Raising a brow, He shrugged slightly as they walked, "Uhm...I guess so. Since there are barricades to stop them from going over the edge...and adults around." Blank replied slowly, obviously not really picking up on her true motives behind her acting strangely.
"..Are you feeling okay? Your face is brighter than your hair." He said with a slight grin, giving her hand a squeeze.

Aki sighs, feeling lucky that Blank didn't figure it out, and she looks up at him with a smile, giving his hand a squeeze in return.
"Yup, I'm fine... are we almost there?" she says, trying to change the subject.

"Mmm...Almost. We still have a bit of a trek." He said, pointing up to the top of the mountain where the tower stood, "The path weaves through the forested tops above. I'm not too sure they'll let us in...But when I was growin' up, we found a way up that led us up to just below the supporting disk." He said, referring to the flat round top underneath the satellite dish above.
Blank led the way up the stairs, enjoying the shade beneath the trees as they walked, "It brings back alot of good memories walkin' up this trail." He said with a smile, looking back at Aki lovingly.

Aki lets out a little sigh as they walk in the coolness of the shade. She looks up to the tower and can't help but think of Blank as a child climbing up the side.
"Yeah? Did you get into lots of trouble?" Aki says, returning his smile with just as much love behind it.

"Holy Hyne; numerous times." Blank said with a grin, "But we never disrupted anything...Well...One time we were horsing around inside and ended up flipping this lever...and lets say that communications broke off for a solid 5 hours around the globe." He said, remembering the memory well and how much weight his oldman made him carry up and down the hill for a week, "It was pretty bad." He added with a crooked grin.

Aki laughs at the thought and grins up at Blank.
"I bet your parents were furious," she says, chuckling.
As they come closer to the tower, Aki looks straight up at it, never realizing how tall it actually was.
"It must be dizzying at the top," she says.

"Yeeeah. Needless to say...The reason I have so much muscle is because of that incident." He said with a low chuckle, "It's kind of scary on the climb up, but once up there, the ocean and the sun look amazing." Blank replied, looking up at it also when they finally approached it.
Like he assumed, the place was closed to civilians, "...Hm...Do you think we have enough time to check it out?" He asked, looking up at the sky to see where the sun was...it must have been approaching early into the afternoon already, the climb here taking longer than it seemed.

"I think so... I doubt they'd leave without us anyway, I arranged everything before we even left Balamb," Aki says with a smirk.
She was kind of nervous about being up so high, but she really wanted to see the view, so she was willing to put on a brave face.
"Shall we?" she asks, giving Blank a wink.

Blank grinned as she prepared everything even before they left, "'Kay. Let's go." He said with a wink of his own as he started to climb up the rock to the right of the entrance, moving through the brush till they came to a fenced off area, "Great! The barbed wire is still cut." He said, looking up at the top of the fence, "Over the fence, there's a ladder that leads up to a short balcony." He turned to the red-haired woman, a smile of assurance on his face.

Aki follows him up to the fence, and chuckles as he discovers the wire was still cut. She couldn't help but get the image of a young Blank with a pair of wire cutters mischievously cutting away at the barbed wire.
"Alright, lead the way," she says, grinning at him lovingly.

He smiled widely before turning to the fence and gripped it tightly in both hands before beginning his climb up the fence, heaving himself over before landing with a heavy thud, "C'mon!" He said with a slightly hushed voice, liking the thrill of causing some trouble once again.

Aki giggles at his obvious enjoyment, and quickly climbs the fence, leaping off the top and landing gracefully and silently in a crouch beside Blank, strongly resembling a cat as she so often did.
She stands and winks at her lover, his excitement becoming contagious.

Blank grinned as she winked at him and stepped up to the ladder which led up a good twenty feet. The ladder seemed rusted and weather worn, but stable. He climbed at a casual pace, not wanting to haste through the excitement.
Within a few short and quick minutes, he climbed onto the metal grated balcony, and spun around, offering his hand to his lover as her ascend up the ladder followed after him.

Aki follows him up the ladder with ease, though she seems to be cautious with her footing. She may be agile, but she was still scared of falling.
When she reaches the top, she takes Blank's hand with a grin and hoists herself up onto the balcony with a sigh. She scoots closer to Blank, not wanting to be too close to the edge, and looks out at the view.
"Wow... it's beautiful," she says, astonished at just how far she could see.

Blank grinned as she stood close to him, "Yeah...And we're only halfway there." He said turning to the other end of the balcony; opposite of the ladder, "It gets alittle more dangerous now...but the view is alot more stunning higher up." He stated as he stepped onto the railing and gripped a thick pipe on the side of the metal structure before hoisting himself up along it, his eyes flashing a quick dark blue, losing some of the risk of falling with heightened senses.
He continued along the thick pipe, a minute or two passed and he was now on the flat disk which sat under the satellite dish which pointed into the sky. Turning around, Blank again offered his hand to Aki, hoping that she didn't fall when he was climbing up...Seeing as his life would end in the worst possible way.
