[I have returned, for now! ]

Gwen grumbbled something before she realized Kazuma was talking to her, she looked up at him and tilted her head slightly. She pulled out a headphone and asked in her sweetest voice, "What did you say?" After she spoke she looked at her hands and attempted the fourth handseal once more and she smiled happily as she had gotten it down.

Kazuma turned his attention to Gwen, who was sitting next to once again. "I said how's you're training going Gwen." He said to answer her question. He still felt nervous around her but he had finally worked up enough courage to at least not let it get to him too bad. But he still blushed a little bit. He didn't need to be told this, cause he could feel the warm sensation on his cheeks.

Mag was quick to sit up, her legs were still crossed so she had to catch herself with her arms to stop from falling back over. She had just relized that she wasn't the only one finished. Kazuma was done. Was she supossed to do that training he had just finished? Maybe she was supossed to go ask the teacher what to do. That was probobly the better idea, so she chose to act on this one.

Mag rose to her feet walking slowly towards Nadiya. Before speaking Mag once more entered a bow. "Um, yes... I have finished your assignment. What should I do now?" Maggie remained in her bow breathing heavly through her mouth. She didn't want to sound to eger, and she wanted to speak softly so the students who where done didn't feel to bad being passed by the new student.

Nadiya looked down at the girl who had finished. So splendid, now a real test that required more then repetitive training.

"Exceleent child. Kazuma! Come here, I have something for you two to do. You see you can practice this all day, which you do, but it does no use for you if you can't act. So how about you two have a little spar and put your skills to the test. It'll be good for you both. Don't get too bloody with it, but their are weapons there in the box if you are so inclined."

It would be quite interesting to throw these two in the ring against each other. Since they have had no real fighting experience it would say a bit about who they are depending if they jump right into it are go about with a bit of caution.

((~Start Spar~))

Training Bow = 1 - 6 + Dex mod. Just like Taijutsu damage. xd Range = ~60ft.))

A spar? Against a girl? Kazuma wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea but he did realize he wouldn't be able to choose his opponent, and girl or not the fact she was older made up for this disadvantage he had against her. He got up hesitantly and walked over to the box pulling out a bow and quiver filled with bean bag arrow heads. The kind you use when you're trying to practice catching arrows with someone. He placed the quiver over his head, knowing that he would need to keep a good distance for the tactic of staying away would work. He didn't bother to get anything else, not knowing what to expect from his opponent. And walked up and gave a sigh. "Alright Mag, let's spar. Grab a weapon if you need or want to." He said not sure of what exactly he was supposed to do.

Mag rose from her bow almost so fast that she toppled over. What? She wanted Maggie to spar? Mag's breath began to speed up as she thought of the pysical strain her body was about to go through. Dodging, throwing punched, getting get. Mag's heart started to race at just the thought of it, but she atempted not to show it on her face, failing of course. Her eyes were wide and her lips were parted a little farther then normal in shock. Mag bowed once more, "I understand." her voice tremmered a little in fear, but she stood up straight and walked away with a little bit of pride. She looked at her metal braclet, her heart rate had risen, but not to a level that she needed to worrie about. With a sunken heart she looked at Kazuma, "I would think it would be much saffer, if we simply stayed away from the weapons at this point." Mag gave a feable smile as she gulped down her fear. Mag watched as he picked up the arrows. Or not... she would just have to avoid getting hit.

Kazuma smiled as he flung the bow over his shoulder. He would stick to grapples only then. He wouldn't feel right hitting a girl with his fist, but he had no problem shooting them with training weapons. He made a promise to his father to never swing at a girl. It was a promise he had taken directly to heart. And a promise he'll never break. He knew she had already won this sparring session only because of that. But he would at least do as there teacher asked and spar with each other. "Alright then Mag." He said to her. "No weapons then." He continued as he got into a position he'd seen a grappler get into on tv one day. This was more then fair warning on how he intended to fight. It was the only way he knew how to win without breaking a promise to his father, or without taking off the bow from his shoulder and shooting a few arrows at her. He didn't know what else to do and she left him with no other real option other then quit. And Kazuma was too head strong to just simply quit. It's the reason he became a ninja, was to become better and stronger then he could have ever been normally. And nothing would stop him from his dream of being a ninja.

Mag smiled glad that she didn't have to worrie about the arrows anymore. If it were not for the fact her metal gauntlets supressed her chakra she would have removed them for a even fight. She would just have to make use Faint attacks. More of dancing light hits the full on swings. "Sense you have accepted my terms, I invite you, make the first move." She got into her stance, one foot in front of the other, her arms folded neatly behind her back. If all went well she would be able to sidestep his initial charge and be able to hit him in the back of the head. Of course that ment she had to count on him rushing her without a plan of his own. If he took more of a boxing way of fighting she would have to adjust her footwork at the last minute.

((Idk how grapples are supposed to work so I'm just going to roll two dice: Attack and Grapple... >.< yeah...

14 and 17... that's 12 and 15.))

Kazuma never intended to ever raise a fist to a girl, and the fact he had never been physically strong left him lacking in the area of being able to land a good hit and he almost always never did any good damage. The last time he punched someone it was his mother, and that didn't even hurt her. That's when his father made him promise never to hit a girl. He didn't want to have to break his promise to his father. And the fact he wasn't the type of person to say no, he had gotten rid of his only way of attacking her. Know he was left with only grappling to leave him without feeling guilty, or that he had broken a promise. As mag told him to make the first move he came at her swiftly with only a few simple step and a grab to grab her by the side of her arms. He never seen the position she had taken to fight back, it was new and strange he generally thought that most taijutsu styles had their hands in front of them, not behind their back. It made for an increadibly senseless opening. And opening that Kazuma felt he needed to take over and get her to submit before she figured out that he wasn't as physically strong as he should be. It wasn't that he had the disease yet, but it was because his father had it. Kazuma wanted everything to be like his father so he learned to enjoy the things his dad did so he could spend time with him. This left himself physically weak, but mentally strong since he father enjoyed reading over anything else.

[[Quoting the academy here:

To Grapple: 1d20 + Melee Attack Bonus
To Escape Grapple: 1d20 + Escape Artist

So sense your first attack was the one that you get it would be 14 + whatever your melee atrck bonus was Vs my 12

So you win, and I'm grappled.]]

Mag watched as Kazuma rushed her like she was assuming he would, however the way he attacked she had not counted on. She had planed for just a simple punch, but he had grabed her arm taking her to the ground. She had not been prepaired for that, if she had taken the correct measures she would have jumped back farther instead of just trying to take a sidestep. She felt herself pinned by the grapple, leaving her the ability to do only one thing. The hope that maybe she could break his grapple. After a few moments of stuggle she found that she could just pry through the child fingers. She broke his grip and rolled away jumping to her feet. Her breath was already heavy, and what was worse was this battle hadn't even started yet. And now she had another problem she had to watch out for. The boy was not stupid, tricking her with a false rush to grapple, quite a clever trick.
