi. Over Malfoy.
R - Who'd fight over that little git?
Her - *glares at Ron* Why did they fight?
Har - Because apparently, Gumi has an arranged marriage once she's finished school. And that marriage is to Malfoy. If it wasn't Gumi, then it was going to be Jade. So Gumi took it, so that Jade could marry for love. Now Jade thinks Gumi's stupid for going through with it, because she claims that Malfoy once tried to kill her. But Gumi made a valid point and said that it was Lucius Malfoy's son when he was just a little kid, so what did she expect?
Her - *Turns to Ron* Is the pureblood marriage arranging magically binding?
Har - Gumi said it was...
Her - Wow...no wonder they got into a fight. BUt the thing is, if Gumi...or someone of Gumi's blood...Has already signed the pre-nuptial agreements...there's no point in fighting it. It's magically binding. Which means that Gumi has to go through with it, whether she wants to or not.
G - *Walks in with dark circles under her eyes* That's what I said. Here's my view: I can either go through with it whining and moaning about my poor poor unlucky fate.
