Wikipedia is not a very good source of information, because anyone and everyone can change the articles' info.
I don't really like vermin, I take after my mother in that matter. D:

I don't really like vermin, I take after my mother in that matter. D: he's 15, he has yet to learn this fact. they still accept wiki as a legit source in many high schools. neutral

And yes, anyone can change stuff, but generally it's still mostly correct. Also, I'm pretty sure they have people going through and making corrections to "corrections".

Most schools here don't accept Wikipedia as a source of information, we are allowed to check stuff there, but we should also have an alternate source to back the Wikiarticle up just in case.
Next week in one of our computer classes we're going to learn how to create, modify, delete and upload stuff to Wikipedia. ;o

Under no circumstances one should try to base their work on information found in wikipedia nor put wikipedia as a reference. It's a simple no. But of course you may always check it for directions. The articles are often written by people who know what they're talking about and who give the real references at the end.
